THIRD-PERSON POV:-

Andrea could not sleep so she decided to go to the gym again as she heard some noise from River's room. She decided to knock on his door a few times but there was no response except for some more noise as if something got knocked over.

She just peaks into the room to make sure everything is alright as she sees River thrashing in sleep and mumbling something. He was having a night terror. She goes to the kitchen and brings some water and places it on the nightstand. He suddenly sits up straight and looks around, his eyes were full of fear and confusion.

His eyes find Andrea. The gaze of Andrea softens when she sees her brother's frantic state. She gives him the sign to take deep breaths without saying anything as he just follows her lead. After he collects himself, she gives him the glass of water as he drinks it in one go and sighs in relief. She still maintains the distance not wanting to trigger anything.

She asks him with eyes if she can come forward and he nods,

"Want something?" Andrea asks looking at him while sitting on the end of the bed,

"No, I am fine now," more likely to himself.

"Good," she says with a nod, "I will just go then," gave him a small awkward wave. She was about to stand when River suddenly hugs her while hiding his face in the crook of her neck.

"Just a minute," River mummers as she starts to run her fingers through his hair for comfort.

"Don't leave me," he says in a small voice,

"I won't," she says in a gentle,

"I am sorry Rea, I am so sorry," his voice breaks as she feels the wetness on her neck,

"For what?" 

"I don't know, I just am," he starts to sob while she holds him tightly as he mumbles incoherent things as she just rubs his back. He was holding on to her, afraid that she might leave. He was still in the fear that he might wake up someday and all this might be some sick joke that his already fucked up life was playing. He was terrified. 

After staying in her embrace for a while, he pulls away as she patiently waits for him to wipe his tears.

"I am fine," he reassured himself.

"I am going to the gym. Wanna join?" she asks with a raised eyebrow, "I mean of course you can go back to sleep but I mean if you can't go back to sleep because usually, I am not able to so I thought that maybe you know," doing some weird hand movement. Where the hell do my social skills go when needed? she asks herself inwardly.

River gives her a small amused smile and nods.

She suddenly hears a meow as she sees Oreo coming in and searching for her as her eyes land on her. She starts walking towards her and nudges her legs. Andrea lifts her and scrunches her nose at her, giving her a small smile. River just rolls his eyes not wanting that demon spawn anywhere near him.

"Stop staring at her like she spoiled your food,"

"I am not staring at her like that, I am just not a cat person," River defends himself

"Oh, I would not have guessed," Andrea fires back.

"You wanna come?" she asks while standing up,

"You go, I will be there in a minute or two," he also gets up. She goes to the gym room and places Oreo with a small toy of her own. River also joined as they just continued their morning in peace.

At the breakfast table, everyone is seated as Ales says to Andrea, "Sorry, I was not able to come yesterday. I had an emergency meeting and some other mafia stuff to take care of,"

"No worries, Enzo handled it well," she says with a nod, Enzo smiles at that,

"You guys want to do a family day out today?" Rhett asks suddenly with a wide smile,

Ales gives him an apologetic look and says, "Today is not possible. Maybe some other day because River is also needed to handle a few things."

"Can I come too?" his smile wavers a bit at the answer,

"No, it is a little messy,"

"No probs," Rhett says with a small smile and continue eating,

After breakfast, the other boys leave as Rhett looks at his sister and his smile widens again. He just keeps looking at her as she makes eye contact and he tries to make his eyes look big. They stare at each other for a good minute as Andrea just sighs and mutters a fine.

Only because he will be annoying to get rid of. No other reason, of course.

He gives a full-blown smile which makes his eyes disappear with an excited gleam adorning his face. "Ok, so it is final that we are going out." But his smile disappeared and a small frown took over, "But where do we go?"

"Do you want to go to that ice skating rink?" he looks taken aback,

"You pay attention to my talks," with both his eyebrows raised, he was surprised that anyone paid attention to his rants of the day during the dinner,

"I mean, I can't exactly turn my ears off,"

He chuckles as he says, "Okay softie, You love me. I got it,"

"You are having serious misconceptions," she scowled at him as she gets up and says, "I am going to change," as Andrea reaches the stairs she hears Rhett say,

"Don't worry, baby sis, I love you too," she scoffs and goes to her room while shaking her head.

As she enters the room she sees a small box with a note on it,

"I do not know what to write just imagine it to be sweet. Hope they are good."

She chuckles at the note. She sees the content inside and picks one of the macaroons and tastes the sweet delicacy. He can bake well. After eating a few, she goes and changes into a new outfit.

On her way down she goes into Enzo's room and she leaves a note for him.

"Thanks, I want chocolate ones too next time."

She sees that Rhett typing on his phone with a frown as he smiles wide as soon as he sees her.

"I am driving," Rhett gives the key with unsurety coursing through him.
