We picked up a scent towards the edge of the woods closer to this little town with humans.
Making sure to hide our scents just in case.

"They did this on purpose" Nicolas stated

"Why would they be out here with humans when they know they're about to get cau....ohhhhhhhhh"
I said

"They think that them being here is gonna stop us but it's not"

He mind linked everyone
"They can be everywhere so split into groups of fours and twos. Once you have found them mind link me with directions. MOVE OUT" 

Nicolas,Dylan,another guy (his name is Brian) and I were together.

Dylan is so confused on why we are looking for our parents and why they ran away but he does his job.
I didn't tell him because I wanted to be completely sure and I wanted them to tell us together.

We are still looking around. The scent was there but it fades in and out.
We are everywhere. Some are keeping lookout by the woods. Some are even inside of stores and restaurants. We are so discreet and everyone is wearing a hoodie or umbrella all different colors to not seem suspect because it's raining super heavy.
My team well we are still walking everywhere until I catch a glimpse of an old motel. This is so cliché it's almost to good to be true. Like how dumb do you have to be to hide in a motel. That's literally where criminals go. my "parents" couldn't be that dumb. But they are that dumb.

I mind link my group
"Be discreet and look at that motel"

Dylan "oh that's so cliché let's try it"

Nicolas mind links everyone and told them to meet at the motel. But told those in the woods to stay there.

We are making our way to the motel and hear commotion. Two people check each room. Some stayed down to surround the building but other went onto the roof. There is no way to escape from the back because there are no door or windows back there.
We went the last door where we heard the commotion more people came with us though. But the commotion died down that's when we heard the most annoying thing on planet earth. It was like a small ringing to our ears. I cover my ears with tears running down my face. I slowly but surely started to get a migraine. That's when Nicolas growled and kicked open the door and I saw my "parents". A button was in my "mothers" hand. But she threw at me and they both shifted. So they shifted. I didn't and Dylan didn't because we had multiple syringes in our pocket that contains propofol.

They started fighting in this certain situation they don't care if you are a girl if you are a threat then you are toasted.

Nicolas is fighting my dead beat ass dad and Dylan is hovering over them trying to put the syringe in him. I hover over my sad excuse of a mother with the syringe while Brian is fighting her. He tackled her and I ran over there to put the syringe in. Once I did she growled and passed out changing into her human form. Look I never ever want to see an old woman naked ever. I look up and they did the same over there.

*back at the pack house*

We are waiting for them to wake up which might take a while so I decided to take a long hot shower.

After my shower I brush my teeth then put on lotion and deodorant.

I choose my outfit and it's something simple but cute.

(Forget the bag)

And I put on white ankle socks and white converse.

For my hair all I did was leave it curly.

I went to the kitchen to find something to eat when I got a mind link from Nicolas telling me that my mom was starting to wake up. I instantly run to the cells in the basement.
I see guards standing all around and I make my way towards their cell.

Nicolas looks at me and says "are you sure you wanna talk to them now"

"Yes I'm sure"

Dylan looks at me and says "can I go with you"

I nod my head yes

We walk in and they are on the wall arms and legs in an X.
I look at her and ask "am I adopted" she looks up slowly and spits in my face. I wipe it off and punch her.
"Am I adopted"
She smirks and says "you're a rape baby"
I stare at her at in disbelief
"What are you talking about"
"You're father rapped a young girl named jasmine after I had Dylan she used to live here until she got pregnant.
She's just like you. And she is also a winged wolf. There was news about her being pregnant. I guess your father waited until she gave birth and took you."

"But you are mates why would you let him cheat and then take him back"?

"Sweetie I cheated on him first"

This family is fucked up!

"Is she still alive"? I questioned

"Im not sure and I don't know where she is"

"Why did you tell me this so easily"

"I hate him but I stood by him because of the mate bond he wouldn't let me leave him"

The tears started to escape

That's when I stormed out of the cell
Nicolas called my name but I just needed some time alone.

I went upstairs in my room under the covers and cried.
It's no way she could be lying.
I can't believe he rapped my mother I feel so bad.

My bedroom door opened and I could tell that it was Nicolas. He sat on my bed.
"LelaAnn talk to me" he said using his alpha voice.
I sit up and look at him with my wet ass eyes and say
"Nobody wanted me besides my momma and I don't even know her. He took me away from her and who knows I could've had a better life"!

"Lela I'm not going to lie to you. You maybe could've had a better life but what you are not gonna do is sit here and think about what could've been. you are gonna get up and start doing things to better your future Lela"!

I stare at him for a long time and I don't know what has gotten into me but I kissed him.

That kiss was like heaven. One kiss turned into like a lot. We stopped to catch our breath and we looked at each other.

"Lela can we please just give us a try"?

I think about it for a minute.

I mean should I?

I look at him and say "we can try"!
