'Phoeni?' he stopped, & looked back at me who was huffing slightly.

'Just... leave me here. I can't go any further than this,' I panted dropping down to my knees. His brows furrowed, & his hands clenched; 'But... Phoeni, you barely walked few steps. I even carried you up the stairs.'

My face flushed slightly at his words; he was making me sound really lazy, but I've become so hardworking these days. You don't even know how hard it was for me this week. Do you even know how long I stood without someone supporting me while the tailor measured my size?

(A/n; and you're making it sound like you have some kind of disease that enables you to work your muscles.)

   '...'

'Shall I carry you again?' my brother asked, & I nodded desperately, making him sigh regretfully.

What can I do? Laziness is a disease.

                                              ...

So, believe it or not, there are separate chambers for kids, & adults. For me that just spells trouble.

The guards stared at my brother who was carrying me on his back weirdly for a few minutes before opening the door.

The chamber for kids were big- chaise longue!!!

'Duke Elan's heir, Michael Elan, & Phoenix Elan is entering,' one of the guards announced, causing every other kids to look toward us. I saw how adoringly the girls looked at Michael.

Honestly, I couldn't care less about the attention, but it seems my brother did. He quickly dropped me to the ground, almost causing me to fall but I somewhat stayed on my feet.

   What? Coward.

I frowned at Michael who was walking next to with his face slightly flushed. That's when I noticed him glancing at one particular lady, who was talking to her friends.

Oh, now I see. But they didn't even notice you come in though? Also... their face seems kind of hard to remember next to you, & I even forget your face sometimes. Also father's.

Actually, I didn't exactly see who he was glancing at; I couldn't follow his vision to that extent. But you know, I can see that it's probably one of those three ladies giggling to each other. Yeah, real good choice brother; none of them has much of a memorable face, & all of them looks like it's their jewelries wearing them, instead of the person themselves.

Well, I have to return his favor someday (for carrying her) so, I guess... it's time to open my eyes, to see which lady is the...

Oh, I'm too tired thinking by myself like this! And, why is the god damn couch so far from the door?!

'Hey, Michael you're here!' a black haired boy about his age walked to him with two other boys with even less memorable face than the black haired one.

I noticed that black hair was really common in here; most of the people had them, but none of them looked as beautiful as mine I would say. Especially when my hairdo was even more magnificent.

'Oh, hi...' I couldn't remember his name even though I heard it just seconds ago. That meant his name was even more forgettable than his face.

'This is your sister?' he looked down at me, & I blinked in surprise; they say people become friends with someone who's similar to themselves, & I see nothing, absolutely nothing similar in my brother and him.

They waited for me to greet him while I just silently stared. In the end it was my brother who introduced me; 'This is my sister Phoenix.'

He nudged me softly, probably gesturing me to greet him, & I finally recovered; 'Oh, hi.'

That was the only thing that came out of my mouth before I turned toward the dessert table before the couch. No one was really touching it- I wonder why.

   'Phoenix-'

'The future sun of the empire, Kalian Westfall, & her highness the second princess Rhea Westfall is entering.'

That announcement had everyone turn towards the door, except me. Because I was too lazy to do that.

A/N; I don't know how I can continue to write the story with such a lazy character who doesn't bend even to my will. She either keeps fastening, or slowing the process too much. Hah... well, I love her though.
