It was midnight. The rain was pouring and she was the only one walking at the branch streets. She was completely alone with darkness.
She was like soaring in the air. Her movements was so silent and so elegant. She was completely in black. And the only thing shining in the dark was her white mask.
But suddenly, she heard something behind her. She turned to look at it but there was nothing. She continued walking but she stopped after a few meters later. She leaned the corner of the building, covered herself with her black cloak and started to wait.
She heard footsteps. Someone was coming closer to her. She saw a man in a normal clothes. But it was obvious that he was looking for something. In the middle of the night. In the branch streets. He was looking for someone. However she had a perfect guess.
She suddenly jumped over the man, causing him to fall and groan in pain.
"Who are you!"she asked. Her voice was covered. The man looked surprised. He didn't respond. He groaned an she put pressure on his chest with her leg.
"I asked you a question."she said. The man was in pain. She then made him get up and pinned him to the wall of the building, spraining his arm.
"He send me to find you!"he cried.
"Who?"she asked. The man didn't respond.
"Answer me!"she demanded.
"I don't know!"he shouted in pain. She was getting angry.
"What were you going to do with me then?"she asked.
"I was going to take you to the house."he cried. She left his arm.
"Which house?"she asked.
He straightened. Rubbed his arm.
"Over there"he pointed the house at the end of the street.
"How do I know wether you are telling the truth or not?"She asked. The man grimaced.
"For God's sake! I don't care. I'm just a beggar. Leave me alone!"he said running away.
She stood still and looked at the house he pointed.
She decided to go inside.
The house was the oldest house in the shabby and narrow street. It's walls were nearly destroyed. But without a hesitation she went inside.
Inside the house was dark which made her happy. The darkness was her most important gun. After all, she was the ruler of the darkness. The darkness would always obey her. The darkness would always protect her. She had learnt how to use the darkness. She had learnt how to turn her biggest fear into her biggest gun.
She was walking silently. She saw a staircase. She started to climb it's steps.
Upstairs wasn't quite different from the rest of the house. Abondened, old, dusty, dark...
There was only one room. And it's door was open. She stepped inside. She looked around. There was a wooden chair and a table in front of the broken window. The moonlight wasn't enough to lighthen the inside, however she could see in the dark.
She started to wait. She didn't know what she was waiting for however, it didn't take so long.
A gentle footsteps were heard in front of the door.
It was a man. She couldn't see his face properly until he came closer to the moonlight.
He had dark black hair. He was tall and thin. He had piercing brown eyes.
As she was staring at him, he stood behind the table and looked at her. All he could see was her white mask. Nothing more.

"Here I am, tell me what do you want from me and please, be quick."she said harsly. She wasn't using her own voice.

He grinned. She was annoyed She would hate being called by someone. She would hate waiting for someone.

"The famous women in mask. I have to admit, you look really scary."he said.

"And you are not. Come to the point."she said, impatiently.

"oh please, we've just met. Let's have a little chat first."

"A chat? Do you want to have a chat? Be it what you want then."her robotic voice echoed inside the room. Even he felt creeps, because of her voice.

He suddenly heard something shattered behind him. He quickly turned to look at it. It was just an empty bottle. When he turned back to her, she'd gone. He looked around. But she was nowhere as if she'd vanished.

"I.DON'T.HAVE.TIME.FOR.BUBBLING."she hissed grabbing his neck and helding a knife against his throat. He was startled for a moment.

"You are impressive. You are really impressive. But honey, let's don't spill blood on my new suit."he said and grabbed her gloved hand.

"I can cut your throat, right now."

"Yes, you can. Of course you can. But Why? Am I your archenemey? We've just met, haven't we?"he stopped for a moment, still feeling the knife in his throat. "Besides I might have something that you really want."

She hesitated for a moment but then she let go of him. He rubbed his neck.

"Talk. Be quick."she demanded. He smiled, which really annoyed her.

"Honey, we are going to talk buisness aren't we? There are, of course, some rules in buisness. My rules. And the first one is, YOU CANNOT ORDER ME!"he suddenly shouted. His voice was so strong that it was almost making the window glasses shattered. She wasn't expecting this. Because he was talking so calmly with his Irish accent, initially.

"Well, there are some rules according to me too. And the first one is, YOU CANNOT ORDER ME!"

"Let's assign a fair point. We are not going to order each other."

"Fair enough."

"Good. Now let's get down to buisness."

"Yes, please."

"First of all, I honestly admire your works. They are really, so beautifully planned and done. And you know what, it took me ages to find you. That's why I'm talking to you as if you are my equal."

She sat down to the chair. She leaned back. Inside her mask, she was sarcastically laughing.

"Oh, thank you for your kind compliments, my equeal."she said sarcastically.

"You'll know me, soon. Any you'll be very regret because of your behaviors."

"Come on, threaten me with more effective things. Honestly, you're not very convincing about being my equal."she said. She was aiming to make him angry. It would always fun to do, making people angry. It was one of her biggest guns. Because she knew that when people got angry, they would become an eaiser target.

"You'll see the equality honey."

"People call me the hollow thief, the woman in mask, the white disaster. But I call myself the empress. And I'd say, you are merely a middle-class murderer, with an high ego nothing more."she interrupted him. But then, things didn't go exactly the same with her expectations. She saw something in his piercing brown eyes that she'd never seen for years. It was an expression of the boiling anger and... And something scarier. It was something worst. Something indestructable. Something dangerous. Something very dangerous indeed. It was...

He raised his head, his sarcastic and annoying smile was gone. He was no longer the funny men. He suddenly became a man who was capable to do anything. Who was even prepared to burn.

She calculated everything from the beginning. She'd made a mistake. He could be useful. And he could also be very dangerous.

"You calculated everything from the beginning. You misjudged me. But I'm going to give you another chance. So let's start again."he paused for a moment. His eyes shone. She saw it again, in his eyes, which made her startled. Which gave her creeps.

"Hi, my name is Jim Morriarty and I'm here to have a deal with you, Miss Westenra."

The moment he said her name, she was turned into a stone. Her eyes wide opened inside her mask, and an expression of terror appeared on her face. And when she saw "it" again in his eyes, she knew, she'd just involved in a very dangerous game.

"ıt" was MADNESS in his brown eyes...
