Maybe I should send an SOS text to him? Let him know heads up Lucifer herself was coming to take him to his grave. Thoughts kept drifting in my head though like I knew Karin was a man hoe, but what did he do to piss of the Camila Steele?

Parking my car in Karin drive way I glance over at Camila who already bolted out the passenger door.  Storming up to his front door she didn't even knock she just entered.

Pulling out my phone I send a quick text to Karin: 'Hey whatever you do don't open your door. Camila Steele is coming for you.'

See guys I'm a decent friend? It just occurred to me that I'm currently skipping school. I never skipped school before my even when I was sick.  Hope this didn't go on my permanent record.

This is what I should be worrying about right now is my permanent record. Camila is inside probably murdering my best friend and here I was concerned with skipping.

Debating to myself if I should get out the car and try help my best friend I open my truck door.

Approaching the front door I get a text back from Karin. 'Too late.'  Rushing I run up stairs to see Karin armadillo style trying protect himself from Camilas rage.

"How dare you!" She screeches and grabs the nearest thing she could find—- a stuffed bear and chugs it at him.

"How dare I what? Your the one currently trespassing, assaulting, should I go on?" Karin suggests while still trying protect his face.

He dealt wasn't helping his case at all. Talk about typical guys. Good thing his mom was already gone to work this would've been difficult to explain. I still didn't know what fully transpired between these two either.

"How dare you tell everyone we slept together!" She screeches while continually slapping his arms. She always assaults arms she needs anger management and better standards. Hey he maybe my best friend but he's a player.

"We did, though." He dumbly states trying to escape Camila. There was no escape for him even if I intervened she would easily take us both down. WWE style.

Finally becoming exhausted Camila breathes heavily; "We both was drunk. It should of never even happened."

Raising my eyes brows I look at my best friend who had a sheepish look on his face.

"It did happen though we can't change the past." Why would I even try warn this fool he kept digging a hole for himself. A hole to hell that was.

"If I was sober I wouldn't of even slept with someone like you!" Camila yells slamming Karins bedroom door.

Brutal. Camila Steele eyes that kill wasn't the only thing that could kill her words were like a knife they cut through my friends heart.

Looking up at me disheveled; Karin sits back up on his bed. "You know drunk mind, sober thoughts?" He questions while rubbing his head.

Trying to cheer him up I come near him and pat his back. "True buddy I'm sorry that happened."

"I'm not." He then cracks up laughing clutching his stomach.

"Your crazy you know that? One of these days all your wildness will catch up with you." I scold him like a mother scolding their child.

"Yeah. Seems like it always has why did you give her a ride here?" He asks fake shockingly.

Rubbing my neck I reply; "I didn't have much of a choice, Barbie about took off my arm if I didn't."

"Brutal, bro. Well I need go throw up in the toilet I'll see you later and at least you tried warn me."

"That's true and I guess I need give her a ride back right? That would be the polite thing to do."  I question rubbing my chin in thought.

"Even though I kind of dislike her right now. Yeah it's the right thing to do."  Karin smiles at me and leaves for the bathroom.

That's the thing about my best friend he maybe wild but he was always thinking of others even if he was a major play boy.
——————-/-/

Exiting Karins house door I was surprised to find Camila with her hands in her head on the front porch steps.

"Uh, hi." Was all I could muster after having that display she showed my friend in his room. Besides I didn't want to trigger her and become her next target.

"What do you want?" She spits out venom still hanging from her words. I need be careful what I say next to her.

"Just checking on you." I honestly say leaning against the porch railing. It was afternoon now school should be letting out in a few. There was no reason to go back. What an eventful day it was though.

Something told me nothing about Camila Steele was boring or average. I bet everyday for her was an adventure. For all of our sakes I hope it wasn't an adventure to all the people she slept with houses.

Sensing what I was thinking Camila says; "You know I never done this before."

"Which part? Assaulting someone or hitching a ride with a geek like me?" I question glancing down at her noticing her fidgeting with her hands.

"All of it basically. I never was the type to sleep with randoms and I am sorry for almost tearing off your arm." She says sincerely looks up at me with her stone eyes.

"Not a big deal. My little sister puts me through worse." I add jokingly flexing my forearm to show her I was okay.

Camila breaks out laughing. Actually laughter from the ice queen herself. It was a nice kind of laugh, the kind of laugh that made you laugh even harder.

"You know for a nerd, your not half as bad." She slightly smiles getting up.

"You know for one of the queen bees your not half as bad either."  As we walk back to my truck in peaceful silence all I could think was
there was many sides to Camila Steele. One those sides I never wanted to get on.

When I arrived home I got chewed out for skipping school. Who would thought the school would call and notify my father I missed. They were very diligent with authority.

As punishment I wasn't allowed go anywhere for a week and I had to write: 'I won't skip school anymore' hundred times. By far not the worse punishment ever especially for a invert like me.

Changing into sleeping pajamas I crawl into bed and open up one of my all time favorites: Looking for Alaska by John Greene. I loved his worked what could I say I was a sucker for a good tragedy.

Engrossed in my reading I almost missed my phone buzzing. Yes I skipped school and still had my phone I'm a lucky teenager.

      From Unknown:
          "Hey, geek."

     Frowning I respond back:

          "Who is this?" :p

      Unknown: *is typing*
                         *is typing*

Who else hates when people do that? Just continually typing you can't even read what they are typing.

     Unknown:
"It's Camila. Sorry my WiFi is really slow which sucks. I just wanted say thanks for today I know I flew off the handle a little..."

     Me:
"It's okay. I think I would've too if I was in your shoes but I wouldn't of gone as far.. not that you went far. How did you get my number?"

  Camila:
"Karin actually gave it to me. Out of all the people in the world the one I currently hate gave me your number."

Me: "How did that happen?" I curiously question.

Camila: *is typing*......

You gotta be kidding me? Slow WiFi is the absolute worse thing ever next to wheat bread.
     Yes I went there.

Camila: Well.. after the little incident I texted him and told him he was a grade A** and then he apologized which I didn't forgive him... but I asked for your number. I knew he was the only one who had it."

Me: "What makes you think he's the only one? I could of gave my number to Snowflake."

Camila: "lol. Snowflake? No human is named that who is that? Your dog?"

Me: "Excuse you. He is my precious snow fluff ball kitten. I rather have his company over humans any day." I type defending snowflakes honor.

Camila: "Is that so? I was hoping you would meet with me in the music room tomorrow?"

I reread and reread what Camila typed what in the world did she want with me and in the music room of all places.

Me: "I'll think about it." I shut off my phone and drift back into the world of fantasy
