Embarrassment

Author's POV

In the evening, Sitaara's parents, uncles and aunts came back. She hugged them tightly. Mridula cried as she saw her daughter after 3 weeks or so.

As Abhi promised her, he sent chocolates for her and loaded them in refrigerator.

"These many chocolates? Seems like we are selling" said Amala, Situ's aunt. Sitaara giggled.

"It's only half of the number that he loads in fridge at my in-laws" she said.

"That's why you became fat like an elephant. Look at you, my poor bil might have used curtains and blankets to design your clothes" she heard a voice from behind. It's Vedhanth and she knew it's him.

She turned to the voice furiously and threw tomato sauce on his face and smirked.

"Hello sister" said Ved from behind the person who drenched in sauce.

"Oh god! Is that you Vikranth? Am sorry. Listening to voice I thought it's Ved anna who is behind me. Am sorry" she said wiping Vikranth's face with tissue. Vedanth burst out laughing.

"He came to cover your eyes from behind and play with you but instead he drenched in sauce by Sitaara" said Ved between his laughs. Vikrant and Sitaara looked at eachother and smirked. They both took tomato sauce bottles in their hands and emptied it on Ved's head and shirt.

"Come on, Anna!! Laugh now" said Sitaara and Vikranth laughing together.

"God!! Kyathi Vadhina(sil), your husband's head is bleeding. Wait! Situ akka you are here? That's means you hit Ved anna? Hahaha....Ved anna you are beaten by your sister? Hahaha...You look like a hulk still you are beaten by another hulk called Sitaara" laughed Riddhanth coming inside.

"Hulk? You idiot!! In which angle do I look like a hulk to you? I am slim" shouted Sitaara while Ved threw chocolate sauce on Riddhanth.

"Ahh...my chocolate sauce" whined Sitaara while her aunt's looked at her ridiculously for whining over a chocolate sauce whereas she loaded the refrigerator with all chocolate products.

"Ved anna!! How dare you waste my chocolate sauce?" Screamed Sitaara angrily.

"Hey!! Situ akka you came? That means I can't wear clothes from your collection anymore" said Akhira in dejected tone coming towards them. Sitaara raised her eyebrows to which Akhira smiled sheepishly.

"Riddu anna, why is your face covered with chocolate sauce?" She asked Riddhanth and scraped a little off his face and licked.
Eww...!!

''Why is it salty instead of sweet?'' She asked scrunching her nose.

"Because you tasted his sweat which emitted off his body like a pig emits" said Sid coming towards them.

"Eww..." Akhira scrunched her nose and and to wash basin to wash her mouth. Everyone laughed. Sitaara looked at Sid and walked to him. He immediately embraced her in a tight hug.

"I am gonna miss my peace" mumbled Sid. She gave him confused look lifting her face.

"Because you are here" he added chuckling.

"Anna" she whined. He kissed her crown.

"I missed you Situ" he said.

"I missed you too" she mumbled.

My brother can't kill Viraj! This is for sure! He loves me very much that he can even accept anything I like and Viraj is no exception. There must be misunderstanding! But am not gonna leave this just because of my assumptions! I will bring justice! Thought Sitaara.

"If you are done, let me hug my baby sister Sitaara" said Sisira from behind. Sitaara ran to her and they both screamed in happiness jumping still hugging.

"Sid anna please call forest department, we discovered new monkeys, they will take them away as it's unbearable to hear their screams" said Vedanth. Sitaara and Sisira glared at him making him run away and they laughed.

"That's giraffe" said Sitaara to Daksh teaching him animal names making him sit on her lap.

"Giyafee" repeated Daksh. Sitaara chuckled.

"It's not Giyafee, Daksh. It's gi-ra-fee'' she said. He nodded.

"Gi- ra-fee" he said. She grinned.

"Next, hippopotamus" she siad. He looked at her as if she asked him to make a girlfriend who is 10 older than him.

"Okay, leave it. It's, Horse" she said.

"Halls. That chocolate which mumma gives me sometimes?" Asked Daksh. Navya chuckled.

"Its not halls. It's Ho-rse" said Sitaara as Ved sat beside her in his fresh pair of clothes. He ran his hands in his wet hair looking at Kyathi who is drooling over him. He winked at her making her blush.

"Ho-rse" said Daksh. Sitaara ruffled his hair.

"She is an elephant" said Ved pointing at Sitaara.

"He is a donkey" said Sitaara pointing at Ved.

"They both are gorillas. Always shouts at eachother. Come here orelse they will make you gorilla too" said Sisira taking Daksh in her lap and giggled at them. They were about to snap at Sisira playfully, Sid interrupted them.

"So, guys what's the plan?" He asked sitting beside Navya and kissed her cheek. She slapped his thigh blushing while everyone hooted.

"Daksh is here, Sid. Behave!!" she whisper yelled.

"So let's make Daksh sleep with Situ today so that I can misbehave hmm?" He asked pulling her closer and pecked her lips. Her eyes went wide and she slapped on his lips and moved away.

"It's okay Vadhina(sil). I will make Daksh sleep with me today. Seems like anna is controlling his urge to become a bad boy since long time" said Sitaara and others laughed looking at Navya's face.

"That's why sisters are best. Angels" said Sid smiling. Girls agreed nodding their heads.

"You people are really crazy!! Speaking dirty" said Navya distributing ice cream bowls.

"We aren't speaking dirty, Vadhina(sil). We are speaking our hearts out" said Sisira chuckling.

"Daksh baby go to your grandparents. Your uncles and aunts are bad boys and bad girls. Go now. Your grandfather will help you in home work" said Navya. Daksh being a Mumma's boy went away with his bag and books.

"Seems like I should make my team stronger" said Sid. Navya raised her eyebrow at him.

"A baby girl! I want a baby girl who will be daddy's girl like your son is Mumma's boy" said Sid. Navya hide her face in her palms making others chuckle. Sid continued his teasing further.

"Ved, you have any? I need for tonight" said Sid. Ved smirked.

"You said you want a daughter then why do you need 'it'?'' Asked Ved smirking to tease Navya.

"Your wife is pregnant and she needs guidence, Navi would be best a she is little experienced. If I don't use it, this may create problem in handling two pregnant ladies and other two kids at a time" said Sid smirking.

"Yeah!! That's true anna. I have them, I'll deliver them to your room" said Ved. Navya's and Kyathi's eyes went wide at their husband's shameless talk.

"Shut up" yelled Navya and Kyathi together. Everyone laughed.

"Stop teasing them now, what's the plan?" Asked Riddhanth.

"As our mothers already started preparing varities of dishes for dinner, let's go to second show movie after having an ice cream at cream stone and dinner at home" said Akhira.

"Seems like she too got brain, what say Riddu?" teased Vikrant. Akhira pushed him off the couch.

"For now let's Play anything" said Akhira.

"Hey! She used her rusted brain again'' said Vikrant.

"Anna" whined Akhira.

"Both the sisters are alike. Whin! Whin! Whin!" Said Ved pointing at Sitaara and Akhira. They both threw cushion on his face.

After a little pillow fight, they played few games and ended up watching movie. Ved and Kyathi were sitting together cuddling. She lifted her face blushing when it was a kissing scene.

"Kiss me" she said huskily. He looked at everyone and saw them looking away from the screen but not at them.

"Now?" He asked as his voice turned Huskily on its according.

"Yes" she whispered. He traced his finger on her bottom lip and brought his lips closer to her.

"I love you" he whispered against her lips and placed his palm on her belly "...and baby too, our love symbol"

She smiled. "Love you too and our baby too" she whispered placing her plam in his cheek. He smiled and connected their lips as his hands went to her collarbone caressing her mangalsutra and her hands went to his nape playing with his hair.

"Ahem... Let's go for dinner" said Sitaara not looking at them. They both pulled back immediately wiping their lips.

"Movie didn't end" said Ved.

"But, it's dinner time. Mommy asked us to come down through intercom" said Sitaara. He nodded.

"Seems like you need them. Can you deliver them to my room for sure, Ved?'' Asked Sid teasingly.

"Don't worry, anna. Perks of having a beautiful wife made me to keep a stock" said Ved helping Kyathi to stand.

"If you both don't stop this dirty talk, I will stuff cow dung in yours mouth" said Navya and went away. They followed her chuckling.

Everyone sat their chairs in dinning room. Daksh was with Surabhi, she was feeding him whereas Navya, Mridula and Amala serving them. As Kyathi is pregnant Krishna, Situ's grandfather ordered her not to get involved even in little chores.

Suddenly Sitaara ran to her phone realising the time. She immediately ringed Sakshi.

"Hello dear Dil" said Sakshi.

''Athamma (mil), I asked Naman to get grandpa's medicines which are over yesterday. Did he bring? Doctor asked not to skip them at any cost" said Sitaara. Sakshi chuckled.

"My beloved Dil, atleast today let me take care of my in-laws. Yes, Naman brought them and I gave medicines to my fil as per the time table you pinned on wall" said Sakshi. Sitaara chuckled after letting out a relief sigh.

"I just freaked out, Athamma (mil). I told to both Naman and Dhruv to get them when I sensed tablets getting over but both the brothers forgot. Don't even talk about Mani, he will be taking his time as if he is travelling from one planet to other planet and by then pharmacies will shut off" she said giggling and took her seat. Sakshi laughed.

"Is he home?" She asked.

"Yeah!! He is. I didn't expect him to come home when you aren't here but he is such a cunning man you know, he is trying his ways. He is sulking face all this while like a kid, he litreally brought his face close to mine pouting, laid his head in my lap pouting, pushing away coffee, so that we bring you back sympathizing him' said Sakshi. Sitaara laughed throwing her head backwards.

"Indeed he is a kid and cunning man. Tell him am not gonna come back for next two days. Ask him to stop his childish trails. Idiot. Make sure he will have his dinner and don't let him work till late night. Remind him to check the drawers and I have locked his personal bar room" she said and chuckled.

"Why? What's in the drawer, if I can know?" Asked Sakshi.

"Surprise!!" She said giggling.

"First he won't be having his dinner and will be in his study and then, he will come back to dining room with angry face. Just serve him" said Sitaara.

"As you seem sure, I guess you planned something already" said Sakshi.

"Yes!! I did orelse that son of yours will ruin his health" said Sitaara.

"Thank you for your care towards my son, Sitaara. Bye. Enjoy" said Sakshi and cut the call. Sitaara placed her phone on dining table.

"I never knew you could take of your in-laws when you can't even handle yourself" said Navya.

"Anna" she complained.

''Navi is true. It's truly shocked me when your fil and mil told about you. Even I wondered how this clumsy girl is handling whole family" said Sid chuckling. She rolled her eyes eating her food.

"Situ, you aren't eating fish fry?" Asked Amala while Mridula looked at her questioning.

"Mani is allergic to sea food thus I used to accompany him in eating other items when we prepare sea food at home and I slowly stopped eating as I felt to stop. Sometimes Mani scolds me for changing my food habit because of him but... I just lost my interest in it as it's been 3 months I didn't even touched them" she said.

"Yeah!! Righteous wife following her husband" said Sisira chuckling. Other cousins too chuckled. Sitaara just smiled as she felt it as a mock more than a joke.

"At my in-laws I won't be eating at this time" she said.

"Why?" Asked Ananth, her uncle.

"I used to wait for Mani till late night and serve him which continued for few days. Later he obsessed with me serving him or he won't eat, so I would wait for him even when am hungry" she said.

"Daddy whenever he is late, he will get a chocolate as compensation just like you. Sometimes when I want to eat some other chocolate which he didn't bring, I'll make him come home late and later demand for my favourites. Being a good husband he gets them visiting personally even though he have many meetings and a busy man, without arguing. Infact, daddy, he like to do everything on his own for me. I feel like am a queen" said Sitaara turning to Dev and giggled.

"My poor son in law" said Dev chuckling.

"Then, Sitaara won't he eat anything now?" Asked Mridula.

"He will but not food prepared at home but snacks or tea. That's why I hid them before coming here. Atleast due to hunger he will have dinner. He is a big foodie and can't live without eating" said Sitaara chuckling. They smiled.

Suddenly Sitaara's phone went off. Before she could take it, Akhira snatched it as it was from Abhi. She lifted the call and turned on speaker. 'Talk' she mouthed while Sitaara glared at her.

"Hey sweetheart" he said making her puke water in Riddhanth's lap getting embarrassed because of the endearment he used which was heard by her family. Her whole family stopped eating. She smiled awkwardly.

"Where did you keep my snack? Even my alcohol bottles? Sweetheart, did you hide them?" He asked. She mentally facepalmed.

"Taara why aren't you talking? What happened sweetheart?" He asked. Sitaara tried to snatch away phone from Akhira but Akhira moved back.

"Mani I'll calm you after a while. Is that okay?" She asked.

"No! Tell me what happened? Shall I come there? You okay?" He asked. She shook her head at his over caring.

"Am at my parents home, obviously I would be fine and Yes! I hid your snacks, shifted all the alcohal bottles to Bar room and locked it. Both orginal and duplicate keys along with spare keys are with me. Now, go down and eat whatever your mom serves' she said sternly.

"Sweetheart..this..this is cheating. But you know, I can buy even now if you hid them" he said.

"Okay buy them. I'll stay here for two weeks. If you don't want that then don't drink, don't work till overnight and have your dinner now" she said.

"Okay okay! Fine! Don't you dare to extend your stay. If you do that, I'll drag you from there" said Abhi.

"Okay chill, Mr Grumpy Abhimanyu. I was just kidding'' she said chuckling.

''Am missing you, Taara" he said.

"Bye, Mani" she said. He frowned.

"Tell me you are missing me too" he said like a baby. She mentally rolled her eyes at his wrong timing and his weird behaviour.

"Am not missing you'' she said.

"Then be ready for sweet punishment, Sweetheart. You remember the punishment I gave you at your parents home? What if my lips move litt-"

"Stop it, your pervert, bye'' said Sitaara.

"Tell me you are missing me or am sure Taara, my lips are gonna-"

"Mani, phone is on speaker and phone is in Akhira's hands. Everyone are listening to you" she shouted cutting off him.

"You should have tell me in first place, taara" he chided.

"Did everyone hear us?" He asked. Sitaara hummed.

"Is everyone present?" He asked. She hummed again.

"Hello everyone" he said awkwardly.

"Hello Mani" all the cousins sang and chuckled.

"Hmm..bye Sitaara" said Abhi embarrassed.

"Bye sweetheart. We miss you" cousins sang again and burst out laughing. Akhira hung the call. Sitaara glared at her to which she gave a sheepish grin. They continued their dinner. Her phone rang again. Expecting that its Abhi, Akhira lifted the call to tease the couple but to her disappointment it's Dhruv. Sitaara smirked as her cousins whose face fell.

"Hello Vadhina(sil)" said Dhruv sweetly.

"Hello Dhruv" Sitaara imitated his tone.

"Vadhina(sil), my girlfriend broke up with me" said Dhruv. She chuckled.

"Again? It's your 5th break up in past two months, Dhruv" said Sitaara laughing while everyone were listening to their talks. Mridula and Dev smiled at her daughter who seem close to her in-laws family.

"Vadhina (sil), you are wrong it's his 6th break up" said Naman.

"You both are wrong it's 8th girlfriend he broke up with" said Aarya and Disha together.

"Everyone are wrong. It's my 9th break up" said Dhruv.

"You are such a shameless idiot, Dhruv" said Aarya. Sitaara could imagine Dhruv rolling his eyes.

"I don't even touch their little finger. It's just I flirt with them and they call themselves as Dhruv's girlfriend and I'll play along" said Dhruv.

"Anyways, this girlfriend of yours was clingy. I didn't like her. So, don't bother" said Sitaara. She heard Dhruv's hum.

"Actually, Vadhina(sil)...I have in a girl in my mind and I think am serious about her. You know her" he said. She heard a gasps.

"You are serious about a girl? That means you found the girl you wanted, who won't blush at your cheesy lines, fierce huh?" Asked Sitaara.

"Hmm" Dhruv hummed biting his lip.

"God!! He is blushing" said Aarya and heard laugh. Sitaara too chuckled.

"Anyways, tell me who is it, Dhruv?" Asked Sitaara.

"I will tell about her when you come back. I want to see your expressions" said Dhruv.

"Then you should have revealed it when Vadhina come back. Now, you made us restless" said Disha.

"Idiot asshole" said Aarya and Naman.

"Leave him. Vadhina (sil), you know, Anna came for dinner tonight. Even when you weren't there to serve him, he ate everything silently when mom served him" said Naman. Sitaara sighed in relief.

"That's because of Situ, Nammu anna" said Aarya.

"Is it true, Vadhina (sil)?" asked Naman, Disha and Dhruv in unison. Sitaara hummed and told how she tricked him. They burst out laughing.

"Vadhina (sil), only you can tame his obstinacy" said Naman and Dhruv.

"Yes!! Your husband thinks himself as monarch and never cares about others opinions and don't even give fuck to our words. Now, you came and it's really a good change" said Disha.

"Language, Disha" warned Naman. She chirped a 'sorry'. Later they talked for sometime and hung the call. Sitaara washed her hands and turned back. She saw Mridula, she cupped Sitaara's cheeks and kissed her forehead.

"Am happy for you, Situ. You have a kind mil, Loving husband and friends like brother in law's and sister-in-law's" said Mridula.

"Not only them, mummy. My fils are also very supportive and take my side all the time going against Mani. Anjali athamma (mil) is so friendly and never make me feel embarrassed to share anything. Mani's grandparents are so cool that they play with us, talks to us like how we talk with friends, loves me alot than any of their own grandchildren" she said smiling. Mridula smiled back and
