*Mystic Falls, Va.- The Salvatore Boarding House- Sunset*

Stefan Salvatore has brown hair and brown eyes. He's looking at the sunset from on top of the roof of the boarding house, with a smile. Stefan speaks and says sternly, "For over a century, I lived in secret. Hiding in the shadows, alone in the world. Until now, I'm a vampire and this is my story..." Stefan jumps down from the roof to the ground, he's wearing all black causal clothes. Stefan speaks and continues and admits sadly, "I shouldn't have come home, I know the risk. But I had no choice, I have to know her."

*The Gilbert's House- The Morning*

Elena has long brown hair. She's in her room, wearing a pink tank top and blue jeans. She's sitting in the windowsill and she's writing about the beginning of her day in her diary and it says. Dear diary, today will be different. It has to be. I will smile, and it, will, be believable. My smile will say: "I'm fine, thank you." "Yes, I feel much better." Elena, is looking in her mirror, and she's changed her clothes for school. She's wearing a black jacket, red top and navy-blue jeans and tennis shoes. "I will no longer be, the sad, little girl, who lost her parents. I will start fresh, be someone new. It's the only way, I'll make it, through." She goes downstairs to the kitchen to talk to her Aunt Jenna.

*Downstairs- The Kitchen*

Jenna is near the refrigerator, and she asks Elena bout breakfast, "I can make toast?" Elena goes over to the coffee machine and makes a cup of coffee and retorts with a smile to her, "Its all about the coffee." Aunt Jenna Jenna starts looking through her bag for some lunch money as Jeremy walks in, wearing, all black causal clothes and retorts to Jenna, "Is there still coffee?" She responds and retorts looking at the clock to Elena, "Its the first day of school and I'm totally un-prepared." Elena hands Jeremy, her cup of coffee and he takes it and she sighs and grabs another cup and pours herself some again. Jenna walks over to Jeremy and says, "Lunch money?" Elena responds and retorts, "I'm good." Jeremy takes it and says, "Thanks." Jenna walks back over to the brown table in the middle of the room across from the counter and she asks them, "Anything else? A number 2 pencil?" Jeremy is texting on his phone near the sink to his friends as Jenna continues to Elena, "What, am I, missing?" Elena turns to her and retorts sternly, "Isn't your presentation, today?" Jenna nods and retorts looking at her watch, "Yeah, I'm supposed to be, meeting with my thesis advisor right now!" She takes her orange-reddish hair out of a burn and lets it flows down straight and says in shock, "Crap." Elena responds and retorts sternly, "Then go, well be fine." Jenna nods, grabs her brown bag and leaves in a rush to Whitmore College. Elena turns to Jeremy and asks concerned bout him, "Are you k?" He stops texting and puts his phone away and in his jacket pocket. He grabs his coffee and starts to walk past her, and he retorts not in the mood, "Don't start!" He leaves and she sighs.

*On the Road*

Elena is sitting in the passengers side and Bonnie Bennet has long black hair and shes wearing causal clothes. Shes sitting in the drivers side of her blue Mercedes. She looks over to Elena and reveals to her about her bloodline, whilst still driving down the road. "So, Grams is telling me, that I'm Physic..." Elena looks over to her as he continues, "Our Ancestors, came from Salem? Witches and all that." Elena looks at her surprised and in shock and Bonnie comments, "I know. Rite, and she just kept going on, and on about it. I'm like put this woman in a home, already." Elena smiles and looks away from her and out the window, as Bonnie passes the cemetery. Bonnie continues speaking and driving, "Then, I was thinking, I predicted Obama and I predicted Heath Ledger and Im still thinking, that Florida Keys, will just break off, into like resort islands." Bonnie notices Elena not paying attention and says upset, "Elena?!" Elena looks over to her as Bonnie continues and retorts with a smile, "Back in the car?" She sighs and apologizes, "I did it, again, didn't I? I'm sorry, Bonnie. You were telling me that." Bonnie nods and retorts with a smile, "That I'm Physic, now." Elena nods and retorts with a smile, "Right, k then, predict something?" Bonnie nods, continues driving as Elena says with a smile, "Bout me?" Bonnie looks over to her and says, 'I see...' A crow hits into the window of the car on Elena's side and Bonnie stops the car in shock and pulls over around, the corner and sees the crow gone, "What was that?" Elena takes deep breathes and Bonnie comments and asks concerned now, "Oh my god, Elena, are you k?" Elena nods and retorts with a smile, "Its k, I'm k." Bonnie cuts her off and retorts, "It was a bird or something? It came out of nowhere." Elena nods and retorts sternly, "Its k, honestly, I cant be freaked bout cars, the rest of my life?" Bonnie nods, smiles and she continues her prediction, from before, 'I predict, this year, is gonna be kick-ass.' Elena nods and smiles as she continues, 'I predict, that all the sad and the bad times are over and that, you are going to be, beyond happy?' They both smile and then they go to school.

*Mystic Falls High School- The Evening*

Stefan is walking on the lawn to the school and inside, Bonnie and Elena are talking near her locker. Bonnie sees Matt across from them at his locker listening to his music and Elena looks over to him and waves and he says nothing to her and grabs his books out and slams the locker shut and goes to class. Elena sighs and looks back at Bonnie and comments sad, "He hates me!" Bonnie shakes her head and retorts with a smile, trying to cheer her up, "That's not hate. Thats you dumped me, but Im to cool to show it and Im secretly, listening to Air Supplys Greatest Hits?" She nods and then, Caroline Forbes walks over to them and hugs Elena, "Elena, oh, my god, how are you?" Elena hugs her and then, Caroline lets go and says with a smile, "Its so good to see you?" Elena nods, smiles and says nothing and Caroline looks over to Bonnie and asks concerned about Elena, "Is she good?" Bonnie smiles and Elena speaks and retorts, "Care, I'm right here? I'm fine. Thank you." Caroline nods and retorts in disbelief, "Really?" Elena nods and assure her, "Yes. I'm fine." Caroline nods and hugs her again and says, "Oh, you poor thing?" Elena hugs her back again and Caroline lets go and retorts to them both, "K, see you guys later?" They nod and Caroline leaves. Elena turns back to Bonnie and remarks bout Caroline, "No comment." Bonnie nods in agreement and they leave.

*Outside- The Stoners Pit*

Jeremy and Vicki Donavon are talking. He gives her a white pill to take and comments, "Who takes, more than two, in a five-hour window." She says nothing and makes sure no ones looking as he continues, "This will last you, for over six hours, k." She smiles and takes it and then says, "Thanks Jer." Vicki has long, light brown hair. Shes wearing, a grey vest to cover her black bra, but it shows her stomach and black pre-ripped jeans with black boots. He nods and pulls out a cigarette and starts smoking as Tyler Lockwood walks over to them and past him and retorts with a smile to her, "Hey Vik. I knew youd be, over here, with all of the crack-heads." He pulls her body into him and she says with a smile, "Hey." They look over to Jeremy and smile. Tyler snatches his cigarette from him and remarks, "Pete Wintz called, he wants his nail polish back?" Tyler starts smoking and Jeremy retorts with a smile, "Pete Wintz, huh? Thats Carson Daly, rose to fame, from the movies, right?" Tyler tries to lunge at him, but Vicki pulls him by the collar of his grey jacket and retorts with a smile, "Be nice, play nice?" "That's Elena Gilberts little brother?" Tyler looks over to her and retorts with a smile, "I know who he is. I can still kick his ass." She smiles and cups his face with her hands and kisses him and he responds to the kiss and Jeremy looks away, sad and annoyed.

*Back Inside- The Guidance Office/The Hallway*

Stefan is trying to get transcripts and files all in order with the lady behind the desk. Elena and Bonnie see him, and they comment about his body. Elena speaks and asks curious, "Who's this?" Bonnie nods, responds and retorts with a smile, "All I see is back. A hot back." Elena laughs. The lady says sternly to him, "Your missing records and we do need transcripts." Stefan takes his black sunglasses off and compels the lady now and says, 'Please, look again, I'm sure everything, you need, is right there.' She looks again and then, retorts with a smile, "Oh, you're right, so it is." Bonnie comments to Elena, "I'm sensing Seattle, and he plays the guitar?" Elena responds and retorts, "You're really, going to run this Physic thing, to the ground, huh?" Bonnie nods and retorts with a smile, "Pretty much." Elena laughs, then sees Jeremy in the hallway and goes to the bathroom and Elena sighs and retorts to her, "I'll be right back." Bonnie nods and she leaves. Bonnie pleads bout Stefan, "Please, be hot?"

*The Boys Bathroom/Outside of The Boys Bathroom- A Meeting/An Ambush*

Elena walks in and sees Jeremy putting eye drops, in his eyes and she walks over to him and grabs him by the chin and looks at him and comments upset, "Great, its the first day of school, and your stoned!" She lets go of him and he shakes his head and retorts with a smile, "No. I'm not!" She now responds and retorts trying to find his stash, "Where is it? Is it, on you?" He removes her hands from off of him and yells upset, "Stop, you need to chill yourself, alright?" She stops, responds and retorts with a smile, "Chill myself, what is that? Stoner Talk?" He says nothing and she continues and remarks, "Dude, you are so cool." She starts looking through his pockets again and he grabs her wrists and retorts serious, "Stop, I dont have anything on me? Are you crazy?!" She responds and retorts pissed off, "Oh, you haven't seen crazy, Jeremy? I gave you, a summer pass, but I am done watching you destroy yourself!" He tries to leave, and she pushes him back down on the sink and retorts, "You know what? Go ahead?" He glares at her as she continues, "Keep it up, but just know, that I'm going to be there, to ruin your buzz, every time? You got it!" He says nothing and she continues sternly, "Jeremy, I know who you are and its not this person. So, don't be this person!" He responds and retorts in not in the mood, I don't need this." He walks past her and leaves and she sighs.

*Back in The Hallway/The Guidance Office*

Stefan is enrolled and he thanks the lady and walks past Bonnie and she looks at him memorized and so does Caroline. Back inside, the boys bathroom, Elena leaves and accidently bumps into Stefan. He says with a smile, "Pardon me?" She looks at him memorized too and he asks, "Is this the mens room?" She nods and retorts embarrassed now, "Yes, um, I was just I was just, its a long story." He nods and smiles and she tries to leave, but he blocks her way twice and then, lets her go and she says with a smile, "Thank you." She leaves.

*Mr. Tanner's History Class*

Mr. Tanner is teaching the class bout history and speaks, "Once, our home state Virginia joined the Confederacy in 1861." Elena is sitting upfront, at her desk on the left side of the room. Matt is sitting at his desk, two seats back, on the right side of the room. He looks at Elena sad and Stefan is sitting at his desk, near the windowsill. Elena look over at Stefan and smiles. Stefan notices and smiles at her and she looks away, playing hard to get. Bonnie is sitting in front of Matt. Matt notices Stefan looking at Elena and sighs upset and then, Bonnie notices and texts her about it and Matt sees the text, from on Bonnie's phone. Elena gets the message and grabs her phone out of her bag and looks at the message, 'HAWT-e. Starring @ U.' Elena smiles.

*Mystic Falls Cemetery- The Afternoon*

Elena goes to the cemetery for some closure. She sits on the ground up against one of the many headstones in the mausoleum. She pulls her out her green diary and writes about the end of her school day. 'Dear diary, I made it through the day. I must have said, "I'm fine, thanks.", at least thirty-seven times. And I didn't mean it once. But no one noticed.'" She looks at her parents headstone in, front of her that says, 'In Memory, Grayson Gilbert and Miranda Sommers Gilbert. May 23, 2009. Loving Parents.' She looks at it sad and then continues writing in her diary. 'When someone asks, "How are you?", they really don't want an answer.'

The same black crow from before, lands on the headstone and it caws at her and she looks at her and says with a smile, "K. Hi bird." Fog appears in the cemetery and she comments, "That's not creepy or anything?" She continues writing and then, sees more fog surrounding her and looks scared now and then shoos the bird away. It leaves and she retorts upset, "That's what, I thought?" She turns back around and sees the bird in front, of her on the headstone and she gasps scared and then slowly kneels and grabs her bag and then, runs out of the cemetery away from the fog.

The bird turns into a man, hiding behind the tombstone and she sees, runs, and trips on the ground, near a tree and hurts her knee. She stands and looks behind herself and checks her surroundings cautiously and then, turns back to leave but see Stefan in front, of her. He speaks and asks concerned, "Are you k?" She nods, takes a deep breath and retorts in shock, "Were you, following me?" He shakes his head and retorts with smile, "No. I just saw you fall." She nods and cuts him off and retorts upset, "Un-huh, and you just happened to be hanging out in the cemetery?" He responds and retorts sternly, "I'm visiting. I have family here." She looks at him surprised and retorts with a smile, now, "Oh, wow. Stalkless. I'm sorry, its the fog. Its making me foggy." He smiles as she nods, continues, "And then, back there, there was this bird and it was very all Hitchcock for a second. That is the bird movie, right? The Hitchcock." He smiles at her and she laughs nervously and then, introduces herself to him, "I'm Elena." He responds and retorts, "I'm Stefan." She nods and retorts with a smile, "I know. We have history together." He nods and retorts with a smile and informs her, "And English, and French." She nods and retorts with a smile, "Rite." He sees a leave in her hand, and she notices, and he takes it out and drops it on the ground and she looks up at him and says with a smile, "Thanks." He smiles and then she sees his daylight ring and comments about the silver and blue crest, "Nice ring." He nods and retorts with a smile, "Oh, um, its a family ring. I'm kinda stuck with it. Its weird, huh?" She shakes her head and retorts impressed, "No. I just mean, they're rings and then, there's that." They smile. Then, he senses blood from when she tripped and asks concerned now, "Did you hurt yourself?" She looks at him confused and says, "What? Idk." She goes over to a rock and pulls the sleeve of her jeans up and sees a bruise above her ankle and comments, "Oh, would you, look at that? That is not pretty at all." He faces away from her, trying to control his hunger for blood and retorts to her sternly, "You should go, take care of that." She turns back to him and says with a smile, "Really, its nothing." He's gone and she looks sad.

*Back at The Salvatore Boarding House- Stefan's Bedroom/Office- Nighttime*

Stefan is sitting behind his desk, in his room, writing in his brown journal. 'I lost control today. Everything, I've kept buried inside, came rushing, to the surface... I'm simply, not able, to resist her.' Elena's journal is sitting on his desk, on top of his other journals.

*The Mystic Grill*

Vicki is working as a waitress at the grill. Jeremy walks in, sees her and talks to her. "Hey?" She now, responds and sternly, "I'm working." He sighs as she leaves and walks over to the table where Tyler and Matt. She gives Matt his order and he says with a smile, "Thanks Vik." She looks over to Tyler and asks with a smile, "Do you need a refill?" Tyler nods and retorts with a smile, "I'd love one." She grabs his cup and leaves and Tyler watches her go and looks at her butt and Matt comments upset and retorts in disbelief, "Please, tell me, you're not, hooking up with my sister?" Vicki walks past Jeremy, whose standing near the counter and she pays him no attention and he comments and rushes after her and says upset, "Hey, cmon? What's your deal? I mean, this summer, you suddenly, act one way and then, when, school starts back up, you cant be bothered?" She stops, sighs and looks over to him and retorts sternly, now, "Look, Jeremy, I really appreciate, all of the pharmacolites. But you can't keep, following me around, like a lost puppy?" He responds and remarks, "When's the last time, you had sex with a puppy?" She responds and says upset now, "Keep it down, alright!
