August 8, 8:41 am.

Cameron just texted me. He told me he won't be able to go to school because he had caught the flu. Great. Just plain great. My days as a hobo have officially returned. I just don't feel like dressing up for school. It's not that I'm depressed or anything like that, I just don't find any reason to dress up or wear make up, that's all. I mean, if you compared me now with the person I was some months ago, I'd tell you that I'd wore makeup because you also went to school. And since I wanted to impress you, I wore it everyday. Now I can finally see it. I don't need to call someone's attention for that someone to like me. If they don't like me for who I am, it just means that they're not meant to be in my life.

I'm not saying this in some weird, goody-two-shoes way or something like that. I'm saying that, because I can finally see that it's absolutely and completely true. I won't change myself for anyone. I won't fight for anyone's attention. I can't and I sure as hell won't. If someone wants to be in their life, they'll accept me with the whole package.

I think that the awakening of beauty is when you finally start to accept yourself. It doesn't matter if your nose is a little crooked or if you don't have the longest eyelashes you've always dreamt of having. I guess it's simply embracing your flaws. You can dress yourself up and it doesn't necessarily have to be for a boy or for the people arund you, but for yourself. Because you feel comfortable in that outfit or with that certain makeup.

I just think that life is way too short to think that a brand new lipstick or some more layers of mascara can hide a rotten personality inside.

Heeey beautiful rocking people!

There's a picture of Stephanie here. She isn't a pack of bones and she doesn't have everything that's considered to be pretty nowadays. She's normal, because that's how most girls are, normal. Most of them aren't born with a big butt, collarbones and a skinny waist. Some of them are just beautiful by what they are.

Xx, Jas.
