Ellie is busy packing her clothes, she received a phone call from Mhel a while ago concerning one of their clients, and her mind drifted to their conversation.

"Hello." She answered when she saw the caller.

"Hey Ellie, I know you are on vacation, but we need you here right now! The wedding of Mr. Richards' daughter had been rescheduled, and it is earlier than the supposed date." Mhel proceeded in explaining without too much greetings.

"They rescheduled?" She cannot helped but ask and added. "I thought they are already sure of the date with how many things they had to consider."

This client of them - the bride, had been so specific and detailed with everything. Well it is acceptable to be that detailed and specific because it's her wedding, but she wants that the flowers in the venue - a garden, should be in full bloom during the ceremony. As per the gardener taking care of the place, the flowers will start to bloom a month from now. So a sudden rescheduling and earlier at that, caused her to question everything.

"Yes they did." Mhel answered.

"Why?" she asked frowning.

"Because they just found out that the bride is already carrying and she doesn't want to walk down the aisle with a baby bump." Mhel answered and she can only imagine her rolling her eyes because of the sudden changes.

Yeah, if she is already showing by that time, she needs to adjust the bride's gown, for she wanted it to be fit that must showcase the curves of her body, the bride's very own words.

She took a deep breath before speaking.

"Okay Mhel, I am coming. I'll just pack my things. See you later."

"Okay, I'll wait in your shop. Have a safe trip"

"Thanks."

So here she is, diligently packing. Good thing though that she only brought little, so her clothes and personal stuffs fit into her small luggage. After finishing, she went down and put her bag by the door.

"Ellie, where are you going? Why do you have your luggage bag?" Alessa's voice startled her that she almost jump. She slowly turned towards the elder woman and smiled, though the other did not return it. Alessa is staring intently at her things, as if it is going to attack her anytime.

Before she could answer her first question, she added another one.

"Are you bringing the kids with you?" Alessa asked in almost a whisper.

She shook her head and immediately cleared everything up before it escalates quickly.

"No, I am not leaving - well, technically yes. A problem came up that I must face, so I need to go back. But I am not bringing the kids. Can I leave them here for a while? If it's okay." She said in a rapid manner that made Alessa speechless.

"You're not leaving my son, are you?"

She was taken aback at Alessa's question. How will she answer it? Well, they already slept together, many times in fact during the last days or nights, but they are not back together to merit her 'leaving him', right? She shook her head mentally to clear away those questions.

"Well Alessa, it is work-related and my friends needed me there. I haven't finished the gown that my client ordered and the wedding is in two days, so we're in a fix. I badly needed to go back. Can I leave the kids here?" Her long explanation.

"Oh, is that so?" Alessa's face immediately brighten. "Of course you can leave the kids here." she added clapping.

Speaking of kids, the twins came barrelling from outside.

"Momma!" The twins shouted in unison and both hugged her.

"Good morning momma!" they chorused, both with a happy gleam on their faces, but it immediately dampen when they noticed the bag beside the door.

"Are we leaving momma?" Ally asked, her eyes already misty.

"No, we're not leaving, yet." She answered while kneeling to get to their height.

"Then why is there a luggage bag? Whose it is?" Nate queried with a frown.

"That's mine. I need to leave because your aunt Mhel called, something came up and I have to be there. Okay?" She explained to them nicely.

"So, it will only be for a while?" Ally asked, sniffing.

"Yes, once the problem has been solved, momma will come back right away, okay? So don't be sad." She said sweetly while hugging her kids.

"Just stay here with your papa, grandma and grandpa okay?" She added which the twins answered with a nod.

"I love you both." She said while kissing them.

"We love you too momma," they replied while hugging and kissing her back.

"But you both need to behave, okay?" She reminded them sternly.

The twins giggled before answering, "Yes momma!"

"Okay, I need to go now." She said while standing up. She then turned to Alessa and bid her goodbye.

"What if you wait for Ethan to accompany you?" She heard her say.

"Err - I really need to go back as soon as possible and I know he is kinda busy. I will just send him a message," she hurriedly said. It is true that he is busy, he left yesterday with Ollie, also work-related. Alessa stared at her intently because of what she said, scrutinizing her until she almost squirmed. Good thing a car honked outside.

"That must be the cab." She said while hurriedly picked up her things, but not before she hugged and kissed the twins.

"Take care momma." Ally said teary-eyed.

"We love you momma." Nate added.

"I love you too, both of you. Momma will come back as soon as we're finish, okay?" She reminded them.

Alessa and the kids accompanied her into the cab. She then said goodbye to Alessa and went inside. Keeping her head forward, she refused to look back while the cab is driving away.

"Why the rush?" Ethan heard his brother asked while he is driving more than the speed limit. Good thing there aren't many cars in the road. Ollie is with him to check a house for renovation, they left the other day, though it was only more than twenty-four hours since he last saw Ellie and the kids, it felt like a lifetime already. He misses them and sleeping alone on the bed feels different without Ellie by his side. He took a deep breath when he saw Ollie staring so he answered his question.

"I want to go home as fast as we can."

His answer brought a smirk on Ollie's face.

"Missing your woman, eh?" He heard him tease, which is a good thing, he is slowly returning to his old self. He will gladly accept all the teasing he will haul his way as long as he will not see again the Ollie who woke up from the hospital after he went missing and he is thanking whatever caused this sudden return of his old self.

"Of course!" he answered with a scoff.

"Glad you found her already Eth, and with twins. I am happy for you." Ollie said smiling.

"Thanks man," he answered simply. They may grew up already, him and his brothers, and all of them have lives of their own, it will not change the fact that they are brothers, they will always be there for each other, just like before.

Their drive was filled with chatters of everything and anything under the sun until they arrived at their town.

"Drop me off at my house Eth." Ollie instructed him which made his brows furrowed.

"I thought you will be staying in our house," he asked, mildly curious.

"Nah, you stay there with mom and dad and your family. I'll just drop by one of these days." Ollie answered.

"You are keeping something from us." He cannot stop himself from commenting. The statement is more of a statement than a question, and he feared Ollie might get upset because it is as if he is fishing for information, but instead he grinned, a full blown grin and his eyes are even twinkling with mirth. He saw the Ollie he knew since small - he saw his little brother in this full grown man.

He dropped him off by his house and did not commented on anything. Ollie thanked him and went inside, and he went home to their parent's house.

All the lights are out, considering it is almost midnight. He went to the twins' room and kissed them, then went to his room and plopped down on the bed, a nagging feeling kept on entering his mind but due to exhaustion, his mind cannot process it until sleep immediately took over.

Ethan woke up with the sun already creeping inside his room. He immediately got up and did his morning ritual. He heard the twins' chatter while he went down the stairs and followed it to the kitchen.

"Good morning!" he greeted everyone when he is already at the threshold, the twins immediately jumped off from their chair and rushed towards him, both arms are open for a hug.

"Papa!"

He kissed and hugged them both equally, then gave his parents a good morning hug as well.

"Sit, I will serve you your breakfast." His mother instructed him which he promptly obeyed. She served him pancakes and coffee. He was about to put a forkful of pancakes when he noticed something.

"Where is Ellie?"
