Ok fine. Here's a selfie^^

"Katie, calm down!" Luke said as Kenzie raised her hand.

"Kenzie?" Katie called on her.

"Um, what do you mean by that? And can someone finally tell us why we were kidnapped?"

Katie turned to glare at the guys, "Boys, you wanna answer that?"

"Not particularly, no," Jason gave a charming smile.

"Aaarrrgggghhhhh," Luke dragged a hand down his face. "A mate is basically a soul mate, remember? We kidnapped you because you are our mates."

A moment of stunned silence.

"Wait...Kenzie is Luke's mate right? Not me?" I asked helpfully. Luke nodded. "Ok good. Just making sure."

"Well, I think it's time for us to leave now," Kenzie started walking over to the door before Luke zoomed in front of her.

"What?" He asked.

"You guys are freaking wolves! I'm a human being!" She said, gesturing wildly.

"Tru dat," I sidled up beside her.

Luke slapped his forehead, "We would never hurt you, it's one of our jobs to keep you safe."

"Oh yeah, because you're doing such a great job already!" I retorted. He growled and his eyes flashed. I growled back.

He was shocked into silence as Katie stepped up, "Relax. Let me talk to them, girl to girl."

Luke muttered, "Fine," And Katie led us upstairs.

We settled down in my room as Katie tried to talk to us.

"Look, I know it can be a bit overwhelming, but really, if you dig down deep, you'll find a guy. And if you keep digging, eventually you'll find a nice guy. I assume."

We paused, "Well that made me feel much better."

"Just give them a chance," She insisted.

"Um no thanks," Kenzie shook her head.

"Why?"

"Well it's a good thing you asked," I answered and launched into my reasons. "Number 1:-"

"Ok," Katie interrupted. "I'm sure you have good reasons, but-"

"Wait, who are you, Katie? What do you have to do with all of this?" Kenzie asked.

"I'm part of the pack too, Jake is my mate and Jason is my cousin," She responded.

"Yikes," I said.

"Don't worry, we're nothing alike," She quickly assured me. "Will you at least give them a chance?"

No.

I bit my tongue to keep from blurting out my answer.

"Ill think about it," I decided.

"Eh," Kenzie sniffed and turned away, reluctantly agreeing.

Katie's mouth turned up into a smile and she hugged us and left to get her bags out of her car.

"I can't wait to get out of here," I moaned after she left. Kenzie's eyebrows furrowed and she turned to me.

"Wait, you really want to leave?"

I sat up, "Um, yeah! You aren't seriously considering staying, are you?"

She bit her lip, "Well..."

"You're joking. You're falling in love with a psychotic kidnapper who happens to have murderous tendencies. And is half wolf. I cannot believe you."

"I just think we should give them a chance, They obviously didn't mean to hurt us," She said.

My jaw dropped all the way to the floor. "What are you on?" Um, obviously they DID MEAN TO HURT US. This is it. It's come. Kenzie has finally lost it.

She put her foot down, "Look, it's only for say...a week. We give them a week and then, if we still want to go, we can leave."

I sighed. I guess I'd have to stay a little longer. I seriously could not believe this was happening. I was literally choosing to stay with the creepy, psychotic, half wolf guys who kidnapped me. Good lord.

We walked downstairs to see Ryan chatting with the guys. Luke smiled hopefully at us as we descended the staircase while Jason feigned disinterest. But I could tell he was hopeful as well.

"So, what have you decided?" Luke inquired.

I glared at him, "I don't know about Kenzie, but I decided to take that big ego of yours and shove it right up your-"

"I've decided to give you a chance," Kenz cut in, shooting me a look. Luke immediately ran up to her and picked her up, spinning her around. She quickly pushed him away, but that didn't dampen his smile.

Ugh, I felt my lunch about to make a reappearance.

Jason turned to me and said, "And you?"

I shrugged and said, "Nothing's been decided for me yet. But so long as Kenzie is here, I'll stay."

Jason grinned and ran over to possibly hug me, but I didn't let it get that far. I put a hand in from of me and said, "Not so fast. This is going to take a lot getting used to."

He smirked and responded, "Trust me. A few more days and you won't be able to resist me."

"Don't be getting an even bigger head now," I warned, but it seemed like nothing could dampen his smile.

What was my life coming to?
