Ali's pov

"And trust me you won't be able to make it outside of your head." Ruby says, but maybe I can. She starts talking about how she's going to make me suffer, she's going to make Luke kill me and then she will kill him.

 I don't know what has happened between them or if she may just be imagining it. But I can't think too much, it hurts. My body is aching in pain. 

She stops in the middle of her sentence and says "then maybe you should have been paying attention to what I was saying." I don't think she's talking to me because I heard every word.

Before I can think of anything else she turns around and starts cutting off a piece of my flesh. It burns and stings, why is it so painful? And why does it burn when she cuts me? Is it a special blade? I've been cut before but this is such slow torture.

 After she cuts off a piece of my arm skin she holds it in her hand and turns towards Luke. What she going to do with my flesh? I don't have to wait long for the answer, all of a sudden shoving it into his mouth. 

I think I hear a slight moan come from him, maybe my blood and flesh taste good? I see blood dripping from his lips, my blood. She said he couldn't break the mind control, but she's only focused on him now.

I can feel my senses returning to me as if I'm stepping back into my body and not just observing from the back of my mind. She probably has been focusing on keeping me still but now that Luke is here maybe she won't focus on me. I'm like a bug to her. 

I sit up trying not to make any noise. But its so hard my whole body hurts, and I'm aching in pain. But I somehow manage to sit up. It feels like a loss chain is around me, I can move but I'm a bit restricted. 

But now that I'm free what do I do? How can I escape from here with my life and Luke's? Maybe if I turn myself into a demon... I can get strong enough to defeat her or at least distract her so Luke can get out of the mind control.

I really hope this works. I see Luke looking at me I whisper to him through our bond she said that you couldn't I thought maybe I can. I don't know why but even my voice inside my mind is breaking. 

It's not even my real voice so how can it break so easily. Before he can respond I jump on him and bite onto his shoulder and shove my bleeding arm into his mouth. I know he already has my blood in his mouth and my flesh, but I don't know if it has to be at the same time so will cover all options. 

I feel his blood dripped down my throat and easily slide down to my stomach. I know that it took Amie more time to change into her demon. But I feel the effects immediately my blood feels like it's running backwards and heating up like liquid fire running through my veins.

My skin starts to feel as if it's burning off melting to the ground. I don't think this is what Amie went through but maybe it's because I'm with Luke. And he's stronger then Cato, I can't help but fall to my hands and knees in pain my whole body aches and now it feels as if I'm growing new skin and my blood is on fire ripping through my whole body.

 I look at my arms and the cuts start to close but it hurts so much. Every cut is engulfed in fire and seals itself like magic. My insides twist and turn in a very painful way, then like how fire engulfed my cuts I feel fire engulfing my lower area. 

It was so sore and now it burns Like hell fire. New tears fall down my cheeks and cloud my vision. I fell onto my side not being able to hold myself from my arms anymore. It was like slow motion, like in the movies except happening in real life, right now. 

I watch as he struggles and breaks free of the hold and runs to ruby out stretching his arm and hand to grab her throat. She on the other hand looks bewildered and can't react fast enough. 

Time feels like it's going even slower, he grabs her neck and pulls her into him, so that her back is to his chest and with one fluid and quick motion that seems to be going on for a long time. He snaps her neck and her eyes go wide and she falls to the ground. 

For a moment I stop thinking about my pain as I see her facing me lying on the ground her eyes are open and her body is slack. It's like I can see her essence leaving her body, her eyes open but you can see the light that was once in them disappear. 

She may have been demon but she dies like everyone else. I will never forgive her for what she did to me but I don't think I'll forgive myself even more for letting it happen. 

I know I couldn't do anything but I feel like I should have been able to. My mind stops thinking when another agonizing surge of pain rushes throughout my whole body I scream and finally I can scream with my own voice.

It breaks and screeches and it is the most horrifying and in human sound of ever heard. But it came from my lips. Fire starts literally engulfing me and I feel myself grow bones breaking and muscle stretching farther than they can. 

It's the most painful thing I've experienced today. And that's saying something I laugh on the inside a little. Who would think that this would be the most painful thing I had felt after all I've been through today. 

I feel horns start to grow and split open my skin, they don't feel big but they hurt. My back starts to arch as what I can only assume wings start sprouting from my back it rips through my skin and muscle. It feels like something is growing through my body and breaking everything that it used to be. 

After a couple minutes tat felt like eternity of agonizing pain and my whole body trying to arch itself off the floor. I fall back to the floor feeling exhausted. My eyes are trying to close and I let them but the last thing I see is Luke running over to me with tears falling down his face.

So even the devil can cry... It's the most beautiful and sad thing I've seen in my whole life, the man I love crying.
