One... two... three.
I opened my eyes: ... yep. He's still there and... what the heck is that?
There, not so far away- he was sitting there. I've never seen him before, nor do I remember how he was described in the novel...
But it wasn't really hard to recognize him: fluffy, blonde hair that caught the sunlight, smooth pale skin. The usual normal noble antics- when they look much more handsome. Though molten gold irises with slits like a lizard weren't so common, because it just complimented his whole appearance, it didn't look too obviously inhumane. I also would've thought that he was just the (not so) normal, very handsome mob character with eye-catching hair and eye color if it weren't for-
'Please tell me I'm not the only one who can see that.'
'S-see what?' Emile asked me in a dazed voice, and I closed my eyes in pain:
Yep. I'm the only one who can see that, aren't I?
How... tiresome. Everything is getting so unnecessarily complicated: beside Emile who never shuts her hole, and my new 'outdoor-stick-swinging-class', now there's Raymond, who for some reason has... horns. If it weren't for me being as patient, and resilient as I always am, I don't know who would've died first: my brother, or me.
'Let's go take a seat,' I told Emile- my legs were in pain because of standing for so long but even when turning away, my eyes were still on Raymond.
It was kind of hard to keep my eyes away from him. There was this urge telling me to go to him and...
Well, he was quite the charmer on the outside even with... those. Though I doubt it's the same from the inside.
More importantly, I needed to see if I really am the only person who can see... the horns. Horns like... like a goat but larger.
Yes, it was thanks to those... that I knew he was definitely not a human. I mean, when you see a person with gigantic horns growing from their head, you would either think they're not human, or you would think 'oh, damn: I wish I had those.'
That... kind of person is definitely not me. Just saying, if I had those horns... I would use them quite well. Maybe with them, I wouldn't even have had to walk...
So why...? Why does he have horns, while I don't?! Ahem, I mean 'others don't,' not I. Clearly, Raymond doesn't seem to have any problems... except his future unrequited love which he has to see, and suffer, the final big boss that appears at the end of the novel, also that some of his powers were sealed away and he's slowly dying- that's it! His life is too easy!!
'Phoenix?' Emile called hesitantly and I turned towards her.
'... What?'
She smirked when she saw me irritated: 'Were you staring... at the new kid?'
Before I could answer, she cut me off though: like why'd you ask if you didn't need an answer?
'I heard his name was Adrien Dakota- he's a commoner but he was accepted into the academy with a record of the highest score in both magic capabilities, and swordmanship.'
Emile waited for an answer, so I muttered: 'Oh wow~ that's so awesome,' in a monotonous voice.
'His face is good looking and he's a commoner, so... it wouldn't be too bad if I made him my plaything, don't you think?'
Now that... is basically just going to a guillotine to see if they can cut your neck cleanly, and then you die... painfully. Raymond is... Adrien?
Wait... Adrien... Dakota? Adrien Dakota?! It's supposed to be Raymond- the heroine named him that- like a dog.
And he was super excited because of that one name and ended up in a forever unrequited... that's kinda sad.
Still... it should be Raymond... or am I wrong? Though that feels a little unlikely... must've remembered wrong, I suppose. Obviously, I don't even remember my name in my past life...
Now that I think about it, he's here... earlier. Much earlier than he should be.
Well... thanks to that thought, I stared at Raymond for a half hour: It was tiring as f*ck.
Lunch break was over too fast, and before I realized, I was there- at my next class.
'Please change your clothes.'
The stick-swinging class. In other words, swordmanship.
The measurements were perfect: not too small or big, and they looked easier to move in as well but... I was already so tired: sigh~
'If you're not even willing to do this much, you shouldn't have signed in,' the woman told me harshly- but it's not like I was the one who signed in.
-Currently, I was the only noble lady learning swordmanship because the other girl was still suspended. That meant double hard work- no slacking off unlike other classes.
I felt that though all the other teachers let me off the hook even if I was sleeping right before them, this teacher... would be different.
*sob* I want to sleep~ *sob*
Black pants, loose clean shirt with long sleeves, dark tall boots... heavy. They're heavy.
-Ian was there, and so was that bastard forever-third-wheel male lead: the crown prince. Though I didn't see Raymond anywhere... or my brother.
Anyway, we all stood in one line- because we have the same instructor: a young woman with cherry red hair, and average face... she looks a bit familiar.
Like I've seen her somewhere but... her face is kind of blurry- traits of a mob I suppose.
More importantly, where and when have I seen this red hair...?
-The difference between me, and the others (boys) however-
'You should start by running ten laps.'
F*ck it. F*ck, my life! Why-
'What are you standing there for? Run.'
They learn- I run. That was the difference between me, and them.

A/n: sorry for not being able to update last week. I was super depressed, like for no reason at all.
Some of you are probably confused. Like, take this for an example:
"More importantly, where and when have I seen this red hair...?
-The difference between me, and the others (boys) however-"
I know they're totally irrelevant to each other, and they kinda sound weird, but I'm too lazy to edit and make some sense out of this sh** I'm writing. (Sorry for the language: it's a tongue disease)
The sentences typed in 'this' way are her thoughts at the moment, and the normal ones are her narrating. Get it, right?
Anyway, I'll try to update again this Sunday but I'm like totally out of inspirations. I've also been thinking of writing a BL and that is why I'm super distracted... but that's beside the point.
Thank you all for bearing with me, and bothering yourself to read this incredibly long author note- if you actually did in the first place.
   I'm grateful, really.
