"You can't forgive what you can't forget."

"Why the fuck are you here?"

Though Xerus had spoken, Athena simply heard the first word since his voice was stifled, suppressed and low, appearing like he was refraining her from perceiving him.

In actuality, he was.

Being the son of an illegally wealthy family, he never was or needed to be afraid of the ugly medias, mafias or rich potent companies that wanted to ruin him to crisp.

He wasn't intimidated by anything under the Sun, for in his eyes, there existed only one brilliant, magnificent, glowing medallion and it happened to be the bewildered raven haired girl before him.

"Umm... I'm sorry. Can you repeat that? I wasn't really listening," She tucked her hair behind her ears, bringing her head closer to him, afraid she might misheard him again and this time he would become the walking definition of livid.

Unknown to her, her presence itself made the beast fanatical.

"Who the fuck let you in?! You aren't suppose to be here! I fucking took your name out!" Xerus yelled, his eyes somehow weren't courageous enough to look at her face. It only shifted around her body.

He didn't know what or how to feel.

The embedded feelings that he had carefully, forcibly buried beneath the seabed was now erupting, larger than ever, yet he fought it.

Nothing made sense to Athena. Why was she famed in the society of the famous?

First, it was the other Thieves' members, then it was Theo, her Prince, and she wasn't complaining about that but it followed by Thea, the sister, and even brought the recognition of the leader at present.

Her destiny must have been so unfortunate and lucky at the same time.

"I'm sorry? I got through the registration counter and paid just like everyone else and what do you mean take my name out? I don't have any criminal records and I haven't harm the school's name as far as I know. So..." She defended herself all the while shaking her head, denying every illicit things there might be.

For the first time, the unnerving sensation that coursed through her veins every time Xerus was with her, started to deflate, convinced that she was finally sinless this round.

She shrugged, supposing innocently, "You may have gotten the wrong person?"

Xerus' head perked up, so was his vital organs. He tore his sunglasses off of his face as his turbulent, explosive eyes drilled into hers, desperately wishing he had heard her wrongly.

"What the fuck did you say?! You and I go way back and you fucking know it," Xerus' tone was invariable, albeit within was the other side of the coin.

Athena squinted her eyes incredibly hard, so densed that her teeth started showing, exerting herself into the clever side of her brain and think to a great degree.

But, wait.

The Viper that she was interacting with was no ordinary serpent who glides the soil, even if he does, people would rather be his soil so he could trample them over, and they'd be honoured.

So surely, she'd be one of those people if they had gone way back as he claimed and oh, most surely she would have had remember him.

"Sorry, but I'm probably too common looking that I look just like anyone else so I can't really blame you for mistaking me as someone else,"she tried again, hugging the burger and fries tighter in her arms, so much that its oil started flooding in its pack as she waited for him to excuse her, until he didn't.

"Are you fucking kidding me?! How the fuck are you lying after what we have been through?!"

Athena's brain cells had randomized. "Huh? Been through what?"

"Stop pretending!" The anger from Xerus' eyes showed the scared younger self he was, hotter than lava, churning and swirling, aching for ruination.

He didn't mean to wreck anyone, he just needed an object, but Athena's bemusement in which he thought was pretense, pushed him to the edge, blinding him in scorching lights of harrowing memories, and he lunged forward.

"Xerus, stop! Someone help!" Thea, from the other side of the room rushed to him, grappling him despite knowing her strength compared to him was as useless as a glass hammer.

Ace was second to hold him back, pulling and combating the big surge of energy Xerus really had. "Dude, stop it! You will hurt her!"

Xerus could hardly listen to himself let alone other people. "Talk, Athena! Why the fuck did you come here?! To fucking devastate me again?! Watch me drop dead to my knees?! Come here to laugh at me?!" Xerus snapped, nearly ripping his throat from yelling, even almost breaking down in front of many.

The Great Xerus.

On his knees?

Just who was this, Athena Rose?

"What are you guys standing there for?! Come help hurry!" Thea plead.

The student was torn between listening to Thea, the girl they all loved or contradicting Xerus by grasping his exalted arms, but studying the situation, a person's life was in danger and they all may have a chance to have a feel of the King's arm which was quite a win-win situation so all forty-eight went for it.

Athena had so much more paths than clues. She hadn't the slightest idea who Xerus was and at this point, she could might as well not know herself.

He had affirmed so aggressively that she ruined his past, but how or why?

Even she would like to know the answer.

Trepidation, apprehension, consternation, sitted perfectly on her face, smothering her, making her blue, purple.

"I- I don't understand. I only came here to further my studies. I don't e-even know you," she stuttered along her words with blurry eyes, not from tears but from how feral Xerus was moving, seeming like one of an encaged being in a grim precinct for several years had gone out for riot.

"Athena, why the heck are you still explaining?! Move! Get out of here!" Ace scolded, guiding her with his eyes to the exit while heaving Xerus' very sturdy body.

At this point, what's the use of keeping her name a secret anymore?

Fifty people was holding Xerus down, sitting, laying, even crashed on him.

Regardless, he was still on his feet, slowly but steadily advancing towards Athena.

"GET OFF OF ME! FUCK!" Xerus was going berserk, his figure looked beyond unruly that the students got so alarmed, they had forgotten the person they were handling was Xerus, who owned everything.

They tramped and squashed him flat, the tables had turned, the bully had now became the victim.

The whole gym room resembled a zombie apocalypse out of a dystopian movie and Athena fled.
