The evacuation shelter was full of citizens who were scared out of their minds, they had every right to be. The Sea Folk were incredibly strong and had already defeated so many heroes so they were bound to smell the huge mass of humans crowded in one place. The place smelled of desperation, fear, false hope and empty promises.

No one knew how this situation would end, how it would turn out yet people still reassured their lovers, children and family. Even complete strangers minimised the distance between them to find solace, while you stood alone in the back with your mind only on one thing; the safety of Genos and Saitama.

The rain pelted the roof of the building hard and it somewhat calmed your nerves because you couldn't hear anything outside besides the water, "It's okay... Saitama is fine... It will be okay.."

People stared at you in pity and fear and you mindlessly stared ahead, arms crossed over your chest protectively to somehow comfort yourself as much as you could. You were sort of glad to have followed what Mumen Rider said about coming here because it was so much better than being alone but a part of you may have secretly wished that Saitama had followed you or even spoken to you. You wouldn't accept it if that was the end of your friendship.

There was a loud boom, like an explosion and you flinched along with everyone else in the place. Debris and large bits of the roof crumbled down making people run to avoid getting squashed like a bug. Tears bubbled up in your eyes at the sight of the huge fish Sea Folk, he was so big and muscular and his nails looked like huge, sharp knives. His teeth resembled two full rows of sharp daggers that could cut through flesh like it was water.

"I found you!"

Before further panic bubbled in the monsters new victims, a blonde man stiffly walked in front of the crowd, his arms and legs trembling though his chest was puffed out to appear brave, he was admirable in your eyes, "We surrender, we comply with any demands you have so please don't attack."

You admired the way he didn't stutter while the monster stared at him like he was a piece of fresh meat and you could hear others taking in a large gulp of air, unblinking as they stared for a response or reaction, "AHAHA~ I've come to kill you. Your deaths are inevitable!

And as for my demands? How about you all scream as I kill you!?"

You gasped in shock and terror when hearing the beast that would be your end, thinking of the most important people to you and you missed the sight of heroes coming to stand by the man who had spoken to the monster who also claimed to be a hero, C- class.

The other three men came to the blonde man after he had promptly pissed himself out of anxiety and despair. They introduced themselves as a C- class hero, 1 B- Class and an A- Class hero who you had already met before at the hero association; Snek.
They watched the monster with impassive faces seeming brave and courageous when you knew they were scared, bystanders were most likely feeling more safer and positive but you knew nothing good would come from this, "Saitama.. Please help me.."

Within minutes more people were crying in desperation and despair, some were praying and others were just hugging their loved ones as tears littered their faces. The heroes had been defeated only within seconds as they laid unconscious in the middle of a small crater because of how hard they had been hit. Blood was splattered on their clothes and faces and the way their faces screamed pain and horror, they could've been mistaken as being dead.

"Are you one of the sea folk?"

Your head twitched upwards at the sound of your saviour and your mouth mindlessly fell open when watching the cyborg standing in the hole of the roof. You cupped your mouth impulsively and sucked in a breath to yell out for him but the second his eyes found yours, his golden orbs widened for a split second before returning to normal. Your brows furrowed in sadness but you still had hope.

"What if I am?"

Genos jumped from the roof to land behind the King of the Sea and in front of the crowd of innocent people. You slowly moved forwards to watch Genos as electricity emitted from his body as he was already powering up his lasers and machinery, ".. You must be another soldier."

"I'm here to eliminate you," Genos answered back immediately, as he stood before zooming straight to the monsters cheek to deliver a massive blow before the humanoid could even register it. The force of the blow blew the monster backwards and blue blood splattered the ground as the wall behind him was blown away.

You smiled timidly when Genos looked at the damage done and turned to look at the citizen's, finding you in front of the crowd already, "Was that all of them?"
People's mouths hung open in shock at the turn of event's and smiles slowly broke out on their faces when they were about to commence cheering before the Deep Sea King was back behind Genos in one second, grabbing the cyborgs arm and then punching the side of his face which flung him into the wall with his arm left in the grasp of the monster who cackled manically.

The wall and ground was shattered into small pieces around Genos who had realised he had accidentally let down his guard but he still got back up. The Deep Sea King had fortunately forgotten about his first priority; being the crowd watching and stared at Genos hungrily, "Now I'm mad and I'll tear you to shreds."

He had a hole in his cheek and you could see his teeth through it which disgusted you, you wanted to call out to Genos but you were too afraid and honestly you were too cowardly too. The cyborg disciple's face was half torn off and you could clearly see the metal behind the artificial skin, "Run. Leave the shelter now, I can't promise I'll win."

"NONE OF YOU MONKEY'S WILL ESCAPE ME!" People ran desparately and scrambled to get away the second they heard the person closest to defeating the Sea King becoming unsure of himself. You remained in your position, mouth agape with sad eyes as Genos flew to the King when the humanoid ran from Genos to catch the species he pitied that crowded in the evacuation shelter.

The Deep Sea King was punched and then kicked using all that Genos had with the strength mustered up in him. An explosion resulted in a huge gust of power and electricity to flow out of the shelter and the heat hit you like a truck. By now, people had stopped to watch the commotion and stare in awe when Genos acquired his gun-like weapons as he yelled, "Machine gun Blow!"

The weapon shot at the Deep Sea King mid-air below they met the ground again, "YO-"
You were cut off by the little girl next to you as she took the words right out of your mouth while she was hurriedly being dragged away by her father, clutching a plush bear in her tight grip, "Y-you can do it!"

Her high-pitched voice held a strength that you yearned, she sounded so confident in Genos and for that you were extremely grateful.
"Quiet!" In between the standoff between Genos and the King of the Sea, the humanoid yelled in irritation and turned his head away from a half-beaten Genos to the girl as he spat a green liquid that had some steam being emitted from it which already gave you a bad signal.

As the, what you guessed was acid, flew nearer towards the girl who watched frozen and fear-stricken, you were also stuck in fear. Genos gasped and moved to protect the girl when someone else stopped him.

You looked down at the girl with a short and sad smile, it was fake and anyone could tell but you wouldn't let her see that. Your arms were outstretched protectively, falling to your knees as acid melted your skin, bones and insides.
