We drove in silence for a while before Will turned on the radio, which started playing Taylor Swift's today was a fairy tale. I glanced over at Will and saw that he was wearing a dark grey t-shirt, just like the song. He happened to look down at his t-shirt too and we both bursted out laughing.

'Pity you are not wearing a dress.' He said, ' not that you don't look good.' he added hastily, then ran a hand through his hair blushing slightly, that's so cute, I thought to myself and smiled at him.

'Thanks, you don't look half bad yourself.' I replied, he was wearing a dark grey polo shirt and a pair of low slung jeans, I guess this is as good as guys can go without wearing a suit, not that he didn't look good. We then started to chat about school works, food and music, then after half an hour or so Will pulled up in front of a posh little diner that I had never seen before.

Will hopped off the car quickly and ran to my side to open my door for me before I could, then extending one hand to help me out like those Victorian Englishmen. I can't helped but laughed as he even took a little bow. I linked my arm with his and we walked towards the diner.

'Where exactly are we?' I asked, we were in an isolated part of town that looked screamed wealth. I looked up at the diner's sign in curiosity, it read 'Ruby's Diner' in bright red neon light, and the restaurant looked really posh with its black bricks bathed in setting sun's light.

A waiter opened our door when we go in and asked if we had made reservation to which Will replied yes. So this is a posh restaurant. We were lead down to a quiet corner booth and our menus handed to us.

I flipped open the menu, so it's an Italian restaurant, I so can't tell from the name. I glanced at the price and my jaw almost dropped open in shock, this restaurant is such a rip off! I stuck my tongue out at the menu, Will saw it and laughed. The students in our school all tend to be quite well off so a meal like this occasional wasn't really a problem for them, it's just that I would much rather not spent my money if there is somewhere equally good with half the price.

Will ordered a seafood dish while I went for a chicken pasta dish (I forgot the name of the dishes, they were complicated). Will was going to order wine for us but I don't drink (I just don't really like the taste of it) so we ordered Pepsi instead. We sat in silence for a while before Will started a conversation.

'So Anna, why did you agree to go out with me?' He teased, after the week in school I felt a lot more comfortable around him, there are still some awkward silence here and there, but we got on quite well, and I really like him. He doesn't seems like the normal type of players or shallow guy who usually crown the seat of popular guys, or those apparent super sensitive guys in romance story, he is real.

'Well, I wouldn't say it's because of your charm.' I teased back, Will laughed heartily and leaned forward, his hands almost touching mine. My heartbeat starts to quickened and I willed myself not to draw back and blush like an idiot. I didn't draw back, but I can't helped with the blush. Darn it!

'Gina told me it's your first date.' He said, his intoxicating chocolate-brown eyes bored right into mine, damn Gina and her big mouth! This is just embarrassing. He smiled at me, lifting a hand to stroke my left cheek. ' Don't be embarrassed, I like being your first date.'

He leaned closer, just as I thought I was finally going to have my first kiss, a waitress cleared her throat loudly, scaring me causing me to practically leaped backwards into my chair. Will looked disappointed for a second, then saw my reaction and just about suppressed a laugh.

I felt a bit disappointed too but kind of relieved, but mostly embarrassment. I took a few deep breaths as the waitress set down our food. I noticed the waitress glared at me as she put my pasta in front of me, she also looked a bit familiar and around Will's age, that probably meant she goes to our school too, she probably stopped us because she had a crush on Will, and our dinner date will probably be all over the school by Monday. Just great.

Will didn't seemed to notice the waitress's attempt to flirt at him, which I found rather hilarious. I thought popular guys are meant to be super receptive to these kind of things, or maybe he just doesn't want to act like a total player in front of me and ruined our date. Either way, it's still funny and I am happy about it.

I told him about it after the waitress left and we started our food (about her flirting, not him possibly pretending not to be a player). We had a good laugh about it, especially since she returned to give us our drinks and battered her eyelashes at Will that almost created a drift. I very nearly choked on my pasta there, that would have been disastrous for a first date.

After dessert (Italian gelato are the best) and Will paying (he insisted that it was his treat and won't let me pay my share), we headed back to the car. It was dark outside already and 8pm, the party doesn't start until 9 but Will promised to help Nick set up so we drove there directly.

Nick's house is in the super rich part of town, where every house is practically an estate. Tall trees lining either side of the road with a grass patch between the road and the board stone paved pavements that are clean with beautifully crafted wooden benches every ten meters or so. Every house is different to each other, designer houses.

Nick's house is a handsome white washed half-castle looking house. Will had to speak through an intercom before we were let in through the electrical gates, his house had Greek-themed fence all the way around with hedges on the inside of the house, and a large swimming pool that is partially indoor with a water slide. Man, this guy is too rich.

Nick greeted us at the door (he let us in through the intercom). 'We are trying to put on some decoration around the pool and the house, I will go and lock the doors to my parent's rooms.' he said, waving the keys in his hands and letting us in. There were a few people rushing back and forth holding things like exotic flowers and beach balls.

Nick ran upstairs to lock the rooms, which I think it's a great idea, at least this way you won't find out your computer got destroyed by some idiot pouring alcohol on it (that's what happened to our home computer when Dylan had his leaving party, luckily I backed up all my files, but the rest of my family were not so lucky.)

Will left with some guys unloading beers from a van outside and I followed the noise to the pool, There were a bunch of people unloading inner tubes, water guns, beach balls, deck chairs etc out of a big van at the garage. One of the girl whom I recognised from lunch table waved at me for help.

We scattered inner tubes randomly into the pool while the guys set up the deck chairs around it. A DJ and his crew turned up and started installing his station equipments and blasted music as we worked. Some people who I assumed are decorators (they are definitely too old to be in our school) put up floral decorations and hanging flower chains across the pool top on trees. This placed looked so posh that I would honest thought it's a resort there.

'Anna, Alison is here, she is looking for you.' A guy popped out from the house said, I think he is a basketball player called Liam, I smiled and thanked him before heading inside to find her.

People were rushing around inside preparing for the party to start, Nick actually hired caterers to cook all sort of beach-related food, like seafood dishes and snacks, even sushi. There was also a long table full of all kind of beverages known to men, he really is taking this party seriously.

I caught sight of Alison waving at me like a mad woman on top of Nick's house huge spiral staircase. She was wearing white ripped denim shorts, platform flip-fop and a semi-see through black lace top with a white bikini underneath. She gestured for me to go upstairs, I lifted an eyebrow at her but she rolled her eyes and jerked her hand towards herself looking inpatient. Fine.

'Come on, you need to get change.' She said, picking up a bag which she left next to her, I protested against changing, but she took a look at my clothes and shook her head. 'That outfit was for the dinner date with Will, this one' she gestured at her bag. 'is for this party, which has a beach theme, you can't go into the pool with those boots.' She concluded with her head held high and dragged me up the stairs into the massive bathroom.

There she attacked me and striped me and forced me to change into a blue and white stripped halter neck bikini top and matching bottom, a pair of acid washed ripped denim shorts and a dark blue semi-see through chiffon tube top. She put all the clothes that I took off into the bag while I looked in the mirror, I was showing more skin than I am normally comfortable with, at least the bikini is also a tube top so I am not showing half my boobs like some of the cheerleaders out there.

She also wiped off my make up and just applied some eyeliners and mascara back on, which she told me was in case I get in the pool. It won't be pretty if my make up ran off.

I looked at the mirror again frowning, Alison looked up and winked at me through the mirror. ' You looked great, don't worry too much!' She said, handing me an almost identical pair of her flip-flops, I put them on and we headed back outside. I tried to pull my shorts down a little, but it wasn't budging. Darn it!

I transferred the taser from my clutch to the pocket of my shorts just in case (not my phone, in case someone push me down the pool, I think the taser will survive). Alison refused to let me walk around with the clutch, and said that I would have lost it somewhere during the party anyway, which I guessed is true. She put the stuff in a random closet and barred it with a broom. I raised my eyebrow at her, she laughed. ' Trust me, it's safer like this, people will get too drunk and they won't bothered trying a second time. Last time someone throw up all over my stuff, it was not pretty.'

I guessed we took longer than I thought, because by the time we reached the staircase, quite a few people had already arrived. Most took a bottle of beer and headed straight out to the pool, while some stayed and ate and chat.

Then Nick appeared on the other staircase (yes, there is two, opposite each other, like those super rich house in the movies, tacky I know) with his friends holding water guns and started shooting people with it and chasing them, including me and Alison outside, we both screamed and ran towards the pool. And that, was how my first party started.

I know this chapter isn't particularly exciting, but I don't want Anna and Will's first date to be too much of a mess. So I hope you guys enjoyed it!
