Five months later

I smiled at my Mother, laughing as she sat on the couch next to me in Heather's small bungalow.

"I really have missed you, darling," whispered my Mother, tucking a loose stand of my brunette hair behind my ear.

"I missed you too," I replied, pulling her in for a long hug, squeezing her tightly.

"It's so nice seeing you happy," she said, beaming.

I smiled, turning towards the front door as it was gently pushed open, revealing a sweaty looking Logan.

"Hey, Maggie," he greeted, flashing a row of pearly white teeth.

My mother nodded, offering Logan a small wave of her hand. "Hi Logan."

Logan turned his attention towards me, running his hands through his hair nervously as he chewed on his bottom lip. "There's something I want you to see."

I furrowed my brows in confusion, looking up at him strangely. "Okay."

Logan took my hand, leading me out of the house after letting my Mother know we would be right back, leaving me on edge.

"Logan, what is it?" I asked as I was led through the now bustling village, winding down the stone path; my heeled boots clicking against the rock every time I took a step.

"I've been working on something for a couple of months. It's taken a while, and I've had a lot of help from everyone, but it's pretty much almost finished, and I wanted you to finally see it," said Logan excitedly, making his way off the path, pushing past a few rows of beautiful oak trees; acorns scattered around the floor delicately.

I stopped, gazing up at the large brick house in front of me, my mouth hanging open and Logan looking at me sheepishly, a small smile playing at his lips.

"What is this!?" I squealed, covering my mouth with my hands.

"We needed a house of our own. I knew Heather was getting tired of me, you and my Mother living under her roof. We built a brand new one for my Mom too; she hasn't seen it yet, but I'm sure she will want to stay with Heather for the time being."

"I know she's been getting much better recently after everything, but I think she still needs my Mother there for support. So, we built it so my Mom can move into it when she's ready."

"How is Heather doing? Has she spoken to you much?" I asked, frowning.

Logan shrugged, gazing down at me. "It'll take time, but she's been doing a lot better since Anthony came into her life."

"I'm glad she's found someone."

"She deserves it," replied Logan.

"So this is where you've been sneaking off to?" I laughed, shaking my head, admiring the beautiful house in front of me.

Logan smiled, pulling me in for a hug, kissing me softly on the forehead. "There's no furniture yet, but I thought we could go out and pick some together. Plus, now Emily is back, I'm sure she would love to help out, since interior design is her thing."

"Of course. Thank you so much. You're amazing," I whispered, pressing my lips softly to Logan's, moving mine against his gently as he took hold of my waist, pulling me impossibly closer to him.

"So, how'd you like it?"

I gasped, pulling away from Logan to see Theo standing in front of us, peering up at the house, Emily by his side.

"You helped?" I asked, raising my eyebrows.

Theo nodded, flexing his muscles, causing Emily to snort.

"Well, thank you. It's amazing," I replied, making my way over to Theo, pulling him in for a hug.

I pulled away, looking around me at the beautiful house, my friends, and my loving mate. Life was finally peaceful again, and I was looking forward to the future.

I knew nothing would ever be the same again and my life had completely changed, but maybe it was for the better.

There were people I would miss for the rest of my life, but I knew it was better to celebrate their lives and who they were as people, rather than wallow in the pain I was feeling from the loss.

I had learned that tomorrow was never promised, and the future is never certain.

However, what I was certain of was, I belonged here as Luna of The Dark Moon Pack, and I belonged with my beautiful mate, Alpha Logan Black.

This was my life now, and I couldn't have been more thankful for it.

And it all started, with The Whipping.

Oh

My

Gosh!

I can't believe this book is finished! I really am going to miss writing it! I want to thank everyone who has read, voted and commented because it really does mean the world to me! Writing has always been a passion of mine, and my dream is to one day, publish a book!

In this book, I really wanted to highlight that life is never perfect and things will happen that are out of your control. I know a lot of the characters made mistakes, and some people weren't happy about that, but life is full of mistakes, and it's how you learn. I really wanted my story to reflect that.

Nobody can be the perfect person 100% of the time and I hope I portrayed that message in my story.

Lots of love everyone! xxx
