When you opened your eyes, you were somewhere you didn't recognize. You sat up straight on the couch you were laying on, tossing the covers off of you in a panic. You looked around the room frantically, eyes wide.

The room you were in was quite obviously a living room. It was mostly white with splashes of pastel blue scattered in the form of throw pillows, lampshades, and a soft fur rug underneath your bare feet.

In any other circumstances, it would have given off an extremely comforting vibe. But you had no clue as to where you were and you were about to come unhinged.

"Joon?!" You called out, hoping he was somehow nearby. You were met with the sound of shuffling in the next room.

You stood up quickly, heading straight for the door. You weren't sure where you were but you weren't going to hang around to find out. As you placed your hand on the handle of the door, a soft yet worried voice spoke behind you.

"Y/n? Are you okay? Where are you going?"

You would recognize that angelic voice anywhere. You spun around on your heels to find Jimin standing in the doorway behind the couch that led to the hallway. He had a look of such concern in his eyes that made your heart rate return to normal.

"I...I...Where am I?" You mumbled, struggling to find your words.

"My house. Are you okay?" Jimin asked again. You still hadn't moved away from the door as if you were ready to bolt at any given second.

"Why am I here?" You asked, ignoring his question once again. You honestly didn't know if you were okay or not.

"You...don't remember?"

And then it hit you all at once. All of the memories of being in Taehyung's office. How he had tried to...

You felt lightheaded as you recalled every horrible detail, tears forming in your eyes. Your legs buckled beneath you as you dropped to your knees.

"Y/n!" Jimin rushed to help you. He pulled you to your feet before leading you back to the couch. Your tears had turned to heavy sobs that wouldn't seem to stop.

"It's okay, y/n. I'm right here. You're safe." Jimin cooed as he held you, doing his best to soothe you as he ran his fingers through your hair. You sobbed into his chest, clutching his shirt tightly. You couldn't help but feel comforted by his words and let yourself melt into his soft voice.

The two of you stayed that way for about 20 minutes until you finally felt yourself begin to calm down. You pulled away from him, wiping your tear-stained face with the sleeves of your shirt. That's when you realized you were no longer in your work clothes. You looked down to find you were wearing a plain gray sweatshirt that almost swallowed you whole in size, along with a pair of baggy black sweatpants.

"Did you...change my clothes?" You asked, hesitant to the fact that Jimin may have seen you undressed without you knowing.

"No, of course not! You woke up for a second once I got you here and I thought you'd be more comfortable in those. I left them in the bathroom for you. I will admit that I waited outside the bathroom door while you changed to make sure you were okay though." Jimin explained softly, looking down at his hands in his lap as he finished.

You watched him quietly. He seemed sincerely concerned for you with pure intentions. Your eyes suddenly widened in worry.

"Fuck, I haven't called Namjoon! He's probably got the entire city out for searching for me right now! Where's my phone?" You stood frantically scanning the room, looking for your phone.

"Y/n, calm down. He knows you're here." Jimin grabbed your arm lightly, pulling you back down to the couch, insisting that you take it easy.

You looked at him in utter confusion. "What?"

"He wouldn't stop calling your phone on the way here. You were still passed out, so I answered and told him you were with me. I told him to pick you up from here after I told him what happened. I had to get you out of there." His voice shook slightly at the last part.

"Why isn't he here yet? And what were you doing there in the first place? And-" You stopped as you suddenly realized you hadn't thanked Jimin properly. Not that you remembered anyway.

"Jimin..." You reached over and took his hands into yours. "You saved me. From something horrible and traumatic. I owe you everything." You felt tears forming again, threatening to fall at any moment.

Jimin looked at you, smiling softly. "Don't thank me, y/n. I'm just glad I was there." He looked into your eyes, searching for something. "Are you sure you're okay?"

"I think so. I will be anyway. It'll just take some time to move on and heal." You picked at your fingernails nervously, blinking away your tears. "So, why were you there?"

Jimin laughed softly.

"Just tell me."

"Well, if you want me to be completely honest, I was there to see you. I know you're dating someone else, and I would never do anything to try and hurt what you have. But I can't just take myself out of the running completely. Not when it comes to you. So in short, I came to flirt with you.."

You stared at Jimin in shock, heat rushing to your cheeks. You smiled softly.

"Well, I'm really glad you decided to show up tonight of all nights. Thank you again, Jimin. You really did save me."

"Please don't thank me, y/n. I just want you to be okay." He reached up to tuck a strand of hair behind your ear.

The two of you were interrupted by rapid knocking on the front door, causing you to jump slightly. Jimin patted your hands gently before getting up to answer the door. He had barely unlocked it before Namjoon pushed his way into the doorframe.

"Where is she?!" He looked around the room briefly before his eyes landed on you, sitting on the couch, looking so fragile and delicate.

You couldn't explain the sudden and automatic relief that washed over you as soon as you saw him. Everything about him from his head to his feet made you feel safe.

"Y/n." He breathed as he rushed over to you, dropping to his knees and bringing you tightly into his arms.

"I'm so glad you're okay. I'm so sorry. I'm so so so sorry. I wasn't there to save you. Please forgive me, baby."

"Joon, stop, it's okay. You didn't do anything wrong." Your words came out shaky as you choked back tears once again. You leaned into his embrace, letting the overwhelming comfort of his scent ground you. "I'm okay, really."

"Are you hurt?" Namjoon pulled back to look at you, running his hands over you as if to check if you were hurt anywhere. He cupped your face in both of his hands, staring into your eyes intently. He leaned in to kiss you softly, letting you feel just how worried he had been for you.

"I'm okay. Jimin saved me." You assured him, pulling back from his soft lips. He look exhausted. Dark circles swooped beneath his eyes as if he had been awake for days. He really was scared.

You felt him stiffen at the mention of Jimin's name. He turned to look at Jimin, who had been leaning against the door, watching the two of you quietly.

Namjoon stood and made his way over to Jimin, extending his hand in front of him.

"I can't thank you enough. You did what I couldn't. Thank you for taking care of her." Namjoon offered a weak smile at the blonde, dimples showing sweetly.

Jimin took Namjoon's hand, giving a firm handshake. "Anytime."

There was a sort of underlying meaning to Jimin's response that only you seemed to have picked up on. Jimin glanced over at you and winked, making you blush.

Namjoon didn't like that.
