Sherlock waited impatiently in front of the garden door of Millstone Mansion. It was 1.35am and he was growing more impatient with every passing second.

Why is she late? He thought.

According to his deductions, she was a punctual woman. There must had been something to happen her or she  really didn't want to come. In this situation, Sherlock would prefer the first option. It was logical, though. She was a criminal an she must had had some enemies, naturally.

Sherlock looked up to see the full moon beaming. Unexpectedly cloudless night in a winter day. The stars were shining with all their might and a cold breeze was touching gently to his cheecks.

He took a deep breath before turning on his heels. He was disappointed. He didn't know why. It was her choice after all. It was her, who needed help. Why would he care? She didn't mean anything to him.

He was about to go back to the main road but he saw a raven sitting on the tree, just above him.
Raven. How ironic. He thought.

He suddenly remembered her piece. That mesmerising song. He grinned. He decided to wait five more minutes for the sake of the song.
His phone buzzed. It was John. He was asking where he was. Sherlock ignored him.
His phone buzzed again. This time, he was saying that she was dangerous and not trusthworthy. Sherlock sighed in anger.
No. She could be a criminal but she was honest. He did see it in her eyes. She was really in danger. He knew this. He saw how music affected her soul. He saw her innoucence in that night they danced. He felt something towards her but...
Why was he thinking of these silly things? His mind was far too superiour to be occupied with this unneccessary thoughts.

He decided not to reply John. Last thing he needed right now was, someone to insult him.

"You are here."

He heard her voice behind him. His heart rate went up. He took a deep breath to calm himself down.

"Why wouldn't I?"he said turning back to see her.

"I wasn't expecting you to come. You over-worried boyfriend was quite reluctant."she said sarcastically.

"I'm not going to point the obvious. I consider you are as smart as understand what I meant.."he said and started to walk through the entrance door at the back of the building.
He needed to move away from her. Because he got ridicilously stressed when she looked at his eyes. With her beautiful eyes.

She wasn't wearing lenses this time. She was wearing just her usual mask and also she changed her clothes into her usual tight black dress.
She smirked behind him, slightly blushed.

"Where are you going?"she asked.

"To inside."

"The door is here."

Sherlock rolled his eyes. He was about to turn the corner.
"Well, the house is deserted. I don't want  my dress to get dirty so I'll use the main door."she said and started to walk towards the main door.

Sherlock sighed and followed her.
She took a small hair pin.
"Hair pin? Don't you have something more creative picklock? After all you are the famous hollow thief."he said sarcastically as he was watching her to open the lock.

"Sorry to disspoint you. But conventional ways are quicker."she said and in a matter of seconds, she opened the door."of course if you are a professional."she pushed the door and let him get inside.

"I bet this isn't you first breaking in Mr. Holmes"she said.
Sherlock smirked.
"No, it's not."he answered and continued to walk.

"But you are still an amatour, you know. If there was someone in the house, we definately would have caught."their eyes met. Both blushed and cut the eye contact.
They were acting like two shy children when they were alone.

Her insult, baffled him.
"Why?"he asked, annoyed.
She turned to him and smiled. Her smile was different. He couldn't managed to see her sarcasm. Furthermore, he saw a hesitation, regret and worry. These all, didn't make any sense to him.

"You are dragging your feet."she said and continued to walk, leaving him behind.
It wasn't her comment what baffled him. It was her suspicious worry. She was worried, which was unusual. Why would she be worried?
"Hey!"he shouted after her. She stopped. He saw her hands were shaking. How bad he wanted to hold her naive and delicate hands! He shook his head to forget this thought.

"What?"she asked, trying to be calm.

"You are acting like this is your first breaking in."he didn't want to miss the opportunity to pay back her insult. And hoping to warm the atmosphere a bit.
She smiled. Her smile was more sincere now. Which made him smiled too.

"Come on let's start with Veronica's room quickly."she said and climbed the stairs. Sherlock followed her. She was acting weird. Although he didn't know her well, he could understand.

"Come on Mr. Holmes I got a dash."she opened the door and waited for him to get inside. Once again he saw her hands were shaking while she was holding the door handle.

Another suspicious behavior. He determined.

When he finally got inside, the door was shut closed. He startled and quickly turned back to the door.
"What's going on?!"he shouted.

He heard her, cursing under her breath. He was totally baffled. But the door was locked. He was trapped.
The clock was ticking. It was 1.55 am...
