July 18, 7:44 pm.

Oh, Lord. I have to stop giving in so easily. I woke up, and mom and dad told me that your parents had invited us to come over. I facepalmed myself. Dad said that your mom wanted to make a reunion, since it had been a couple of time since the adults hadn't met. I tried to convince mom for me to stay home with Bella, but she denied and denied everytime. So then, I was forced to go. I tried at least asking her if Cameron could come. She told me that it was something more personal, and that it wasn't proper for him to come. Growling and scowling, I walked up to my room and managed to fix myself. I took a shower, put on a pair of shorts, a Beatles loose shirt and some flats. I put on a little bit of concealer, some mascara and a layer of eyeliner. An hour later, I was downstairs already. Great. It was going to be like old times, but somehow, that was the last thing I wanted to happened. I was finally beginning the slow process of moving on. I didn't need to see him to remind me of everything we went through. We all got in the car and dad starting driving. Some minutes later, we were there.

Your mom was already in the front of the house, with her old apron that she always used to wear. She hugged mom and dad, and then she walked up to me.

"Stephanie!" She exclaimed cheerfully. "You're so big! Wow! It seems last time I saw you, you would come over to play Monopoly with Tyler." She smiled.

Awkwardly, I thanked her and sat uncomfortably on the couch. Mom went to help your mom with the kitchen and dad went to talk to your dad in his office. It was one of the moments which I hated. I didn't know what to do. I was feeling awkward in a place I used to call my second home some years ago. I took my cellphone out of my pocket and started just messing around with it, something I do when I don't know what to do.

And then, Aiden walked in. I had never really truly talked to your older brother. Whenever I came over, he always would just lock himself on his room all day. He was shirtless and his eyes widened as soon as he saw me.

"Stephanie?" He raised his eyebrows in shock.

"Hey, Aiden." I smiled.

"Wow," He whispered to himself. "You're like, super big, right?" He asked. "The only memory I have of you is incentivating Tyler to throw his meatballs in my face." He laughed.

I shifted uncomfortably in the couch but let out a laugh.

"Yeah," I mumbled.

"You want me to call Tyler?" he asked, letting out a sly smile.

I shook my head almost automatically. He let out a smirk and walked back to his room. I put my earphones on and started listening to In My Veins by Andrew Belle. Approximately a minute later, you showed up. Shirtless, with only a pair of shorts.

Gosh. What is it with the Scott brothers that they always have to be shirtless?

"Stephanie?" your eyes widened as soon as you saw me.

I faked a small smile. "Hey," I said.

"Wow! Uh, what are you doing here?" you asked.

"Uh, your mom invited us over..." the words came out of my mouth almost unheard by me.

"She didn't even tell me," You laughed.

"And I shouldn't have come." I whispered, uncertain if he had heard me or not.

"Why? You used to love coming here," You told me, sitting down on the couch beside me.

"Yeah, I guess everything changes," I managed to force another smile.

"You know? I was here sitting one day and just thinking. Remember that time that I had the habit of wiping boogers on the wall?" you started laughing. "And then one day my dad saw it, and you wanted to save me because you thought he was going to punish me. So then you told me to hide inside the bathroom's closet, since I was small and I was able to stay there. You distracted that and I stayed in that closet for at least two hours?" You asked, still laughing like a fool.

I couldn't help but join you in the laughing. I saw the way your dimples crinkled whenever you smiled. You may have turned into everything he said he'd never be, but something is true and I can't deny it. We have history together. We have a load of years of history.

"You were so weird back then," I chuckled.

"And you'd always find a way to save me with your tricks, you little smartass." You smiled. "We made a great team."

Yeah, we did. But you managed to destroy everything that was left of it.

On that same moment, your mom and my mom walked into the room. They were carrying trays filled with tacos and cups of Coke.

"Here's our snack," Mrs. Scott said, with a big smile on her face.

"Yum," You moaned dramatically.

"Oh, I see you two finally are catching up." Your mom told us, looking over at my mom and throwing her a sly smile.

"Yeah," you told them.

"Stephanie, you should come over more oftenly. The time you have been distant from us, Tyler has brought home a girl that doesn't like my apple pie with whip cream. She said there was too many carbs. She said the same thing about my strawberry milkshake. She may be on a diet, buy one thing is true, a girl's gotta eat. We can't live a life based on salad." Mrs. Scott started, placing her hand on her hip.

"Mom, we already talked about this." Tyler said, feeling clearly uncomfortable.

"Yes, but son, I know most as a mother. And you both look so cute together," She stated, making me just as uncomfortable as you. "I remember when you two were little kids and Tyler was in love with you. Literally. He would always come home and tell me how he loved being with you and how gorgeous your hair was." Your mother laughed.

I frowned. I did not know about that.

"Mom," You said, your cheeks were already a dark shade of crimson. "Those are lies." You lied, scratching the back of your neck.

You were nervous, so you were definitely lying.

"Oh, no, sweetheart. I even remember when we went to Disney when you were thirteen, you went on every store there was to buy her the gold bracelet you gave her." Mrs. Scott smiled at me. Your cheeks were burning red, and you just avoided eye contact at all costs.

Biting my lip, I looked at my wrist. It was the same bracelet you had given me when we were thirteen and you had just gotten back from Orlando. I had never taken it off of me. I always wore it. You told me that he just found it on a regular basic little store, and that it was just a bijou, not that it was actually made if gold. Now I finally get why it never rusted while I wore it during my shower.

"I always pictured the two of then together." Mother entered the conversation. "But now, each of them has their little petit ami." She giggled.

"What?" You asked, raising an eyebrow up.

"Oh, Stephanie didn't tell you? She has just started dating that nice boy with the beautiful eyes." Mom informed you.

Your eyes grew wide open. Your mouth was slightly aghast. Your eyes turned to me.

"You're dating Carter?" you asked.

"It's Cameron," I corrected you.

"Oh, I didn't know you were dating him." You said, facing the floor.

"Yep," I whispered.

"Oh," You muttered.

The next thing we knew, we were eating tacos and remembering everything I wish I could finally get over.

The truth is that we have history together. And it's something that can't be erased that easily.
