What the hell was happening. Your throat hurt from all that crying but you couldn't stop, your head was experiencing the worst migraine - you felt as if you could've smashed your head against the door and it wouldn't matter.

Nothing mattered anymore though, you were alone in your apartment and it was so dark. You supposed it was ironic when watching the clouds outside, how dark and scary they looked which was coincidentally how you felt. You still remembered everything so vividly as if the events had only occurred a couple of minutes ago and it hurt so much to think about.

Saitama..

"Sensei... I think it would be best if we leave."

"Oh."

It was so quiet besides the occasional sniffles coming from you. You were lounged on the floor right beside the window as the dark clouds moved onwards, it was going to start pouring soon. Hopefully Saitama wouldn't catch a cold.. Wait what? Why should you care anyway. It isn't like he would love you back.

WHAT. No, I mean yes, you love him- as a best friend and that was all. It wasn't like all those times of cuddling, holding hands and comfort meant anything beyond what they actually were... Right?
This was all too much, you couldn't stand being alone anymore. Your hands slowly made their way up to your face to rub the moist skin again, it wasn't like there was any point though because the tears wouldn't stop. It was like you weren't even crying anymore but your eyes couldn't stop emitting tears. What a bother.

You got up slowly to your hands and knees, reaching towards the couch where your phone was, who was there to call though. You already knew that you would've been calling your best friend but the thought made you cringe in shame and disappointment towards yourself.

The device was in your grasp, pressing the home button and a sigh left your mouth unintentionally when the screen momentarily blinded you in the darkness. You squinted your eyes shut, opening them again to stare at your lock screen picture. It had been updated recently as it was a picture when you had been eating dinner with Genos and Saitama.

You were sitting on the side, so you weren't on the picture but Saitama and Genos were across from eachother, a string of udon noodles hanging from Saitama's mouth as he was caught off-guard. Genos eating with his chopsticks like the polite and formal cyborg we was, not even paying attention to the camera next to him.

You opened the phone to scroll down your contacts list, not having to scroll far with the limited amount of friends you had. At this moment you kind of wished you had Sonic's number due to the loneliness you were experiencing. You should probably get through this alone but it was too hard.
Your phone dialled the number below your finger, lifting it to your ear as you took a shaky yet deep breath.

"(Y/N)-sama? Is everything okay?"

You chuckled half-heartedly, twiddling with some stray cotton string on the bottom of your jumper, "Not really but you already knew that right? I.. I have a favour to ask if it isn't too much trouble."

The teen replied unfazed, "Go ahead."

"First is Sai.. Is Saitama with you?"

"No, we got separated so that I could find some of the Seafolk."

"Could you possibly come back and pick me up? I.. I don't want to be alone, I promise I won't get in your way- you can drop me off there!"

He sighed, making you freeze at the thought of becoming a hindrance to the people around you, the people you held dear to you, "I don't know if that's okay- It would make Saitama- sensei more worried. Maybe you should stay there."

"Please.. I'll do anything, just- just get me out of here, I'm begging you."

"... I'll be there in five minutes."

After hearing the call being cut, your phone slipped from your hands and to the floor where it stayed. You crawled towards the front door to put your shoes on, sitting at the step as you waited until a subtle knock was heard on the other side of the door only within a couple of minutes.

"Are you okay?"

"I'm fine."

"Your irregular heart beat says that you're lying."

"I don't need this right now Genos, I'll be fine in time- just drop me off somewhere."

He sighed, knowing he shouldn't speak unless he wanted to deal with your wrath. The fact that you weren't yelling or complaining towards him already gave him a bad feeling. He wanted you to yell and scream about how mad you were at his master but you seemed forlorn and on the verge of giving up. It made him deeply troubled.

Nevertheless, once entering the city it had already started raining, not that you cared for cover anyway. Genos hesitated when you got off of his back, as if leaving you there would worry him more than he would care to admit. You tried to smile at him reassuringly but he only stared impassively and left after muttering, "Be careful."

You stared at his back but turned when you felt the rain falling harder. The streets were dark and there was no one around. The only lights that allowed you to see your surroundings were the lights inside the stores and the dull streetlights.
Your clothes were drenched and clinging to your body, small sniffles coming from your nose indicating you were sure to get sick with a cold soon. You didn't care about something as trivial as a cold with the amount of pain, confusion and hurt swirling inside you though. You walked onwards, the opposite way that the cyborg had departed.

It felt like ages that you had been walking, you heard rumbling of rock being smashed and yelling too, "ARGH YOU MADE ME RIP THE HAND-KNIT SWEATER MY BOYFRIEND MADE FOR ME!"
You were getting closer and it made you sad to think that this was the only way to kill some time while their were murderous monster on the loose. You were shivering and you guessed your whole face was pale as your teeth were chattering so loudly.

"-he Lord of the Clan of Sea folk and I will rule this surface."

"Tch. You don't have the strength to rule alone."

You perked up at the muffled sound of that voice, you recognised it but the other was deeper and more threatening. You jogged towards the corner of the building in front of you, peeking your head around the side to get a look at Sonic; in prisoners clothing, a giant sea monster which you already knew was one of the Sea folk and a large naked man on the floor. You deadpanned- what the hell was happening.

"Do you defy me to?" The creature spoke in an authoritative tone and it brought chills down your spine, or maybe that was the harsh pelting of the rain. Sonic was completely nonchalantly, smiling lightly as if some game where he had reached the boss level; just by looking at this monster he seemed like a king- maybe that was the case. Or maybe it was because there was a giant crown on his head.

"That's my line."

Sonic finished with a cool line before the monster thrusted a nasty-looking worm from his mouth. You watched in horror, it looked like his tongue! It had a mouth too, disgusting. The thing was fast and it almost managed to bite a chunk from Sonic's side but he missed, "Too slow."

"Eek!" Shit! You accidentally squealed when watching the scene take place, Sonic had appeared in front of the creature within a second, slamming his jaw shut which made the monster bite his own tongue off. You saw Sonic; before he moved within a flash, take a glance at you. Noticing you watching him, his eyes widened tenfold before he disappeared again.

"I can see right through your moves. You should get out of here."

The creature growled in distaste but his creepy grin remained intact. You stilled, hiding your head when listening to Sonic, those words seemed like they were intended for you but why would he care about your wellbeing? The humanoid swiped at Sonic yet his efforts showed futile as the smaller ninja dodged him with ease, "I'm glad! Fighting someone like you confirms how strong I am!"

The water pelted the ground harder and you ran with all your might when observing the way the Sea folk king was growing into the hulk of the sea. Sonic, you guessed, was outdone when the creature gained much more power due to the water falling from the sky.

You appeared at another street, you opt to go straight to the evacuation centre which was the reason the city was so deserted, if only you had a map. You heard the squeaking of tires, maybe a hero- there was no way another sane person would still be here. You appeared at a pair of traffic lights and saw a guy on a bike stopping at the lights.

"Of all the times for it to be a red light... Eh? what are you doing here? All citizens should evacuate to the shelter!"

You wiped your face, there was no point though, letting out an awkward chuckle, "Ehe~.. Well you se-!"

Awkward. That was the feeling that immediately registered. Maybe you were cursed because that would make more sense. Nonetheless, standing in front of you was the person who you seriously wanted to avoid right now. He was wet and stoic, staring right at you in disbelief and every level of shock possible. You were in for it now.

Saitama stood in front of you, the bike rider; Mumen Rider, was temporarily forgotten when you watched Saitama stare you down. You weren't sure what to expect and you didn't want to wait around for anything so you did what you figured was best in that moment,

"Sorry! I'm on my way their now, Bye-bye!"

You ignored your best friend.
