-------------------------------------------

"Choti we must go...This is actually a very bad idea."

Sneha nudged her terrifyingly as she meekly analysed the surrounding with a hesitated nervous gaze where Akshay was supposed to come almost half an hour before. Nevertheless, she was being ignored completely.

They were on a cliff situated around 75kms distance from the commotion of Mayanagri.

The cold breezes blew amidst the enhanced lush view of the surrounding due to recent raining. The sun was near its horizon, providing a pleasant look of beautiful colour in the sky. The birds were flying in the sky and even their chirping could be heard among the branches of the trees around, where a few of them were settled for a transient rest. It would turn totally dark in an hour or two.

But the emotions the sisters felt now was anything but peace, despite such smoothening scenery. Even though Radhika was neither mentioning nor showing her serious suspicions but she too felt uneasy, anticipating his move this evening. She felt it was a do or die situation for herself.

Sneha's concerned gaze noticed Radhika who had been letting all her anger out at the commissioner for the carelessness in security from their side days ago and plotting the next plan with a warning of no blunder.

It was understood that Akshay didn't even care about the courts and its proceedings now. He had realized his case was already too weak to handle.

Thus he had decided to do as much as destruction he could to do her family before he could get any legal punishment. Anyone could sense it.

And here Radhika's sheer anger made her present herself to him in a silver platter voluntarily. She huffed at her oblivion.

After a few more minutes of furious discussion, Radhika cut the call and heave a sigh in frustration, running her fingers in her hair with closed eyes and prominent thin lines of anxiety on her forehead.

Sneha took this silence as an opportunity to again make her understand how childish she was being. Being an elder, she had to make her understand what a stupid game she was trying to play whose end could only be death.

If he got any idea about it, he must not leave any second to end her life. Well, either way too, the possibility of returning home safely from here was almost nil. She didn't care about herself but her. She had known him for years. He was very dangerous and destructive.

"Please return. Despite his notoriety, you are doing it. He might use this chance to...." Sneha tugged Radhika's right hand in hers and implored once more to change her mind before his arrival. She looked at her fearful face and took a deep sigh. Radhika kept her freed left hand on their joined ones assuringly with a smile.

"It might be ignorant move but we will catch him red-handed here. Trust me."

Radhika had planned to make Akshay confess his every sin which were supposed to be recorded by spy cameras and microphones placed secretively around the location. For instance, one was fixed on Radhika's kurta as a small button and the another was fixed on the bumper of her car, near the license plate that was parked at a distance to provide a wide view of the spot. Sneha too had a few such pieces of equipment attached to her purse and jacket.

Their interaction was supposed to be followed by his immediate arrest with the solid proofs could safeguard his continued stay in imprisonment.

Though a credible faction of officers was at a distance to monitor the situation and come forward as a rescue if the situation would go out of control, Sneha couldn't trust anyone entirely for their protection thus she had carried her pistol, that was now tugged to the waistband of her jeans beneath the layer of a bomber jacket.

Sneha shook her head in denial. Her forehead furrowed with clouded feat on her features. Her eyes were moist and looked tired, silently pleading her to stop everything.

Already after the news of the accident, lamentation had spread in the family. Gautam received injuries but thankfully not as fatal as Arun who suffered a major hit in the pons and midbrain region that made the impacts entirely devastating. It almost caused a heartbeat and breathing to cease. But being a true combatant, that man kept struggling for his life on the hospital bed for around four days. But this morning, a swelling compressed the brain stem, leading to hemorrhagic stroke, that ultimately resulted in his perpetual sleep.

The grief over the loss was visible on everyone's face. Savitri was a crying mess, unable to bear this loss. Noone had seen Savitri this fragile and this time she didn't even do anything to hide her true emotions. Sneha couldn't believe she could see her mother this much devastated even. But truth was, time never remains the same for anyone.

Sneha felt miserable for being a reason behind it somewhere and as a cherry on the top, Radhika's missing news had been frightening her for days.

On the other hand, Gautam's state was stabilised however he was still in a vegetative state. The doctors just mentioned keeping patience and hope for the best in his case.

Already the family was so miserable and mourning over the current condition, Sneha now didn't want them to receive one more massive blow that would turn too outrageous to overcome.

Deaths of their young progeny.

"Why do you want to be a dupe? If he even gets a doubt. He will not leave you."

Sneha almost cried angrily at her stupidity and negligence about the consequences that would badly affect the family. Tears ran down her cheeks that made her lowered her head and close her eyes for a few seconds to control her outcries.

She quickly wiped her tears and bored her eyes in hers with gentle care and pleading.

"I don't want you to go through the same fate as mine." She said it in a very meek voice.

Radhika placed her palms above the hands that rested on her cheeks affectionately and brought it to a lower level. She smiled and placed a kiss on the back of her hands and again denied turning back this time.

"If it is this much important, I will do it for you. You please hustle from here."

Sneha sighed frustratedly and put forward a possibility that according to her was a better option.

But in contrast, the idea repulsed Radhika. She would never leave her alone and that also to deal with Akshay, even after being fully aware of their past. She snickered.

"I am not you who will run from every problem. Since you are scared and thinking about elopement, you can heartedly go. I am not a coward to leave this battleground."

Radhika's face hardened, thinking about everything. Her mind was now burning with seeking vindication. She couldn't let him go after what he did. If she had ignored him now, he would definitely plan to hurt others too, again. Before the destruction would be increased, she was determined to check it.

"I don't care about me but scared about your safety. And in no situation, I will leaving you alone." Sneha miserably tried to make her understand the disaster she had invited on her head.

"Even Sri Krishna has once run away from the war field. It is not a chicken-hearted but logical move."

When she received no response from Radhika, She huffed and grabbed her shoulders to make her look at her side.

"At least inform Vivaan about your whereabouts and plans. He has been very worried about you."

Sneha finally supposed it was a better option to let Vivaan know her whereabouts. Her hours of pleading couldn't help, maybe he would make her realise its pernicious consequences. After all, she had everything to lose unlike hers.

"So that he can drag me with him and lock me behind four walls under his strict surveillance. Not at all."

Radhika argued with fierceness. She knew he would never allow her to jeopardize her life like this. But she didn't want that low person to crawl in front of their eyes anymore. He had to pay. She wouldn't leave until burying his own grave, even if it is commemorated by her blood.

"You are being so stupid..."

She replied defeatedly, realising nothing could change her bizarre decision now. However, before she could speak further, a loud sound of a car's horn was heard. Their stares acknowledged the arrived MUV, now parked at around 50m distance.

A door of beside the driver seat was opened and Akshay stepped down from his car. He turned his head to observe the surrounding and when he noticed the two sisters, he placed his palms in his pocket with menacing smirk appeared on his face.

Though Radhika was acting strong and determined, with his over relaxed features and his facial expressions a creepy feeling got attributed in her mind. She was sure about the presence of his following battalion but when only Arjun came down from the car and marched towards her along with him, she felt confused more. A mafia leader, of course, would not roam around without security. Besides as they approached, her mind reaped with an unsettling notion.

Had she taken a good decision? Was she correct?

She felt her left arm being grabbed by Sneha's trembling hands. Radhika looked at her and found her fearful glance on him. She placed her palm above hers and shook it a little with a silent promise saying everything was going to be fine and immediately snaked her waist with her arm. She slid her behind her back, with an attempt to hid Sneha from his predatory gaze like a mother with a determined stare fixed on two monsters that now only stood two hands away distance.

"Your grace of presence was desired for hours," Radhika said with a fake wide smile, with an inability to conceal the amount of disgust she felt, witnessing the two incarnations of satan in front of her eyes.

"I am glad," Akshay smirked at her taunting smile and playing along he dramatically bowed his head in front of her like a gentleman.

Quite an irony!

His careless and his oblivion towards the destruction he had created in her life, irked her more. The laughter and pleasence on his face just rubbed salt to her injuries. She clenched her jaws and balled her fists angrily.

She couldn't believe that such a shameless person even existed.

Arjun chuckled at his response and the amount of frustration he witnessed on his ex-girlfriend's face in response was also a reason while her futile attempt to hide her cousin's body behind hers as protection looked nothing but foolish.

Radhika gleamed at him furiously, silently daring him to speak a word. If looks could kill, he must have been deep-fried in the hell now. He huffed haughtily and removed the invisible dust on his shirt, silently ignoring her and her intense gaze at him.

Meanwhile, Sneha was behind Radhika whose one hand was tugged at her waist just with an unknown intention to ensure she didn't move and have a sense of security for herself.

Sneha felt awful at how she had promised to insulate her and now how she had weakly leaned on her. However she couldn't help herself when she felt his gaze on her, she felt extremely exposed and uneasy with all the occurrences that happened between them. She looked over Radhika's shoulder meekly to acknowledge his features. She noticed his eyes fixed on her face, she panicky lowered her head behind her cousin. She felt pathetic for turning cold feet in front of him.

She felt like a small child who used to hide herself in her mother's aanchal but curiously also fearfully peeked at the stranger standing in the front.

How the mother used to wrap her arms protectively. Radhika gave her the same vibes. Amidst every wrong, Radhika's presence behind her definitely gave a sense of refuge and relief.

Sensing her fear, Radhika slowly muttered everything would be fine to her and asked her not get unnerved in front of him, without turning her scrutinised gaze away from their frames with a distrust on their any action.

She too felt uneasy about the happening but still, she stayed strong for herself, Sneha and everyone in her family.

"Really are you too stupid to not bring your protection or my eyes are being deluded?"

Radhika chuckled humorlessly and tried to question the doubt, that had surrounded her mind, with a sense of travesty.

He raised a brow with a sneer and delightfulness on his face.

"I can deal with you both single-handedly. For whom actually should I need protection? You? Or her?"

He lightly titled his head mockingly to get Sneha's one glance with a smirk. But Radhika glid an inch as a cover to her sister from his evil eyes which made him snicker at the futile attempt.

He could always get what he wanted!

"What an overconfidence you have!" She shrieked at him in outrage that didn't affect him or his crime partner even a bit. She gave them murderous glare with a prominent scowl on her face while she took long breaths to ease herself.

Sneha slightly rubbed her upper arms, silently pleading her to calm down and work with brain not emotions in a low mumble. Her angry could turn heavy here.

While on the other hand, Akshay yawned at the drama and Arjun was giving a blank indifferent stare at the scene.

"Let's talk about some issues." Radhika after taking a few deep breaths, and at last, she said in a calm business-oriented voice which surprised both the males with the uncertainty of plan, running in her mind.

Akshay's lethargy eyes observed two ladies under a sense of suspicion but ultimately chortled at the possibility of the danger they could ever be.

"It is like killing two birds with a single arrow. It will be fun." He gestured his hand towards Arjun and he passed him a pistol from his side pocket, fulfiling the unsaid order of his master.

Akshay merrily brought close to his face and observed the steel body with caress.

"See I even brought my favourite revolver to end your chapter. You must feel privileged."

He spun the pistol in his hand playfully as he watched Sneha went eyes went round and anxiously clutching her sister's hand while Radhika silently studied his actions, anticipating his next move with an almost distant face beneath tremendous tension.

"With whom shall we start this perilous game." His dark voice gave a shiver to her spine in fear. Listening to his words, Sneha's grab on her shoulder tighten in worry. Radhika placed her hand in her grip and looked at him.

"Why so hurry? Let's chat."

Radhika said in a calm maintained voice as if she had just not received any threat from the person standing in front of him or he was one of her good friends.

Akshay looked over his shoulder to Arjun who just smirked in retort. He then turned his mucky gaze at his wristwatch and back at Radhika with a laugh.

"We indeed have plenty of time to talk but alas you didn't choose a good location."

He complained when he looked there was no proper place to sit. Ignoring him, Radhika brimmed her question with utter seriousness.

"What is your problem with our family? Why are you behind us."

His mockery smile faded and a muscle in his jaw twitched in hostility. A vein popped on his neck as his expressions hardened, looking at her with cold expressions. But it a flick every emotion in his face got disappeared which mentally bothered both the sisters. He chuckled in satisfaction.

"Didn't you ask your loving father? Oops, he already became a star. But don't worry. My generous heart can't see such bigotry. I shall send your clan near them."

He dangerously approached them in slow strides with a smirk plastered on his face while the extremely dark yet void eyes fixed on Radhika that made them nervous and could hamper her determination.

"What did they do to you?" She asked with a stern voice, while her furious eyes bored into him.

His eyes bulged and nostril flared in anger while he tightened his jaw. He dragged her shoulders in his tight clasp and shouted in resentment that even made Radhika trembled at the intensity.

"Revenge. Revenge of what your father did to me."

As soon a she felt his sinister touch on his body, she felt revolted and propelled his body away angrily.

"Lier. He is too good to harm even a fly."

He falsely chuckled at her words and sent murderous look at her side. While all the while, Sneha observed the interaction in confusion and dismay.

"But he did. He sent my father behind bars where he took his last breath."

A realisation settled on her face and as Radhika understood how everything was linked, it was then, a smirk escaped her face when she replied in amusement with a fit of laughter.

"You are soon going to join him. That is the only proper place other than hell for creatures like you." She laughed at her words but the matter discussed between them was confusing Sneha. Her gaze shifted from Akshay to Radhika in chaos.

"Alas, you won't be alive to see it."

He brought his face close to hers and lowly hissed in the determination that didn't affect Radhika but her cousin.

Arjun who stood at a distance enjoyed the clash between the two with a joyous smile. He patted Akshay's shoulder in rapture.

"Didn't I mention what sharp mouthed she is. I wish I could give a good reply but your words always deterred me, brother."

Akshay chuckled at his comment and ran his gaze over Radhika from head to toe while she glared him with the massive intensity of hatred.

"I see she is feisty much. I doubt what made that stupid Vivaan fell for her. She is so plain."

As soon as Vivaan was mentioned, her blood boiled and extreme anger overtook her features. She exclaimed in aversion towards two low creatures in front of her.

"He is not stupid but you are who has ditched years of true friendship, cheated on his love and ultimately destroyed every good in your life. For what? A want of revenge. I pity you. You shall die alone in this world." She shouted with all her might at him.

"The woman you see behind her, yes....yes the one trying to hide behind her sister and constantly peeking over her shoulder towards this side, really had huge ego issues, even more than this girl. You would want and enjoy to know how she got this much tamed."

Her irate words didn't even affect him a bit, He grinned at the reaction and casually leaned towards Arjun while pointing his finger with a dirty smile at Sneha who stood behind Radhika, anxiously staring at him since she was mentioned.

He gradually marched towards them with overconfidence to reduce the distance between them which made Radhika take a few steps back unknowingly.

Sneha sensing danger came in front of him as Radhika's shield for that person, letting go of her tight grip on her wrist and threatened him in a grim voice, "Dare you to come a little more closely. You will see the
