"Yn...." He whispered, his voice so weak.

"Tae are you--"

"I..I..--"

"Taehyung what are you doing here?"

Taehyung finally detangled taking a few steps back. He squinted his eyes to have a clear look of people standing behind.

Namjoon with Lily on his side?

"Why are you here?" He asked, almost sounding pissed.

"Maybe because this is my house?" Namjoon chuckled.

"Tae? You look horrible ? What happened" You checked his forehead suspecting he might be sick but thankfully he hadn't..

"Taehyung, what happened?" It was Namjoon who worriedly stepped forward once he noticed the condition of his friend. "Looks like you haven't slept in days"

Namjoon led him to the couch while you bought a glass of water .

"Wait a minute" Lily who had been quiet for all this while finally spoke. "jay told me that you had an overnight surgery when you were attending Yun and the previous day also you had some appointments then yesterday the whole day you were busy with Yun...D..did you not sleep last night too?"

Namjoon and You looked at him in shock. Yes he was a doctor and he had a lot of work. It didn't mean he should neglect his own health , did it? Afterall he should keep himself healthy for the sake of the people who depend on him.

"Tae..Is she right ? You didn't have any rest last night too?' You asked, now taking a seat beside him. He gently nodded.

His own head felt so heavy to him that it felt unbearable to bear its weight so he comfortably placed his head on your shoulder closing his eyes feeling comfortable.

"But you didn't have any schedule last night?'Lily exclaimed.

"I was examining a few of my cases" He mumbled.

He didn't want to tell the truth that he was researching about Yun's case, knowing you very well he knew it will make you feel guilty when it wasn't your fault so he decided to tell the half truth.

"What? That's not done Tae! YOu can't do this to yourself. look at yourself you look like an almost dead man. You have to take care of yourself too! If not then watch me take care of you like I take care of Yun" You warned earning a weak laugh from him.

He felt so comfortable finally getting to close his eyes in your embrace that he just snuggled closer to your wrapping his arms around your waist.

He was exhausted and sleepy, he had no attention to his actions and you didn't care , why would you? You could see how drained he was and cuddling him if he feels comfortable was definitely not an issue to you.

But of course not everyone thought the same. Namjoon stood glaring at his friend, yes he too cared a lot for his friend and was definitely worried about his restless working schedule but the moment Tae wrapped his arms around your waist placing his head on your chest the woriness was replaced by irritation?

Why is he so close to her?

Why is he holding her waist?

Why doesn't she push him away?

How can he touch her like that!

He was just IRRITATED, Yes that's it. He was just annoyed because Taehyung was cuddling with his friend. He couldn't do that could he? And Yn shouldn't allow this, it's her fault too!

Jealous? Oh please! Why would he be jealous?

She is just his friend, and she has the right to do anything she wants...... expect cuddling someone?

He cleared his throat gaining your attention, tae was half sleep to even pay attention.

"I should take him to bed, this must not be comfortable." He suggested.

Yes yes he was just a caring friend looking after his dear friend! No he ofc didn't want to just pull Taehyung away from Yn ...

"He looks quite comfortable though,looks how cute he looks" You pointed at his soft pink lips that were rounded into a small pout.

Cute? Is he a puppy?" Namjoon scoffed internally.

Lily was smart enough to sense what was going in the male's brain standing beside her but unfortunately her friend was way too noob in things like these.

"You know what? I was just leaving so I will drop Taehyung at his place it's not safe for him to drive anyway"

"Li you don't have to worry it's fine he can crash here for today. We can shift him to any rooms upstair" you assured which didn't quite please Namjoon.

"No no girl it's fine, anyway he has work tomorrow plus he has morning appointments too I am sure it will be easier to go to work from his place" It didn't sound that convincing but seeing how persistent Lily was being you agreed.

Namjoon carried Taehyung, he wasn't asleep but he wasn't awake either so Namjoon just helped him till Lily's car. Lily also quickly bid bye to Yun who was upstairs not so surprisingly already wrapped ajumma around himself.

"Bbye bbye li bye tae take care please, I will call you in the evening"

Is she his mother?

By the time Lily drove to Taehyung's place he had already taken a good nap.

"We have reached" She slightly shook him and he woke up yawning.

"Thank you for the lift" He said walking into his apartment.

"It's fine, hungry?" Lily asked , taking the glass of water Taehyung passed.

"Yup will cook noodles later ,maybe" He just shrugged comfortably, slouching on the couch. He was too tired to cook.

"Nevermind, even I am hungry let me order something"

You were serving breakfast but the chairs were empty. After the house was empty the boys were back to the masterpiece of a puzzle they had completed half way through.

"Namjoon! Yun, come fast! food will get cold" You yelled , cutting the apple after covering the served dishes.

"Momiee 2 more minutes pleaseeeeee" You heard him whine.

"No Yun, it's past breakfast time, you can play after eating . I want you here in 3!"

"2"

"Th-" "I am here mommy!!!" He giggled hugging your legs, an old habit of his. Everytime you would be in kitchen making meals he randomly hugs your legs following you around.

"My good boy, now sit" You pulled the chair for him and he easily climbed . Namjoon also came sitting beside Yun.

You placed the cut apples in front of Yun and his face immediately turned into a frown.

he scrunched up his face pushing his plate away.

"Mommie Not nice! Yun no apples." He whined making a cross sign with his arms.

"Yun no drama! You have to finish these! I don't want to hear any thing" You gave a glare pushing the plate back to him.

He sulked in his seat pouting. Even if he didn't like apples he was an obedient child, he gave you a small nod before taking his first bite cringing at the taste.

A chuckle left Namjoon's throat witnessing the entire scenario. He was amused; it was like a replay , you also whined and sulked the same way in the initial days when he forced you to eat apples. Like mother, like son. .

"Good boy" You praised him once his plate was completely empty. Namjoon was half way through his breakfast.

" Now that my baby has finished his fruits I might give you this" You waved his favourite candies .

"Yunn lovee candiess!!"

Yun has always been the child to wrap everyone around him, something about him makes everyone fall in love with him but today it was something else. The way Namjoon has been running around him since morning is insane. Soon after the breakfast they went back to their puzzle. After they were done with it they played a few more games , they even took a nap together. You were actually stunned seeing how quickly the two had bonded.

They had so many common interests . Yun was a crazy marvel fan, he was a sucker for it but you never knew Namjoon was no different.

Not sure how it started but after the conversation of marvel had begun there was no going back, they were on their 3rd movie infinity war. Your son was crazy about it. He must have watched every one of its movies at least 20 times now and yup you guessed it right! Jessi was the one who influenced him in this.

You legitly knew zero about them other than things your son would tell you every night. His favourite character was Thor, he was clearly astonished by his power he even made Jes buy an identical hammer .

You heard how Namjoon loved kids, and you could definitely say it was 100% true. He was so raw, so cheerful, so happy around him. You never saw him smiling so much , it was obvious that he would be an incredible dad.

Giving the duo snacks to munch on you went back into your room, all of you already had your dinner. Yun insisted on watching more movies with Namjoon than sleeping with him. You were almost offended by how much time your son was spending with him. But anyway you allowed him seeing how happy both of them were together

You tossed and turned in your bed but sleep was far away. The thought of the next morning was freaking you out. Tomorrow was the day his tests would be out, Taehyung would finally tell you about the future procedures, which made you anxious.

You heard the door creak open.

"Can I come in?" It was Namjoon, he entered after you gave him a nod.

"Yun fell asleep midway so I took him to my room" he informed taking seat on the bed beside you, you just nodded.

"Can't sleep?' he asked.

You nodded again. "Just a little scared about tomorrow"

"Don't be. I will be fine. Yun is such a brave boy, so are you. Trust tae. You have him, lily ........Me" He gave you an assuring look.

"Thankyou"

"Okk good night, sleep it's already late. Tae messaged to come early tomorrow"

He bid you goodnight and so did you.

Namjoon never had so peaceful sleep in his life

I am genuinely so sorry for being so irregular lately, but I have been just caught up in so many things. Can't promise anything but updates might be a little more regular from now.
