Andrea's POV:-

All three of us are seated in my office with a heavy silence surrounding us. 

"Are you going to say something?" I ask Ares as he is checking his face on the camera.

"Those assholes targeted my pretty face," he says with a frown as Lia rolls her eyes at him. 

"Ares," I say in a tone that makes him straighten his back and put his camera down, "This is the last time I am going to ask, why did you do this?" he sighs.

"Look, if I am being honest. This is because I am worried about all this." 

"Ares even if I get killed during all this, the position for -" 

"It is not about the position Nix, that is the least of my worries. It is about you." Not this again. 

"All that you have been doing is preparing everyone for taking down the Russians. Heck, if there would have been no rule about having access only after 18, you would have already taken them down. During all this time, risking your life."

"Risk is not something we can avoid," I say in a dismissive tone.

"I am with Ares on this one," Lia says raising her hand as I give her a disbelieving look, "What? look, I know you can handle yourself and you do not need anyone but sometimes changes like this may be helpful." 

"And don't think I do not know about Dimitri and your stunt," Ares says with a serious tone.

"Is he not dead or something?" Lia asks as Ares gives me a look.

"He is my cells, came to kidnap me," scrunching my nose. So annoying.

"What the fuck? and you didn't tell me?" Lia says standing up from her seat.

"Fine, I did not because of these whole overreacting tantrums of yours. I am alive and in one piece," with an exaggerated hand moment.

Lia sighs and says, "Ares did the right thing by removing the security block on your profile so that police were able to locate the family. They are useful allies and you also got a reason to not die."

"You make it seem like I care about them," I say with a raised eyebrow.

"You and your brother sat together while eating and you did not kill them. That's a start," she says with a smile. These smiley people. I hate them. 

I just shake my head as I turn to Ares, "Do not think I have forgiven you for doing this behind my back, when did you start the planning?"

"You wouldn't have allowed, " 

"No shit sherlock," I say in a bored tone.

"I started collecting the data after we finished off Victor's property. When I found out about this information, I thought of telling you but I know you, you wouldn't agree so I had to remove Jason and put you with the Italians," 

"But why did you send me to school?"Lia asks pointing herself. 

"To babysit her. You know how short-tempered she is. Someone needs to make sure she doesn't kill everyone at the school."

"That someone is sitting right here," I say pointing at myself. "You do not need to come to school," I say to Lia.

"Nah, it's fun," she says waving her hand while I and Ares look at her. Feeling our stare she asks, "What? Can't I like school?"

Ares and I share a look as I just shake my head. We discussed some matters of immediate attention.

"Anyways, I need to visit my dear friend now," I say standing up and collecting my things. I need to check if he is securely placed or not. 

I suddenly remember something. "What were you doing there?" I turn to Ares.

I raise an eyebrow as he says, "You know, deliveries of stuff here and there," and he lied. He knows that everyone in this room knows that he lied. I just nod and leave.

I stride towards the doors passing by the pillars with beautiful sculptures, I reach the door as I put my hands on the scanner. A mic appears as I say, "Access for single entry, the name is Andrea DeLuca." The doors open as soon as my face is also scanned and approved. 

I go and stand in the middle of the room as I press the button on the floor with my foot. An elevator is formed around me as I go into basement cells. 

Reaching Dimitri's cell, all that can be seen is a hunched figure with few bruises. Looks like my men did roughen him up a bit. This is boring.

I start a video in his cells. As soon as the video starts, he understands. They were of his father, Victor being tortured brutally by me. He is not able to see me but I am. He tries not to cry but fails miserably. He loved his father. What a pity. I roll my eyes and leave. I can't do this today. 

Emotions... Ew

After I reach home, I complete my homework and go for dinner when called. The elder brothers were talking about something and Rhett was just sitting there chatting with someone. The door opened and it was River with a bruised face.

He sat down for dinner silently.
"Seriously, again?" Lorenzo says frustrated.
River just rolls his eyes.

"Did you win?" I ask curiously. Everyone gives me a weird look while River looks at me with surprise but smirks later.
"Of course, you should have seen them. Barely alive" he says proudly.
"How many?"
"9-1" good one brother.
"I am impressed" taking a bite from my food.

"Good, another River" Lorenzo mutters.
"You need to put some medicine on that" Ales says in worry.
"I will do it don't worry, "River says dismissing.

 After dinner,

"Anyways, I wanted to ask what do you do for business?" I say with a nonchalant look, please tell the truth. 

"Let's talk about it in the office," Lorenzo says and we all go to Ales's office and get seated and wait for Ales to answer.
"Yaa, actually we wanted to tell you about it but we thought you might be scared so before telling you, promise us that you won't leave us. We did not want you to know from someone else."wow they are actually telling me. Everyone looks a little scared. Guys chill.

"Ya, don't worry about that"
"We are in Mafia" they look at me for reaction.
"Thank god you told me, now I don't have to pretend" I sigh with a tired sigh.
Everyone looks surprised even RIver.
"You knew?" They say in unison. I nod

"Long story- short, I have been a part of Mafia for a long time so I know every single Mafia family so the moment I came to know that Alessandro DeLuca is my guardian, I knew who you were, "I say shrugging.

"Did you know that you were Mafia Princess from the beginning?" Lorenzo asked curiously.
"No, I had my doubts but I never knew about it and never tried to find it out"
"Why," River said looking at me.
"Because I never wanted a family"

"Why," he asks again.
"Because they either leave you, betray you or become your weakness which I can't afford to have," I say in a monotonous voice.
"How are you exactly in Mafia?" Ales asks.
"I was sold to the Russian Mafia," I say it like it's nothing. They gasp.
"What?" They shout.
"I was sold to Russian Mafia," I say pronouncing every word clearly.
"When," River says with a strain in his voice.
"I was 7 or something, look I will only answer the necessary questions" 

"What about mom, she would never allow that," Lorenzo says
"She died when I was 4," I say.
"How?"
"She was missing you all and your father so she was crying about it and Jason, her boyfriend got angry and put a knife through her chest and she died," I say in a bored tone.
Should I have said it and put it in more gently?
