*Bulgaria, 1490- The Petrova House- Nighttime- Flashback*

Katherine, is laying, on her bed, on her back, in a fetal position and she's, giving birth, to her, daughter, Nadia. Her mother, Siliya and her sister, Madison are helping her deliver the baby and Katherine groans in pain and in discomfort, as she pushes and her mom says sternly in English and in Bulgarian, "A little more, dearest... a little more. Push... a little more. A little more, a little more. Push! Още малко, скъпа... Още малко. Напъвай... Още малко. Още малко, Още малко. Напъвай." Katherine does and the baby cries in her mothers arms and she comments and admits with a smile, "Its a girl. Момиче е." Katherine sits up and says surprised and shocked in English and in Bulgarian, "A girl. Please, mother... Let me, see her. Момиче? Моля те, майко... позволи ми да я видя." She puts her hands out now and her father, Markos. He shakes his head and protests serious and says pissed off to her, mom in English and in Bulgarian, "Siliya, don't! What are you, doing? Силия, недей! Какво правиш?" Her mother sighs and gives the baby to him and Katherine responds in English and in Bulgarian and pleads sad now, "Father, let me, at least, hold her, once... just once... at least, once. баща, Дай ми поне веднъж да я подържа... само веднъж... поне веднъж." She looks at him sad and reaches out for her, but he shakes his head and says sternly, in English and in Bulgarian, "Forget it... You have disgraced, this family! Позор.... Позор за нашето семейство!" Katherine shakes her head and yells upset and pleads sad in English and in Bulgarian, "Father, please! No, Father... No! No! Татко, моля те! Не, татко, моля те, не. Не!" He leaves, with the baby, in his arms. Her mother and sister rush over to her and hug her and her responds and says sternly and apologizes in English and in Bulgarian, "No, Katerina. It's better, for her! It's better, for her! Недей, Катерина. Така е по-добре за нея, Катерина. Така е по-добре за нея." Katherine shakes her head and says sad, crying, in English and in Bulgarian, "No, mother, please... Моля те, моля те не, мама." Her mother stops her, from chasing after, her dad and says sternly in English and in Bulgarian, "Let her go... let her go, Katerina. Остави я... остави я, Катерина." She stops fighting against her and continues crying and says sad in English and in Bulgarian, "Please, Mama... Мама, моля те." Madison speaks in English and Bulgarian and says sternly, trying to comfort her, "I'm sorry, sis. It's going to be okay, Katherina. Mom's right. Съжалявам се. Ще бъде добре, Катeрина. Мама е права." Katherine shakes her head and says still sad, "I know, little sis... No, its not. Знам, сестричка. Не, не е." They say nothing else, as Katherine continues crying, sad.

*Back in Virginia, Mystic Falls, The Present Day, Morning- The Salvatore Boarding House- The Hallway- An Ambush/The Ballroom- A Meeting*

Elena is outside, standing on the porch, and she knocks on the door. She's wearing, an aqua green sweater and black jeans and tennis shoes on. She's carrying, a brown computer bag, on her right shoulder. Damon is wearing, a black sweater and black jeans and black boots on. He walks over to, the door and he opens it and says sternly, "Hi, Elena." He smiles at her. She nods and asks sternly, "Is Stef, here? He called, said it was important." Damon nods, lets her in and says sternly, now, "Right this, way..." She nods and walks in and he closes the door and she walks down the hall and she sees Stefan. He's wearing, a purple hoodie, blue shirt and black jeans and black boots on. Stefan walks over to her and says sternly, "Hey." She nods and asks sternly, "What, is this, bout?" He moves aside, she sees Rose standing behind him, she's wearing, a black jacket vest, a brown sweater, and black pre-ripped jeggings and brown boots on. She looks shocked and comments upset, "You?" Rose smiles, and, waves at her. Elena looks back to him, upset and he sighs.

In the Ballroom, Elena is sitting, in the couch. Damon is sitting, on the arm of a chair, across from Stefan, on the other side, of the room, on the arm, of a chair. Rose is pacing back and forth and says sternly and reveals bout Klaus Mikaelson, "K, you have to understand, I only know, what I've picked up, over the years? Idk, what's true and or what's not true? That's problem, with all this, vampire crap! But Klaus, I know is real." Elena shrugs her shoulders and retorts confused, "Well, who is he?" Damon responds and retorts with a smile, "An Original. He's a legend." Stefan sighs and admits sternly, "The first generation, of vampires." Elena nods and recalls sternly, "You mean, like Elijah?" Rose shakes her head and says sternly, "No. Elijah was the Easter Bunny, compared to Klaus! He's a foot soldier, Klaus is the real deal." Damon rolls his eyes and scoffs with a smile and Stefan responds and admits sternly, "Klaus is known, to be the Oldest." Elena nods and remarks with a smile, "K, so what, you're saying, is that the oldest vampire, in the history of time, is coming after me?!" Rose nods and says sternly, "Yes." She smiles and Stefan shakes his head and says sternly, "No." Damon interjects and retorts with a smile, "What, she's saying?" He stands near Rose and continues, "What, she's saying, if its true?" She shakes her head and admits with a smile, "It is." He nods and remarks with a smile, "You're not, just saying this, so, I don't kill you?" She shakes her head and retorts with a smile, "I'm not." Damon nods and continues and says sadly, "Then, we're looking at a solid 80%." She nods and says nothing, still processing this information and Stefan gets up, walks over to her, sits near her and admits with a smile, "Elijah is dead, so nobody, even knows, of your existence!" He rests a hand on her leg, in a comforting matter and Rose interjects and retorts sternly, "Nobody, that you're aware of, or that you know of?" Damon shakes his head and retorts with a smile, "That's not helping!" Rose scoffs and she glares at him upset and Stefan nods and continues, "I have never met anyone, whose even laid eyes, on her. I mean, we're talking about, centuries of Truth mixed with Fiction. We don't know, what's real. I mean, for all we know, Klaus could just be, some stupid, bedtime story?" Rose stands and says serious, "He's real and he doesn't give up. If he wants something, he gets it! If you're not afraid Klaus, then you're an idiot?!" Damon nods and remarks with a smile, "Thank you, we're all shaken, to our cores. You've made, your point!" Rose says nothing else, tired. Elena gets up and starts for the door and Stefan looks over to her and comments confused and asks sternly, "Where are you going?" She faces him and lies, "School. I'm late." He nods, walks over to her and retorts with a smile, "K, well, let me, grab my stuff and I'll go with you?" She shakes her head and retorts with a smile, "That's k, I know where it is!" He sighs and nods hurt, and she leaves. Damon comments to Rose and remarks with a smile, "She's in Denial!" Rose says nothing and sighs and Stefan faces them, and says upset, to him, "Shut up, Damon!" He smiles.

*Mystic Falls High- The Parking Lot- An Ambush/A Meeting*

Bonnie is getting, out of her car, carrying, a history book and a folder of papers inside and she now, accidently, drops it on the ground and she says upset, "Damn it." She's wearing, a light pink coat, with lace to it. A black and white cheetah top, with a print to it and black jeans and black boots on. Jeremy sees her, laughs and rushes over to her and says with a smile, "Here. Let me?" She nods and laughs and says with a smile, "Thanks." He's wearing, a white and brown plaid jacket, white shirt and brown jeans and black boots on. He grabs the book and folder of papers and puts the papers back, inside, of, it and lays it, in her hands and says sternly, "There you go." She nods and asks sternly, "Where's Elena?" He sighs and admits with a smile, "She's, um, running, a bit late today." She nods and they walk together, and he looks over to her and asks with a smile, "What are you doing later? Do you want, to go to the Grill, later? Shoot some pool." She looks at him astonished and comments confused, "Why?" He looks at her surprised and retorts confused now, "Why what, Bon?" She nods and asks curious, "Well, you've never asked me, to play pool, before? Why now?" He nods and retorts with a smile, "Idk, I thought it be fun? Never mind." She grabs him by the arm and retorts with a smile, "No. Hey, k. Sure." He nods, faces her as she continues and retorts with a smile, "Its just, your Elena's little, brother..." He laughs as she continues and retorts with a smile, "Sure." He nods, laughs as she continues and admits sadly, "I'm really bad, at Pool." He nods and remarks with a smile, now, "Yea, I thought, you'd might be."

An African American guy, with black hair, he's 17. He's wearing, a black jacket, a black t-shirt, black jeans and black boots on. He walks over to them, carrying a school bag, on his left shoulder and he asks sternly, "Hey, excuse me?" Jeremy and Bonnie look over to him as he continues and asks with a smile, "Do you guys, know, which way, the office is?" Bonnie smiles at him and Jeremy nods and says sternly, "Yeah, through the double doors and straight ahead, quick left and then, you're first right. You must be new here?" The guy nods and sadly, "Yea, I am. Its kinda hard to hide it. My name is Luka." He puts his hand out and Jeremy shakes it and says sternly, "I'm Jeremy." He lets go of his hand and then comments to Bonnie and says with a smile, "This is Bonnie." Bonnie smiles at him and Luka notices and says with a smile, "Hi, Bonnie." Bonnie says nothing and Jeremy notices the connection, between them and then, says sternly, "Anyway, Luka. I'm actually, heading, in that direction, why don't you, follow me? It can be a bit confusing." Luka nods and says with a smile, "K, thanks, man." Jeremy starts walking and Luka says, sternly to Bonnie, "Its nice, to meet you, Bonnie." She nods and smiles, as he leaves.

*The Woods- The Fell's Church/The Tomb- A Meeting*

Caroline and Elena, are walking, through the forest of trees, on their way, to Fell's Church and to The Tomb, to see Katherine. Caroline is wearing, a purple jacket, a purple, white and black plaid crop top and black pre-ripped jeggings, with black boots on. Elena speaks and says sternly, "Tell everybody, that I wasn't feeling well and that I went home, from school, because I'm sick." Caroline sighs and retorts in disbelief, "I can't believe, I'm agreeing, to this! I'm a terrible liar." Elena shakes her head and retorts serious, "Keep Stefan, busy, I don't want him, to know, what I'm up to." They stop at the well, as Caroline responds and says upset now, "I'm even worse, at Duplicity and you know this!" Elena nods and recalls with a smile, "You managed, to keep me, occupied, when Katherine paid Stefan, a visit?" Caroline nods and admits sadly, "Yea, but that was because, she threatened me, and I was scared of her! Being with her? Conflicted bout her. I didn't want to upset her or piss her off, in the process either. Not that, I'm saying, you should use all that, as a tactic, its just..." Elena faces her, as she nods, continues and admits, "Stefan is going to, see right through me?!" Elena sighs and looks at her sad and asks sternly, "Care, I'm sorry. That you felt way and what she did to you, was wrong and how she treated you, wasn't k, either. I'd never do that, to you. But as my friend, do you, promise me or not?" Caroline nods and retorts with a smile, now, "You had to break out, the girlfriend code, k. I promise." Elena nods and says with a smile, "Thank you."

Then, they go down, the steps and Caroline nods, asks sternly and comments confused, "Why don't you, want Stefan to know?" Elena sighs and retorts with a smile, "Because he'd never be k, with me, doing this!" Caroline sighs and they walk over to the door, of the tomb and Caroline comments and asks worried, "And, you're sure, you want to do this?" Elena nods and admits sternly, "Yes, I'm sure. She's the only one, who knows, the truth about Klaus. The only one, who may know how or able to stop him, herself." Caroline nods and remarks with a smile, "K, but you're asking for the truth, from somebody, who's never giving it? It was hard, to get it, out of her, of why she turned me. But down the line, she did tell me, why." Elena looks at her surprised now and asks sternly, "Why did she, Care?" Caroline sighs and admits with a smile, "She said, it was because, she needed someone, to be her eyes and ears, but also, it was because, she actually liked me." Elena looks at her surprised and comments with a smile, "Wow, Care." Caroline nods and then asks again, I know. Are you, really sure, about this?" Elena nods and admits sad, now, "Yes, I can't just sit back and wait. I have to know, Caroline?" Caroline nods and goes over, to the star symbolled door and uses her vampire strength and moves the door, to the side and lays it, on the wall. She stands back near Elena and Elena takes a step forward, to the threshold and yells sternly, "Katherine?" She gets no response and then looks back over to Caroline and says sternly, "I'll be k, from here." Caroline glares at her and opens her mouth, to say something, but then, they hear footsteps coming, into the clearing, and they, look, back, to the doorway and see Katherine, walk over, to the threshold, in the same dress, from the Masquerade Ball and she's weak and her face is ashen and she leans against the wall, and, her voice, is, a little strained and she says sternly, "Hello, Elena."

*A Few Minutes Later- A Meeting*

Caroline is still there and she glares at Katherine, upset. Katherine continues and asks with a smile, now, "Have you, come to watch me, wither away?" Elena says nothing and Katherine looks over to Caroline, upset and hurt, by her betrayal and says pissed off, "I was nothing, but good to you, and then, you betrayed me, so goodbye, Caroline!" Caroline says nothing, sad. Elena looks back, over to Caroline, nods and says with a smile, "Its k. As long as I, stay on the other side, of the threshold, she can't, hurt me. Please?" Caroline nods and leaves.

Elena takes, a step, forward and lays her bag, down, on a table. Katherine comments and asks curious, "Does Stefan, know, you're here?" Elena ignores her question and admits with a smile, "I brought you, some things." Katherine nods and remarks with a smile, "You came here, to bribe me. What is it that, you want?" Elena drops a blanket down, on the ground and then says sternly, now, "I want you, to tell me, about Klaus Mikaelson?" Katherine looks at her astonished now and comments impressed, with a smile, "Ooh, you've been busy." Elena nods and takes out The Petrova History and Bloodline book and shows it, to her and says sternly, "I also, brought you, this!" Katherine looks at it, surprised and says nothing shocked and Elena comments and retorts with a smile, "Its your family history. It says in here, that the family line, ended, with you?" Katherine says nothing and glares at her upset as she continues and says sadly, "Obviously, that's not true." Katherine nods and scoffs with a smile, "You thought that, if you, brought me, some family keepsake, I'd open up?" Elena nods, sighs, puts the book, back down, on the table and then grabs a bottle, of Caroline's blood and shows it, to her, as an example and says with a smile, "I also, brought you this?" Katherine looks at it and tries to flash over to her, Elena gasps in surprise and takes a step back. Katherine can't get out, because of the barrier and she sighs sad. Elena comments sternly and remarks with a smile, "You don't look, so good? How long, before your body, shuts down? Ten, twenty years?" Katherine says nothing, looking at the bottle mesmerized and in hunger as Elena continues and admits with a smile, "It must be painful, to desiccate and mummify, I can't even imagine." Katherine glares at her angry and then leans against, the left side of the wall, sits on the ground, near the threshold.

Elena sits, on, her blanket and undo's the cap and pours, a little, in a shot glass and Katherine, looks over to her, as she grabs a stick and slides it, the glass, over to her side, of the tomb and Katherine grabs the glass and comments with a smile, "You've got the Petrova fire." Elena smiles and Katherine takes a sip, of the blood and her face, looks better, but she's still weak and sore. Katherine looks back over to her, sad and Elena comments and asks sternly, "More blood?" Katherine nods, sits the glass, back down and Elena grabs the stick, again and slides it, back over to her side and refills the glass as Katherine speaks and reveals sternly, bout her and Klaus, "Its a long story, about Klaus and I..." Elena nods, sits the glass back down and slides it, over to her side, as Katherine continues, "It goes all the way back, to England 1492, after I left Bulgaria." She grabs the glass and retorts with a smile, "Or, I was thrown out?" She drinks and Elena looks at her shocked and comments confused, "Thrown out?" Katherine nods, sits the glass back down and admits sad, now, "My family, your true ancestors... They disowned me. My indiscretions were not tolerated, back then. I had a baby girl, out of a wedlock." Elena looks at her surprised and says sternly, "It was kept, a secret?" Katherine nods and reveals sad, "My baby, Nadia Petrova. She was giving away, without my consent." Elena says nothing, and, looks, at her sad now as she reveals sternly, "I was banished to England, and I had to learn, to adjust. So, I quickly became English. I was there and I caught the eye, of a nobleman, named Niklaus Mikaelson." Elena says nothing as she continues and admits with a smile, "I was, taken, with them, at, first. Sold to him, on, his birthday, as his sex slave..." Elena looks down sad again by that, but looks back to her, in sincerity, as she continues and reveals hurt, "Until, I found out, what he, and, his brother was.... What Klaus, truly wanted, from me, and then, I ran like Hell!"

*1492, England- A Castle/The Woods- Afternoon- Flashback*

Katherine is wearing, a purple and light blue dress and she's running through, forest, at a fast pace and she's hiding, from Elijah and his men. She trips on a thorn and cuts the left side, of her face up and she hides, behind, a barrel of hay and Elijah says sternly, to Trevor and his men, now, "She's here. Katherina, I know, you're near?" She says nothing as he continues and says serious, "I can, smell, your blood. Its pointless, to run, Klaus will find you, wherever, you are?!" Trevor appears and points to the right and says sternly, "This way. There's more blood, over there." Elijah nods and goes in that direction and his men follow. Katherine sighs in relief and gets up, stands near a tree and looks around, her surroundings and then starts to run again, but Trevor appears, in front of her and covers her mouth, with his hand and puts her back up, against the tree and she looks at him shocked and scared now and he makes sure, no one's around and then looks back to her and says with a smile, "Head east, I can't lead them, astray much longer." She nods and admits sadly, "I can't run, anymore." He sighs and retorts with a smile, "Never mind... There's a cottage, you'll be, safe, there!" She nods in understanding and he continues, and, says sternly, "Go there. Now, go!" She nods and runs.
