When I woke up this morning , I wasn't expecting guests until later on through out the day.

Let alone one coming through my window. I reach out debating if I should give them a gentle nudge causing them to fall off my roof or if I should holster them up here.

Deciding I should be a decent person I pull on the person's arm which revealed who was stuck.

Karin freaking Lucas. Oh my god my best friend was back! The way he came to my house though did cause me to raise some red flags. Did he escape rehab? If so who did he get to help?

"You know that use to be easier when we was kids." He jokingly adds trying to lighten the mood. He runs a hand through his jet black hair and looks at me with his baby blue eyes.

I run into his arms and bury my face in his chest. Even if I did have a thousand questions all I wanted to do in this moment was hug him and never let him go again.

He lets out another shaky laugh holding my small frame of a body with his giant one.

"I bet you have so many questions." Karin states already knowing what's on my mind. He was my best friend it was like we shared the same brain to some degree.

Karin Lucas had never been good with timing. Today was the gala and he just magically appears out of thin air.

"I thought you had a couple more months." I say gesturing about his treatments.

Karin slightly frowns at me, but quickly replaces it with a smile. "I got out early. It's kind of like jail if your good enough, they will let you out for good behavior." He jokes but I frown at him a little.

"Come on, Eve. Lighten up your bestie is free! Well as long as I follow some rules and your parents have to watch over me." Karin mumbles looking back at the window he crawled in.

"Wait a minute, your going be living here?" I excitingly ask. I know it's only been like a month but I missed my best friend. Having him here would be so awesome.

"Yeah, your looking at your new roommate." Karin pats my head like how he used to do when we was little and let's go of me.

Catching up with Karin was fun in a sense but my so called love life had even his head confused.

"You kissed Camila?" Karin shockingly asks. I don't know why he was shocked maybe because he thought he was the only one who could get with her or something.

"That's not all, I actually kissed or she kissed me Axial first." I state watching at my best friend lays down on my bed trying take it all in.

"Okay, so you kissed two of the queen bees. What about Fiona?" He curiously asks then looks at the black dress next to him.

"No I haven't kissed her. I don't even think she's gay." I sigh taking a seat in my gamer chair.

"Yeah and I'm the straightest white boy ever." Karin sarcastically adds fiddling with my dress.

"Go ahead and ask." I say gesturing towards the black dress. I knew my best friend better than I knew myself. Anytime Karin fiddled with anything he had a burning question he was dancing around.

"What's the dress for?" Karin curiously asks.

"The Field's Gala." I reply nonchalantly like it wasn't that big of a deal.

Karin eyes narrow at me. "Who are you going with, besides me?"

That's what I loved about my best friend he always was trying to include himself in my life. One time I tried out for soccer in middle school and he didn't make the team so he tripped one of our class mates Chris and managed to sprain his ankle.  Let's just say Karin got on the team.

"Fiona Fields." I quietly mumble hoping he didn't hear me.

"FIONA FIELDS?!" My best friend screeches causing me to rush over to him and cover his mouth.

Which didn't turned out as plan because I end up toppling over him leaving me on top of him. I swear if anyone came through that door they would think the worse.

I must be the unluckiest person alive. I was still on Karin who just wiggled his eye brows at me which causes me to roll my eyes back at him.

The bedroom door open revealing my mother.

"What in the blazes is going on here?" My mother asks her eyes quarter sized wide. Why did adults keep finding me in compromising positions.

"I'm going make you a grandkid, of course." Karin smooth talk kicks in and that's not the only thing either. I kick him in his shin and quickly get off him.

My mother looked confused then she gives Karin a hard glare. "Karin I thought you was going come through the front door."

"I wanted surprise Eve." Karin sheepishly says. Running his injured shin.  Oh now he was playing a shy boy. Too late for that pal.

"How you get up here?" Mom integrated farther. Oh, no if she found out he got in through the window than there went our escape route.

Karin runs the back of his neck something he done out of habit and quickly looks over at the window.

My mother quickly follows pursuit and shuts the window. "Karin it's nice that your back and Evelyn we are going put a lock on your window." My mother states then closes the bedroom door.

I glare at my best friend wanting to kick him in the shin again for busting my escape route.

"Don't look at me like that. I didn't say one word." Karin says throwing his hands up in surrender.

"Your Karin, you don't have to say anything." I sarcastically state rolling my eyes at him.

"Back to our conversation, you don't do dresses." Karin confusingly says.

"You know I actually like this one." I sheepishly admit. I was usually all decked out with suites and dress shirts, but it was like this dress was calling my name. Plus my mother was happy to see me in a dress.

"As long as your happy." Karin reaches out towards me and pinches my left cheek like my grandma always does.

I swat his hand away then embrace my best friend back in my arms for another hug.
