I want a girl like you

Author's POV

Abhi who was the other side of the door wiped his tears as only he knew what Anika have gone through. Untill today he didn't knew that his best friend and his brother were lovers. He realised that his mistakes in past ruined many lives and one among them is his own brother's life.

He opened the door with a thud making Sitaara and Naman shocked.

"You loved Anika?" He asked Naman.

"We both loved eachother" said Naman standing on his feet and wiped his tears.

Suddenly Abhi embraced him in a tight hug making Naman break down in tears that he was holding back since 6-7 years.

"Am sorry ra(dude), Naman. Everything was because of me. Anika was forced to marry. She had a physical abusive relationship earlier. Rohan used to force himself on her, trash her badly. She never wanted to marry. She tried to stop the wedding with all the strength left in her but it was because of me, she was forced by her uncle and aunt. Even her grandparents who were used to be on her side forced her" said Abhi and pulled back.

"What do you mean? Did Rohan force himself on her? Physical abusement? Why are you reason behind her forceful marriage?" Asked Naman gritting his teeth.

"That forcing himself on her, physical abusement lasted for a month of her marriage, then they both used to have verbal fights daily and now, after years they are finally in love. And yes, I was reason behind her marriage and save the story for some other time. I will tell you but not now. The only thing you need to know that she didn't cheat on you and loved you so much" said Abhi.

"Still she married someone and is in love with her husband whereas am not able to move on from her, crying every day and night" he said and chuckled humourlessly. Wiping his tears he sat on bed. Sitaara smiled and sat beside him wrapping her arm around his shoulder.

"Who asked you to move on from her? You can still love her as your friend though it's very much wierd but nothing is impossible right? Make memories with her which make you forget the pain you endured since past 6-7 years. Having feelings for a married woman isn't correct, Naman. Anika always wanted to see you happy even when she isn't" she said and smiled.

"Belive me Naman, if a girl is made to give herself to a person whom she don't love, is equal to death according to me. Then understand how much she was broken when she was forced! Still she never told you because she didn't want you to see sad. Now, if you are like this she would definitely feel bad. Move on from lover phase. If she isn't meant for you there is someone who are waiting for you and is best for you than Anika" she said.

"BTW, there are many girls out there for handsome guys, we are not talking about your brother(Abhi), I said handsome guys like you. You will find a girl for you who showers you with so much of love. Trust me, you are gonna find a girl within this one year. One day you will come to me say 'Vadhina(sil) you are right! I found my girl who loves me so much' she said. He smiled.

"I don't want a beautiful, rich, educated girl Vadhina (sil) but a girl like you who takes care of everyone, who is always respectful to her people, who always makes people around her happy" said Naman and looked at Abhi.

"Anna is very lucky to get you. Will I ever find a girl like you?" Asked Naman.

"God isn't cruel all the time, let me rephrase it, he isn't cruel at all. He snatches away something because he want to give you something best. He snatched away Anika from you to give you 10 Anika's in the form of one girl" said Sitaara and smiled. He nodded chuckling at her way of comparison.

"Dhruv is right Vadhina(sil), you have a beautiful smile" he said.

"Stop flirting with my wife, Naman. She isn't that '10 Anika's in one girl'. She is Sitaara and my girl" said Abhi. Sitaara frowned at him when he called her as his.
Am not yours! Am only Viraj's!! Will be Viraj's forever.

"I know, she is Sitaara and even 100 Anika's couldn't replace her and I love Sitaara as my SIL, as a mother after my mother only" said Naman. Abhi and Sitaara smiled. Her gaze fell on the box that Naman brought earlier.

"Naman, you are banned from playing football in international matches or domestic matches but you aren't banned from playing with your people and teaching them right?" she raised her eyebrow turning to him.

"I am always fond of football but I never understood anything except the point that it will be a goal if you kick the ball into goal post. Will you teach me?" She asked with a cute face.

"It's been 6-7 years I played or watched football match" he said.

"Still you are a champion, don't forget that! And passion you had for football will never leave you because as you told it's your life" said Sitaara.

"I'll teach you, Vadhina(sil)" he said.

"Actually I want you to teach football for few kids at an orphanage. Will you?" She asked.

"I don't want others to become like me with crushed dreams. I will teach them, atleast like that I will be satisfied that one of my student has reached great heights under my training" he said.

"That's the spirit!! I will take you to the orphanage next month. Currently kids there, are busy with final exams. And also teach my brothers Riddhanth and Vikranth. Am tired of seeing them playing table foot ball instead of playing on ground" said Sitaara. Naman nodded.

"Don't you have any special talents like this other than pulling that poker face, scaring people around with your eyes?"Asked Sitaara to Abhi teasingly and picked up the things from the box.

"That's wrong question, Vadhina (sil). You should ask him ' In which game you lack the talent?' "said Naman chuckling. Abhi smirked.

"Anna is basketball champion, a state level chess champion, black belt in martial arts and he is best level Cricket player too. He plays charity matches to help many orphans across country" said Naman.

Impressive Mani! You are really a good person thought Sitaara

"Still he lost against us" she said giggling.
Only if she knew he lost for her, only to see her beautiful smile.

She moved to walls and hung his medals on wall, placed his shields and trophies on wall shelves. She took out one of Naman's and Anika's picture and inserted in one of the frame hanging it in wall and turned to Naman.

"Your achievements will bring your courage and remind of how much capable you are, it doesn't matter if it is football or business. Success is success!! Talent is talent!! Anika's and your picture should remind you that she was beautiful past and beautiful phase of your life, whenever you feel low, her sacrifice, her pain to see you happy should remind you that she has a special place for you in your heart though not in her life" she said. Naman smiled and hugged her tightly. She hugged him patting his back.

"You are getting late for office" said Abhi. Before Naman could pull back, Abhi pulled Sitaara to him and hugged her for once tightly, then moved away making her confused.

"Oh! Didn't you understand why he did that? He replaced my touch with his by hugging you. You aren't aware of his possessiveness right? Wait for few more days, his possessiveness reaches to an extent where you feel lucky and unlucky at the same time" said Naman walking to table and pocketed the pendrive. Sitaara gave Abhi a sharp look to which he shrugged his shoulders smiling at her.

"Bye, meet you in the evening, Situ sil" said Naman walked out. Abhi turned to Sitaara.

"Thank you. Because of you he poured his heart now. I didn't know he was going through all these and the way you consoled him was really incredible" said Abhi. She was about to lift her imaginary collar, he spoke.

"From bottom list" he added smirking.

She glared at him and threw the empty box at him and left the room stomping her foot. He chuckled.

Rest of the day went very well. Anika was great company to Sitaara and they were talking continuosly without a break. Anika shared many college memories of hers with Abhi and friends. From her talks Sitaara concluded that Abhi was indeed a good hearted and was a very chilled person then. Always used to fights with either his seniors or juniors and sometimes with outsiders. Used to go on a trips frequently and visited all most all the places in India and few places outside the India.

At night, Rohan was outside on a call. Aarya approached him. After hanging up the call he turned back and got startled seeing Aarya. She giggled.

"You scared me Miss Aarya Chouwdary" he said.

"Am sorry bhaiyya. You can call me Aarya" she said. He nodded.

"Am here to talk about Sitaara" she said looking around.

"I know she is Doctor Viraj's girlfriend, he is a good friend of mine. I saw her picture on his wallpaper many times and we used to talk about her (situ) most of the time but I never met her. When he planned to make her meet me the tragic incident happened. They were cute couple" he said. Aarya nodded agreeing to him.

"My brother and Sitaara got married unexpectedly when her sister ran away on engagement. She isn't over Viru bhaiyya yet. Though it was nearly 2 and half years ago still she is drowning in his memories. She needs time to open up with my brother and trust him to tell about her past. So please don't tell anyone that she had boyfriend before she reveals herself" said Aarya.

"I understood that, Aarya. That's why I cut out the topic when you interrupted me. I won't tell anyone and don't worry, Anika though knew Dr.Viraj Sehgal and his love intrest, she don't know that it's Sitaara and even I won't tell Anika" he said.

"Thank you. Thank you so much, Bhaiyya'' she said. Rohan smiled and looked at sky.

"Did you find the person?" Asked Rohan.

"We tried but no avail. Seems like everything was planned before. But justice will declared at anytime though it takes years. There will be someone who will bring justice to Viru bhaiyya" said Aarya.

Just then Abhi stepped out of the car and smiled at them.

"Timing!! We are talking about bringing justice and about the person who could bring justice, Abhi arrived. I wish he could bring justice to my friend Viraj understanding his wife pain" said Rohan.

"And he will. Your brother is best known for taking revenges without drowning his hands in sinful acts. He plays fairly, dangerously and trickily" added Rohan.

"I hope he brings justice at least to remove Situ's pain" whispered Aarya.

Two days later,

"Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god!" Shouted Sitaara at top of her lungs jumping in air.

Dhruv who was about to take his seat on couch fell down on floor startling at her sudden shriek, Naman spill over hot coffee over his pants. Abhi's grandparents placed thier hands in their hearts dramatically giving ' your wife will give us a heart attack' look to which he just smiled. He is habituated to her shouts as she can't speak like a normal human.

"Am so happy. Okay. Now? Please. Fine. Hey Vedie boy getting a boy huh? Yes, it's a boy who would irritate you to an extent where you pull out your hair out of your scalp. Let's see. Get my chocolate truffles cake ready. You have to. Bye" she hung the call with a huge grin and listening to her everyone understood what she is gonna shout next.

"Taara, sweetheart, now don't scream, speak to us like a normal human" said Abhi as she was about to open her mouth.

"Am so happy. Ved anna is gonna be father. His wife is 2 months pregnant now. I just can't believe am becoming aunt again" she screamed in happiness despite of Abhi's warning. He shook his head chuckling along with others.

Her phone rang, it's Adhira. She grinned and ran to porch lifting the call. Both the sisters screamed in happiness and talked about many things. By the end of the call all the cousins joined the call. They all teased Ved and Kyathi and also congratulated to-be-parents. They all planned to have a get together tomorrow for celebrations.

Later she had her dinner, Abhi left to study while Sitaara went Abhi's grandparents to give them tablets and gave legs massage which became her habit since past one month. After spending sometime with them she walked to Abhi's study. Opening the door slightly, she peeked her head inside and saw him on video conference with foreign clients for whom it's a morning now. Without making sounds she went inside and sat against him listening to his way of dealing.

For a second she thought it's not the Abhimanyu she knew because he was so different. His way of conversing with the clients confidently. His ancent is also like British without any grammatical mistakes. His way of tricking and attracting the client, the way he concludes his points in 2-3 sentences with a perfect way to make others understand, left her speechless at his smartness.

Abhi shut the laptop after the meeting and turned to Sitaara and raised her eyebrow.

"Aren't business men allowed to wear a casual dress and attend the meeting? It's past 11:30 pm but look at you, you are wearing that suit. I swear, am gonna burn all your suits one day. If I ever wanted to imagine you, I could only see that black suit and that ugly face of your and obviously that stupid smirk" she said angrily.

"So, you imagine about me at times? He asked smirking.

"You heard only that? You are such an idiot" she said said gritting her teeth. He chuckled.

"Why did you come inside at this hour?" He asked removing his coat.

"We all cousins planned a get together tomorrow and they invited you too. If you don't come they won't allow me. So, will you come?" She asked.

"Taara, I took you to your mansion just yesterday and you want to go again?" Asked Abhi in disbelief.

"But this for celebration, Mani. We didn't expect this. Everyone are attending, even Rishi bava(bil) is also coming" she whined.

"I understand! Fine! Stop whining now. I'll drop you and pick you up again but I can't stay there for partying" he said looking into his phone.

"You can't stay there? Why? Do you feel my family isn't respecting you well? Do you think my cousins as boring and no fun? Do you feel our mansion is worst place? Do you feel uncomfortable because of Siru akka?" She asked sitting at the edge of the table. He looked up and gave her a boring look.

"Actually, your family shower me so much love like they show in movies and I find your mansion very noisy yet homely. I feel your cousins best as they never fail to keep entertained all the time. And...I don't care about Ms Shetty(Sisira). Did you ever see me sparing a glance at her? It's not because she ran away. And woman, I just want to thank her for running away as I got you and why would I feel uncomfortable? It's not that we both loved eachother and she ran away or its not that she ran away with her boyfriend but she ran away to save someone's life" he said and took a deep breath.

"Earlier I used to talk 3-4 sentences in one word but after marrying you, you made me speak one word in 3-4 sentences" he said and chuckled. She giggled.

"Anyways to your question again, tomorrow I've a dinner with a client with whom I had a video conference earlier. They are coming by tomorrow afternoon to sign the deal and dinner at night, they asked me to bring you but it's okay, I'll manage. You join your cousins" he said.

"We can join my cousins later, Mani. They will understand but the dinner with clients is important. It would be disrespectful to deny their invitation and I don't want you to disappoint them because of me" said Sitaara.

"Are you sure?" He asked. She nodded.

"Fine! Get ready by 8 tomorrow, we will complete our dinner by 9 or 9:30, then we will join your cousins" he said.

"No! Drop me at my parents mansion in the morning and pick me up in the evening for dinner" she said. He sighed and nodded his head.

"Where is Arjun and Vikram? After reception there is no trace of them" asked Abhi.

"They both are doing a joint project of constructing a mall in some country whose name I don't remember. Actually it was planned during our wedding. As they can't avoid my wedding, they postponed and now, due to delay in work they are needed to take long time. Still we daily have a face time. You wouldn't be at home when I'll be speaking to them during day, so you aren't aware of them" she said.

"You could have answer like 'they are business trip' but no! Madam likes to elaborate everything. You must have scored highest marks in history subject" he said.

"Woah! How do you know?" She asked.

"The way you speak about a single thing can say that" he said making her pout.

"Fine! Am sleeping. Bad night" she said. He nodded and resumed his work. Sitaara went to her closet and took out her recorder.

"Raj? You are hearing me? My brother, Vedanth gonna become father. He is very happy and his voice was so heavy as if he want to cry out of happiness. I forgot to tell you, Viraj. I met your favourite patient's son whom you made your friend easily, he came home and almost revealed about you but Aarya stopped him. Coming to Abhimanyu, he is calling me as 'his' again and again ignoring my glares at him. Am only yours, Viraj's Sitaara, Raj's Taara" she whispered looking into sky.

She moved back to closet keeping the recorder in locker and dozed off after taking her medicines.

Even I hope Abhi bring justice to a man who his wife loves, if something dreadful really happened in past!
