"I think it's important that you go and pack, my sweet (Y/n). Don't you agree?"

"Now...?" You were nervous to say the least, still not being able process this. Moving in with four slashers, keeping their secret, protecting your mother - all whilst you try to act natural and pretend nothing happened? What about your psychology classes? What about your friends? What were you going to do?

"Sooner rather than later is considerably more beneficial, don't you think?" Hannibal quoted in a friendly manner, taking a few steps towards you.

Without thinking, you automatically took one step back and felt your body tense up; still traumatised by all of them. They almost killed your mother without a care in the world, they all confessed their obsessive love towards you, and they all acted so...so possessive. "I...I suppose so. I'm going to go and pack by myself." You regained some of your composure and took a deep breath, beginning to walk out of the living room.

"W-Wait-!" Norman hurried to your side and grasped your wrist with both hands, "Please, oh please let me come with y-you. I-I c-can...I-I c-can help-! A-And keep you company too-!" You were going to reject him, but the desperate gleam in his eyes and his pleading begs changed your mind.

"I...well I guess you can tag along." You sighed, allowing the dark-haired teen to hold your hand and follow you into the hallway.

Silence settled between you both; you not wanting to talk and Norman probably too shy to strike up a proper conversation. But once you'd gone upstairs and opened the door to your bedroom, Norman stopped and looked around. "T-This is your bedroom-?"

"Mhm." You dipped your head, "Why do you ask?" You wondered as you made your way towards your wardrobe, pulling the suitcase down from the top of it.

"I-It's just so...just so nice." The timid male complimented shyly, "S-So pretty. I...I r-really, r-really like it." You felt nervous when his breathing became a bit ragged and his twitching returned, making him look a little unstable. Was he about to—?

"Norman...?" You hesitantly called his name, placing the suitcase on your bed and turning to face him. "Are you feeling alright...?"

"I-I really like y-you as well-!" He told you in a low and excited voice; walking straight into your bedroom and engulfing you in a tight hug, growing more and more in-love with you by the minute. No...the second. "I-I love you so, so much, (Y-Y/n). I...I do, I-I do, I really really do-!"

"I...I appreciate it, but—"

"P-Please tell me you feel the same-! I-I know you love me too-!" Norman cut you off and cuddled you harder, clinging to you like a child as he smiled brightly. "M-Mother told me y-you did-! O-Oh, I-I'm so happy-!"

"Hey, hey, let's slow down now." You placed your hands on his shoulders and gently moved him back, trying to calm yourself - and Norman -  down. But after everything that had happened - and was still going on - it was immensely difficult. "I...I'm flattered, really, but I...I can't decide how I feel on the spur of the moment. Especially not after what just happened before."

"B-But...B-But..." Norman looked betrayed, his eyes constricting and looking incredibly unhinged right now. "But Mother said so! Y-You have to love me too-! N-No! You do-! I-I know you do-!"

You were about to respond, but Norman's hands curled around both of your wrists, his betrayed expression switching to a brighter one. W-What the...? "O-Oh (Y/n), you're so silly-!" His genuine, happy-go-lucky attitude threw you off entirely; surprised by how cheerful he now was. "M-Making jokes like that. Y-You really got me-! P-Please don't do it again though, y-you scared me a little."

There was nothing you could say, realising that - at the moment - Norman's mental state was too erratic to calm down and bring back to reality. "Um...right..." You trailed off, trying to change the topic, "So uh, didn't you say you wanted to help me...? Like with packing and stuff...?" You pulled your wrists out of Norman's grasp and turned towards your suitcase, unzipping it.

"Y-Yeah-! W-We can do it together, l-like a team-!" He seemed happier - which was confusing you. "I-It's what couples do, right? T-They always do things like this t-together-! Right?"

Ignoring your unsettled thoughts, you opened your wardrobe and collected clothes; fitting as many as you could into the suitcase. After you'd done that, you put in other necessities - like your deodorant, your hairbrush, and so on. Norman sat on the end of your bed and watched you, wondering what he could do to help. "S-So how can I help-? I-Isn't there anything I can do-?" He spoke in a dejected tone, making you feel bad.

To be totally honest, you didn't really need any help with packing - but your sympathy for his sorrowful face toyed with your thoughts. "You...You just being here is helping, Norman." You flashed a fake smile at him, "You said you'd keep me company and you have, so thank you. I'm...very grateful."

"I-I'm so glad y-you enjoy my company, (Y-Y/n)." Norman's cheeks glowed pink as he smiled widely again. "A-Are you almost ready-? I-I mean, I'm just so happy that y-you're coming to stay with us." His remark made you think back to before, and your fake-happiness faded away - leaving behind your real feelings.

"You're happy I'm coming to stay with you guys, huh?" Your voice was quiet, Norman only just being able to catch what you'd said.

"O-Of course I am—!"

"—Even though you hurt my mom and caused me a huge amount of pain?" You flatly questioned, causing him to freeze.

"W-Well, it...it's true that I felt bad about it..." Norman stared down at the floor for a moment, feeling very ashamed. Then, he quickly looked back up. "B-But Hannibal s-said it was the o-only way-!"

"The only way? To what? What did you all have to gain?" You asked coolly, zipping your suitcase back up before looking at him.

"H-He said that this was the only w-way to g-get you to agree." Norman mumbled, "B-But I promise y-you'll be happy-! W-We all love you ever so m-much-!" He added in a lighter tone, giving you another loving hug after you'd set your suitcase down on the floor.

"And you know," You jumped when two hands held your shoulders - one being a knifed glove. "None of this would've happened if you'd just agreed in the first place." Freddy spoke against your neck innocently - though you could hear the deviousness dripping through his tone.

"Excuse me?" You retorted; unable to believe what you'd just heard.

"If you'd have accepted what we wanted from the start, your mother wouldn't have gotten hurt." He smoothly continued, his words cutting into you while he purposely tried to make you feel bad.

"No, that's—"

"So I guess what I'm saying is," The dream demon paused for a moment - moving his lips to your ear, "It was technically your fault." He murmured cruelly, a small smirk spreading across his burnt facial features.

"F-Freddy, leave her alone-!" Norman tried to intercede, "S-Stop being so...so mean-!"

"No...that's...that's not true..." You whispered defiantly, blinking away the hurt tears and trying to defend your previous actions.

"Your mother's hurt because you didn't listen to us. Because you let it happen. God, she could've died because of you." Freddy wickedly carried on, knowing that you were close to emotionally breaking down.

"Stop it...just...just stop it." You spun around and shoved him away from you, shaking with slight anger as you clenched your fists. "That's not true! So just stop! For god's sake, haven't you done enough!?" You shouted at him, grabbing the handle of your suitcase and moving towards the door. "Just leave me alone already!" With that said, you slammed the door shut and wheeled your suitcase downstairs; feeling tremendously unstable yourself now.
