Running around alleys, my body forced itself over the racket looking fence the blood rushing up my ears the beating of my heart racing with exitement it was any wonder it hasn't explored yet. Reaching out the nearest handle bar of complex bulidings I swang over running roofs before jumping off landing onto a dumpster scaring the homeless that slept half the nights of the noisy city.

Police pass by me its sirens burning my ears while stuffing myself into the furthest corner in one of the alleys before me.

" Blindless bustards." It was nearly a whisper towards my ears while I waited till the sirens were far enough away to come out of my hiding.

" Well, it isn't a surprise I see you in every corner, isn't Taro?"

The sound of someone jumping off one of the roofs onto the solid ground. My eyes narrowed before a smirk touched my lips." It's not like I'm staying home everyday. What are you doing here, Incho." It was more of a statement than a question. Incho flipped his blonde hair back from his tile orange eyes, the hood of his leather jacket barely covering his face if it wasn't for the black mask.

" As usual the cops can't catch your tongue on the loose. They should get fired." Incho confessed sourly like it was the most ridiculous thing he has ever heard." Don't denie the fact we're better than cops. Besides isn't Tila suppose to be with you?"

Incho rubbed the back of his neck nervously while giving off a humorless laugh that could be told that he was either lying or faking it. Either one said the same." We had an argument. I just need a break from 'which street-fighter video game is the best.'" I knew Incho was just joking around, guess that's what happens when your with someone for three years in a row bound to get annoying sooner or later.

" Aren't you two suppose to be all lovey-dovey with whatever cuddles you call them?" Incho scrowled walking to the racket fence pushing the open entrance in between bowing his head slightly before entering. Jumping off the blue droll dumpster I followed behind. Incho Fujimoto was one of my childhood best friends. He was known for his speed in running and his flexibility in body movement. He was a cocky flirtatious childish person with a sense of humor that couldn't be ignored. Of course I ignored it when we first met. He still hanged around just to get my approval to be his friend, like me, he was a only child to two divorce parents.

" Last time I saw Tila she was the psychopathic girlfriend who didn't leave your side since grade school." Incho sat on one of the low benches kicking his long legs out crossing them by the feet before crossing his arms in back of his head." Don't you think I know that? Its not like I'm cheating on her for crying out loud!" He accused opening one eye as I rolled my eyes out of habit.

" You better not or I'll rip your head off. Make that double since you left me alone when you promised to pick me up."

Speaking of said Tila, the she-devil has made her appearance.

Tila walked toward us jumping off the fence without coming into the entrance like her usual self. She wore her strapless low cut red farm shirt that reach down to her knees, combat boots that looked ripped at the edges, black tank-top, her amber blonde locks of hair pulled back in a tight up-do bun making her sapphire eyes glisten more around the light of the day. Incho sat up with a flinch looking up at Tila apologeticly.

" Sorry?. . ."

" Sorry isn't gonna cut it, jerk. You owe me a date this Friday."

Incho pouted childishly making Tila grin in satisfaction.

Tila Nishimura was another one of my closest childhood friends. She was obligated to annoy me when we we're younger obnoxiously worrying about her friends and family. She was known for cat-like reflexes she even acted like a cat from time to time. She was able to walk on edges of buildings without falling her balance was incredibly amazing and hard to believe. She was also able to hang from walls you would believe she was cat woman herself, her nails were claws and clawed at anyone whom dared to walk on our grounds. Her personality was almost even bipolar.

Tila was like cat-woman to people she didn't know or against her encounters in fights. But towards people she was close to she was careful and worrisome. Like a kitten.

It was odd but no one questioned it. Probably Incho.

" Hey Ikuto bebe, how're you doing?" She asked kissing my forehead Incho giving a pointed glare of jealousy to Tila's backside." Hey Til, not so cuddle-y now aren't you?" She smirked the tip of her black coffin nail poking at her black painted lips in thought." Pretty much. What's up with you plum eyes?" She teased as I groaned." I told you to stop calling me that." She shrugged carelessly sitting on Inchos lap kissing his cheek.

" Gross."

Tila gave me a cat-like toothy grin playing with her nails." With those plum eyes and that kind of dark amethyst hair will drive girls nuts." She spoke matter-of-factly Incho giving out a small chuckle." Remember Til, he doesn't date he hasn't even kissed a girl yet." He directed it more towards Tila than me. This only made me laugh bitterly." All you're love crap is sickening. By the way I have kissed a girl."

Tila shifted uncomfortably on Incho's lap frowning before grinning once more." I heard Robert is having a party in the club area, we should all go. All the lucky and single lady's will be there." The way she said single reminded me of the time we last went to a club together." Yeah nothing screams fun till you get drunk while a girl rubs up against you while her boyfriend watches. I'll pass."

" That was a mistake and you know it."

" Mistake my ass. You two were laughing your asses in the corner while taking pictures."

" Are you still mad about that?"

             " No."

" Sounds like it."

        " Nope not mad."

We all argued till it was about around the evening when we all stopped and just breathe for a while. With Tila's mouth she could become a lawyer, I never heard someone argue for hours over one subject.

" Come on Ikuto~ Its just one party. Its not like were stepping foot into any an other area." Tila perked up still continuing on with the arguement which only made me roll my eyes once more before pushing out against the brick wall in back of me with a sigh.

" Even if I said yes I wouldn't be able to go anyways."

Tila tilted her head in perplexity.

" Why is that?"

Incho jumped in this time raising a questioning brow. With a huff of a sigh I turned towards them with a shrug." My parents said something about sitting down and telling me something important. I skipped class earlier today, police caught onto me so I ran all the way here." Bending over my hand reached out to swing the lump of a black backpack over my shoulder as Tila pouted." Hope everything is alright. Its hardly that anything bad happens during those 'sit down important talks.'" Incho nodded grimly fully understanding what those kinds of situations felt like.

" I'll be back tomorrow. Don't miss me too much." With a saluted goodbye I jumped up onto one of the buildings using only my leg strength to get up there. Incho and Tila satuted goodbye as I ran down the top of buildings to get back home.

Drips of water ran down my face the fog of heat steaming the air around me while I laid my forehead against the coolness of the shower wall.

" Ikuto there's something important I need to speak to you tomorrow in the evening. Please don't miss out in school."

My mothers soft featherly voice rang in the back of my head. We may of had ups and downs during times of my childhood but it didn't make me hate her anymore than my stubborn actions when I was younger. Running a hand down my chest I scratched the tattoo that was in between my chest hatefully. It looked more like black lines curling around themselves for protection taking a form of a snake hiding its creature-like face around its tiles.

My teeth clenched behind my lips as I turned off the steaming water stepping out to a plain white towel wrapping it around my waist.

It was about eight thirty in the night since I climbed through my bedroom window instead of taking the front door so mother wouldn't catch me coming late, again. It wasn't a surprise that I came late at night from either fighting against another group gang members seeking a chance to gather what property we had to use it for themselves. Of course, if my mother knew I was in a gang she would have a heart attack and send me to church to beg for gods forgiveness.

Not a chance.

She never notice my disappearances or lack of school attention. Let's say I learned a thing or two how to hack into the schools system also running for my life in the process if a office-aid caught me.

With a huff of a sigh I slipped on a black tee over my head pulling the white towel underneath me away while slipping on a pair of dark jeans. Droplet's of shower water ran down my hair onto my t-shirt something that annoyed me as I rubbed the white towel on my hair rubbing out the water.

Knock knock.

" Ikuto? Are you in there?" My mothers voice asked in concern. I didn't bother to answer back as she opened the door to my bedroom cautiously in order not to disturb anything from my doing. Another thing we appreciate about each other; we respected each others privacy. She lean against the door her eyes wide with kind innocent what she calls 'saint.' We both had the same lavender hair and eyes, the glow of her soft creamy skin looking lotioned and glossy as always.

She looked like any house mother wife.

" Yeah, I'm here mother. Need me?" She bit her bottom lip nervously before giving me one of her sweet motherly smiles that warmed my heart at times." Uh. . . yes. . . if you can please come to the dining table to discuss what I had to talk about with you." Snagging the towel away I gave her a nod. She moved away from the door closing it in the process.

" Important talk huh?" it was a mumble under my lips talking to nothing in particular. The familiar ringtone of a death note quote rang from my iPhone that laid spirled around my bed. Searching around with my hand I touch the solid black cover pulling it away from the depth of my vermilion colored covers. My fingers rushed through my password code before it was opening up to my messages. A group chat that I was currently in with Incho and Tila sending photos what looked like a club party that Tila was arguing earlier today.

Tila: Your missing all the fun Ikuto. Too bad your talking to your parents. Wish you best of luck.

Incho: Yup, good luck!

Standing up with my phone in my hand I shoved it in my jean pocket walking out of my bedroom onto the lit hallway.

Our home wasn't any different from the others in the neighborhood. It was the normal Japanese modern looking houses with my mothers garden in the backyard. The kitchen lights were on signaling my mother was already in the dining room most likely cooking and waiting for my appearance.

Bare-footed I walked along the hallway towards the dining room where my suppose step-father sat, sitting in the table typing away on his charging apple laptop. He looked up stoically while I returned the expression. Normally I would of gave him one of my usual glares or sour looks but tonight my mother was discussing important that apparently involved me and him.

" Honey, remove the laptop from the table you don't want it to get it dirty now do you." My mother spoke nicely as she set a couple of snacks on the table along with homemade green tea. The smell scenting the air with a delicious aroma that made my head spin. He removed the laptop off the table throwing it on the knit sofa which made my brow twitch with irritation. He looked up at my mother with a soft smile like he didn't even notice what he did as well my blindless mother.

She passed me a mug of the green tea which I took with a slight nod steam writhing up from the mug.

" So what's all this important discussion we all need to talk about?" I aburtly got to the point of it all as the sliemce fell upon us. My step-father laid his hand on top of my mother smeller hand tightly as she looked worriedly at her husband before at me. She gave a shy smile reach out to the snacks she made." Son, would you like to eat something first? You look like you haven't eaten all day-"

" Mother."

Her shy smile left her lips replaced with the same nervous expression she kept giving off. What's so important that she could barely even look at me in the eye? My step-father squeezed her hand reassuring my worried mother that it was fine to say whatever she has to say.

" Um well dear. . . Me and your father-"

" Step-father." I corrected giving off a side glare to the men whom sat with us. My mother licked her lips." Stepfather, gotten good news from our local publisher. He offered us to do a news report on a current case that's happening. But to be able to do this case, we'll need to earn the approval of the headqurthers in the United States."

It was slient once again while my mind process this information." Okaay?~ congregations to both of you, I don't see the problem in you two leaving Japan for an job interview." I finally gave out my opinion my mother sighing softly." That's not all Ikuto." My mother added making me raised a eyebrow at that. What else could possibly there be?

" We're both staying there for two months, meanwhile, . . . we're sending you to your grandfathers all boys school. Its a very good school and with your low education it'll level up your grades." This made me stop sipping the green tea before I was spiting it into the mug slamming into the table." What!?"

My mother squeezed her eyes shut like she already expected me to lash out. Of course I'm going to lashout, how am I suppose to act!? Like rainbows puked over hills!? I beg to differ!

" What do you mean your sending me to an all boys school!? A all boys school! And grandfather!? I don't even know him!" My voice boomed on the walls making it echo sure enough the neighbors heard my loud voice.

My mother was known as Akemi Taro a local Japanese news reporter whom was good at her job. That's where she met my step-father; EIji Shizuka. The the asshole was her partner in crime during reports one day they both decide to have a coffee than not even after a year they've gotten married. It was stupid of them. Me and EIji never gotten along since Akemi introduce him to me. Yes, very childish and ignorant of me but it was a habit that couldn't rub off my chest. As while I didn't like his attire or his charming words. They were all words with no meaning.

" Watch that language young man! Your mother is having a hard time telling you this so I'll rather shut that ugly mouth of yours and listen, for once." EIji commanded while my head snapped towards him giving him one of my sour glares that promise a fight later.

" I rather you shut your mouth! You are not my real father nor will I ever earn your respect! Mother I'm not going to that school and thats final." Akemi looked near to tearing up at my words as she wiped a hand down her face looking up at me with those eyes that begged me to agree to her terms.

" Ikuto. . . please do this. It'll-"

" It won't do anything because I'm not going. Your disrespecting my trust into staying here in the house while your out. What will I do while your out anyway? I have Tila and Incho to go to-"

" Please, you'll do anything rackless like all you teenagers do. If you don't go to church classes you'll end up like a bum and that's when god won't help yo-"

" Shut it with all your god BS. This is between me and my mother. Your irrelevant. "

" Want to shut that mouth up or will you need a beating?"

" Go ahead I'm sure I could kick your old a** any day now."

" Stop it!"

My mother shouted at both of us glaring slightly. We both stayed silent it. Akemi barely raised her voice to anyone she was always kind and gentle always made she to keep her calm when things got to caught up into the stress or moment. She looked over at EIji with a small glare." Would you leave the dining room so I could discuss with my son alone? It won't take long." My eyes rolled at that crossing my arms around my chest as EIji clenched his teeth before leaving the dining room.

Akemi turned towards me with one of her motherly glares.

" Ikuto. . . Would you keep that temper in check. You know very well not to lash out in front of me as well use nasty language in this household. EIji suggested that we send you over to my fathers all boys school. I am not saying I don't trust you, I know very well your caple of many things your becoming a young adult and not a child, I understand that. But like you said you never met my father it'll be a great time to get to know him."

" Yeah I see the picture but your forgot one fact mother, I don't get along with strangers. Even family at that."

Akemi heaved a sigh walking in front of me looking up at me since she was smaller than I am. She searched my eyes while I tried to avoid them. Her hand reached out tugging a lock of hair behind my ear before stroking my cheek." Please Ikuto? Its only two months. After that you could discipline your step-father as pong as you want." She offered with a soft smile. I stared down at her with a frown before rolling my eyes and groaning out loud.

" Fine. . . I'll go."

Akemi smiled brightly kissing my forehead before sending me off to bed.

Closing my bedroom door I leaned against it sighing heavily raking a frustrated hand through my hair before looking at the darkness of my room. All the events that just happened replayed repeatly over in my head processing the information my mother have given me, than at the answer I have given her.

Two months.

My phone vibrated as I pulled it out looking into the messages seeing Incho and Tila smile at the camera happily having a good time at Roberts party. I ran my fingers on my screen at the photo a frown touching my
