We stood in front of Blake's door waiting for her to open the door. "Uh, hey guys," Blake said as she opened the door for us. I was about to head towards the kitchen before Blake gave me a sympathetic look and whispered, "let her explain before you freak out!" I had no idea what the hell she was talking about and when I walked into the kitchen, I finally understood why she was called Poison Ivy!

Emerald's POV

I raised my eyebrow at Blake as I followed her into the kitchen. I was immediately handed a cup from Troy, "Oh, your really gonna need this" he said as he gave me a sympathetic smile. What the hell is wrong with everyone and why are they looking at me like I'll break any minute, I thought as I sipped the tequila in my cup. "You must be the new girl, everybody was talking about," I deep raspy voice spoke as I turned around to face a very handsome guy. I raised my eyebrow looking at every face in the room and they all tried their hardest to ignore me. "Uh, yeah I'm Emerald, who are you?" I asked as I extended my hand for him to shake.

He ignored my hand, "I'm Avery, Ivy's boyfriend," he replied with a smug smirk on his face. As soon as the word boyfriend left his mouth the cup I was holding immediately hit the floor. "What's going on in here," the voice I've grown to love spoke as she stepped towards me. I immediately stepped back and looked at each face in the kitchen. I bitterly chuckled, "you all knew and no one said anything," I laughed again to hide the tears that were threatening to fall, "Wow, I thought we were friends, but I guess the jokes on me," I said before facing the one person who had single handedly caused me so much pain. "Lose my number and do me a favor forget you ever knew me, Miss Ivy Wright," I said as I headed for the door.

"Emerald wait," I heard her yell as I grabbed a pair of keys of the hook and hopped in one of Blake's many cars. I speed out the drive way, I didn't know where I was going but I knew I had to get out of that house and far away from all things that reminded me of Ivy Wright. I turned on the radio I figured music always calmed me so why not now.

When you left I lost a part of me

Nope not happening, I thought as I angrily changed the song.

Seriously Adele, they must really want me to be in fucking tears but Ivy didn't deserve my tears, not anymore. I was 100% done with her, I thought as I turned the station and as Ariana's Almost is Never Enough, played I found myself pulling over and letting my emotions take over.

How could she do this to me after I told her I would be there for her. I told her if a friendship was all she needed then I would gladly give her just that. I was open with her, I gave her my friendship and my heart on a silver platter and she squashed it like a bug. I furiously wiped the tears of my face and started the care back up as I headed towards the one place I needed to be. If she wanted to play games then I was so done being her fucking toy.

Ivy's POV

"What's going on in here," I asked as I noticed Avery smirking at Emerald and liquor on the floor. I stepped towards Emerald and she immediately stepped back and looked at each face in the kitchen. I'm not gonna lie that hurt alot. I watched as she bitterly chuckled, "you all knew and no one said anything," she laughed again trying to hide the tears that were threatening to fall from her beautiful chocolate eyes, "Wow, I thought we were friends, but I guess the jokes on me," she said before facing me. I could tell by the hurt in her eyes that I had single handedly caused her another heartbreak. "Lose my number and do me a favor forget you ever knew me, Miss Ivy Wright," she said as she headed towards the door.

"Emerald wait," I yelled as I tried to catch her but it was to no avail, she was gone and probably for good this time. I angrily stormed back into the house, "what they hell did you say to her," I yelled as I slapped Avery across the face.

He chuckled before a smirk plastered across his face, "I simply told her the truth, that I am your boyfriend," he said. "No, your were my boyfriend, we broke up, I dumped you damn near 4 months ago, get that through your head, it's O.V.E.R over," I said as his nostrils flared up. He immediately yanked me up by the arms before speaking with so much venom, "No, you don't get to dump me, especially through a fucking text message, and you damn sure aren't living me for a fucking girl! Do you know how embarrassing it is to be at different colleges trying to get recruited and hear your girlfriend is flaunting around school with some fucking dyke," he yelled as he pushed me towards the door.

"Look Avery, I don't care how you feel or what's going on in that peanut size head of yours but we are over and if I ever her you speak about her like that again, No scratch that if I even see you look at her the wrong way, I will personally end you and your so called "career" Now leave my best friends house now, I have to go fixed this mess you caused," I angrily yelled as I glared at him. I watched as his fist clenched and his eye began to twitch, I knew what was about to happen because it had happened so many times before; but I honestly figured he wouldn't do it since we were surrounded by four pairs of eyes that were watching us and they wouldn't hesitate to hurt him. But boy was I wrong, my hand immediately flew up as soon as I felt the stinging sensation on my left cheek I knew he had done it again. He had did the one thing he promised to never do again.

"Now, listen here you better get your pretty ass in the car so we can go to this damn dance and show the entire school that were still the perfect couple, and if you dare threaten my career again, I won't hesitate to hurt you" he said as he pushed me towards the door. "Dude what the fuçk is your problem," a very angry Troy yelled as he punched Avery in the face causing him to stumble over as blood gushed from his nose. "Now, you got two seconds to apologize to Ivy, for putting you hands on her and Blake for disrespecting her house and I swear on my life, if I ever see you near her or anybody in this room including Emerald, I won't hesitate to kick your ass," Troy said as he yanked up Avery by the shirt.

Avery apologized and immediately scurried out the door and hopefully out my life for good. "Are you okay," Tory asked as he grabbed a bag of ice and placed it on my cheek. I nodded my head before moving out of Blake's arms and headed out the door. I had only one thing on my mind and that was to find Emerald. God, if she only knew tonight was the night everything between us was suppose to change but Avery ruined it. I was gonna ask her to be mines. I was ready and now she was nowhere to be found.

I immediately ran into my house, ignoring the looks I received from Barbz and my dad as I made my way into my dad's office. I immediately began to search for Emerald's folder. "Ivy what are you doing sweetheart," my dad asked as tears poured down my face. "Dad, I know you have it, just please track her phone for me...iiii need to see her and tell her the truth, it's all just a big misunderstanding," I managed to say. My dad gave me a sad smile, "sweetheart you know I can't do that, that's private information. I'm sorry honey," he said as he pulled me into a hug. I sniffed before saying the one thing I knew I could never take back and honestly I never wanted to take it back. "Dad, I think I might be falling in love with her," I said as he hugged me tighter. "If you are sweetie, than you have to fight for her, you have hurt her alot over the course of these 4 almost 5 months and I'm not sure what happened today but you need to show her she is the most important person in the world to you and I see the way you look at her. It's the way I looked at your mom and she looks at you the same way, so go get your girl," he said as he handed me back the car keys I dropped on the floor and guided me towards the door.

I didn't know where she was but I knew where she had to return, so I did the next best thing I made my way to her house and began to play the waiting game.

Another double update, I'm just the sweetest ain't I 💁💁 but now you know what happened. I was gonna be mean and let you think Ivy, was playing Emerald by not giving you her POV until next week but that would have been extremely mean and I'm not that mean. Plus, this chapter ending put me exactly where I want this story to be. Yes, next chapter you will learn about Avery and all his craziness and how that came to be...but at least he's gone maybe he's gone for good (*key word maybe)

P.s. the radio thing has actually happened to me before and yes I honestly wanted to rip it out and hurl it into a lake 😂😂😂 but Almost is Never Enough gets me every time. 😥 hope ya'll enjoyed this chapter, Comment& Vote

P.s.s. it only took Ivy 33 chapters but she realized she is falling hard for Emerald but the question is will she get her girl back or jasmine Emerald had enough of the back and forth game 🤔🤔 (oh, btw I already know the answer to this question 😏😏😚)
