Ever since the mysterious lady arrived, Scott's eyes had been glued on her. Her scent turned him on, like she had put a spell on him.

"Chad, who's that woman?" Scott asked, looking at the woman in red.

Chad chuckled lightly.. "You mean the one you've been ogling at for over an hour?"

Scott sipped some champagne from his flute. "Exactly." Keeping his eyes steadily on the woman in red. All the while he hadn't gotten a glimpse of her face as she had always had her back turned to him.

"I don't know her. Half the men here can't seem to stop looking at her. Look at her," Chad shrugged. "If you ask me, she looks like a snub. Everyone just can't seem to stay away from her, even the ladies." Chad stated to Scott.

Chad was right in a way though. The woman in red seemed to draw plenty attention from around. She was so confident and welcoming to everyone and anyone. Scott was just waiting for her to back away from the crowd to make his move.

"What are you thinking?" Chad asked, taking a sip from his flute.

"The perfect opportunity." Scott said plainly.

"The perfect opportunity for?" Chad turned to look at Scott.

"I want her." He couldn't tear his eyes off the woman in red.

"Dude," Chad rolled his eyes. "Control that hormone of yours for tonight, can you do that?"

Scott noticed that she was about to leave the group of people she was with. "That's my cue." He smirked, turning to Chad. "Hold on to this for me." He handed Chad his flute.

He turned same time she turned. He saw her laugh, and just like slo-mo, he paused to watch her flip her hair away from her face.

It was like he suddenly stopped breathing, gazing intently at her as he watched her gracefully tuck her hair behind her ear. Scott could never forget that smile, that soul lifting laugh. At first, he couldn't believe it, he wanted to doubt that it was truly the person he had been searching for, for seven long years.

"Anna." He whispered softly, feeling his entire body go numb.

"Where are you going?" Chad finally snapped him out of his daze.

Scott blinked as he turned to look at Chad. "Anna."

"Who?" Chad furrowed, he was confused. "Scott," he held Scott's arm when Scott wanted to leave. "Where are you going man?"

Scott pulled away from Chad. He looked around the hall because she suddenly disappeared, but then, he caught a glimpse of her going outside the hall. He followed, to catch up to her.

Reaching outside the hall, he frantically ran in different directions to find her but it was like she had vanished.

             "Anna!"

He kept on yelling out her name wherever he went to a place to search... Where was she?!

After some minutes, Scott returned back into the hall looking confused and distressed. Chad had quickly walked up to him, looking as confused as Scott.

"What the hell man?!" Chad frowned, he wasn't used to seeing Scott that way. "Where did you suddenly run off to?"

Scott ran his finger through his hair. "I-I-I don't know. What if my mind is playing tricks on me?"

"Scott?" Chad placed a hand on Scott's shoulder. "Are you alright?" He was getting concerned.

Before Scott could answer, someone's voice interrupted.

"If it isn't the great Scott Ontario." It was Esta.

Scott turned to see who it was. It took some seconds to recognize her. He hadn't seen her after graduation so his memory was a bit haze, Esta didn't change much at all. Still the same blonde green eyed, although she was taller.

"Don't tell me you don't remember me?" Esta chuckled, going closer to Chad and Scott. "Hi, I'm Esta." Esta said to Chad who took her hand for a shake.

       "Chad." Chad smiled at her.

She looked at Scott. "Gosh, we must take a selfie. I need to have one with the sexiest man alive." Esta winked at him. "You look even better in person Scott." She hugged him, giving him air kisses.

Scott smiled at her. "How are you?"

"I've been good." Esta waved her phone in the air. "Selfie?"

     They took a group selfie.

"It's been ages Scott, you seem to be all over the place." Esta told him.

"Sorry, Excuse me." Chad said to them so he could leave them to talk.

     "Yeah." Scott nodded slowly.

"I always knew you'd go places." She shrugged her shoulders. "I'm really happy we meet again, I mean, it's been so long! Seems only yesterday you were crowned prom king and today you're topping Forbes most eligible hot bachelors not only that, you're the sexiest man alive." Esta didn't seem to run out or what to say. "A huge celebrity. Wow."

Scott listened to Esta talk about her life after school, she'd had gotten a degree in criminology but she worked in her father's multi-million textile company.

"Are you still in contact with our classmates?" Esta asked him.

"No. I lost most of my contacts back then." Scott admitted to her.

"Oh." Esta nodded. "Let me have yours so we can keep in touch." She smiled.

Scott handed his card to her.

"Good. So I'll text you." She said to him, placing the card into her purse. "Ooh, did I tell you? You won't believe who I ran into today, here in this gala." She seemed so excited to tell him.

He really wasn't interested to know. Esta was still the same talkative gossip she was back in high school. Old habits die hard. He said mentally.

"At first I wasn't sure she was the one because God, she was totally different! I'm sure if you'd seen her, you would have been as shocked as I was." Esta expressed her genuine amazement. "It was Anna. Anna Windsor."

Scott gave Esta a look that meant you better not fuck with me right now. "What?" Maybe he heard wrongly.

"I met Anna." Esta said again.

   "A-Anna?" He stuttered out.

"Scott I don't think you would have recognized her. I swear, she was very different. A good different." Esta told him.

It wasn't his mind playing any tricks, it was really... Anna? Anna was there the whole time, he was looking at her, yet he didn't know?

Esta mistook his silence for an I-do-not-care. "Listen, Scott, I know you and Anna really had a rough ending back then, it wasn't a secret to anyone. But, you must have moved on from that right?" She told him as he continued to stare at her blankly. "Anna is different now, she's changed. And I like the new her. To be honest, there were many back then that really wished they could have what you had with Anna. Nobody ever knew what went wrong between both of you, even until she left." Esta smiled at him.

"I wasn't able to really get a lot of information from her because she didn't want to talk about her private life, but I know she stays here in Ireland and that she is a pastry chef. She also gave me a number to call if I wanted to reach her," she pulled out a small paper, handing it over to Scott. "You should have this."

Just then, someone had called Esta's attention.

"I guess I better go." She chuckled. "It was nice meeting you again Scott." She leaned over to his cheek, giving him air kisses on both before leaving.

While Esta talked, Scott was busy thinking. Thinking about Anna, about everything that happened years ago, he never for one day stopped blaming himself for letting her leave.

Scott glanced at the paper. There was a number written on it. He needed to find Anna as soon as possible and probably mend whatever had been broken. At least he had a lead.... Anna was in Ireland.

  Next day.....

"Isla! Come down here honey! Mommy made your favorite." Anna yelled out, at the foot of the stairs. After yelling she went back into the kitchen.

Isla gracefully walked down the stairs in her school uniform with her long hair packed in pigtails. She heard the landline telephone ring out.

"I'll get it!!" She yelled, going to the living room to answer the phone. "Hello?" Her tiny voice came through as soon as she placed the receiver over her left ear.

     "H-hello?"

Isla noticed that the deep voice was a male. "Who is this?" She asked confidently.

"I wanna be sure if I'm calling the right number."

Isla knew the person sounded unsure, she sighed aloud. "Can you tell me your name?"

There was a short pause... "Can I speak to Anna Windsor... Please."

It was Isla's turn to pause.. "Why?" She asked the stranger.

     "So this is her number?"

"I did not say that." Isla shook her head. What if this person was a bad person? Why was he talking weirdly. Isla thought. Her mom taught her not to answer strange calls or give out personal informations to strangers.

"He-Hello? Are you there?" The voice was unsure.

"Sorry, wrong number." Isla replaced the receiver on hook.

Just then, Anna entered... "Who called?" Anna asked her daughter.

"It was a wrong number." Isla shrugged, turning to her mom. "And I didn't give out personal informations mommy." She gave her mom a big smile.

"That's fantastic." She highfived Isla. "Alright now, come have breakfast, we don't want to be late for school." Anna said taking her daughter by the hand.

"Can't I say home with you mommy? I'm tired." Isla stopped walking. She fell to the floor, sprawled out her legs.

Anna groaned... "Peaches not today." Anna dragged her daughter along the floor, trying to get her to the kitchen to eat. "This is not funny young lady." Anna said when Isla kept giggling, enjoying the way Anna dragged her along the mabled floor.

"Wow, this is fun!" Isla laughed as she is dragged around by her mom.

Anna picked her up, placing her on a high stool in the kitchen. "You're enjoying this aren't you?" She pouted at Isla.

"Whoa..." Isla's eyes widened. "Mommy, you look so pretty today." Isla smiled at her mom.

Anna stared at her daughter. She was the spitting image of her father, it made Anna lick her lips nervously. Isla was growing everyday, looking more like him. It scared her.... Sometimes.

"Tha-thank you." Anna managed to smile, giving Isla a kiss on the head. "You know I love you right?" She hugged Isla's neck.

"I love you too mommy." Isla said, pouring syrup over her pancakes. "Mommy join me." Isla tapped the counter, gesturing for Anna to sit.

Anna chuckled. "Okay. Do you want me to help you?" She asked, sitting on the counter.

"Let me feed you." Isla told Anna.

Anna helped Isla cut the pancakes into smaller bits.

"Open wide, ahhhhh." Isla pointed a fork to Anna's mouth.

Anna opened her mouth and received the bits into her mouth. "Mmmmm."

"Another one." Isla held out another fork-ful towards Anna but Anna shook her head.

"Go on and eat." Anna took the fork away from Isla's hand, facing it to Isla's mouth. "Ahh." Isla opened her mouth, allowing Anna place it into her mouth. "Is it good?"

"Mmmhm." She nodded, with her mouth full.

Scott sighed as soon as he dropped the receiver. He decided to meet up with Daniel.

"Daniel I need your help." Scott sounded desperate. He had told Daniel to come over to the penthouse he stayed in.

"With what?" Daniel raised a brow at him. "For you to call me all the way here, it must be something serious."

"I need your help in finding someone." He told Daniel.

     "Who?"

"Anna." Scott nodded, looking at Daniel.

Daniel lost his words, he just stared at Scott without uttering a word.

"Anna is here in Galway. I saw her last night at the Gala." He said to Daniel.

"How sure are you it was her?" Daniel narrowed his eyes at Scott.

"It was her, I know it. Please, I know you have a way of helping me out. Daniel, I'm begging you, help me locate her. I contacted a number I was given but a little girl answered telling me it was a wrong number." Scott said, explaining everything.

"Scott, we've been through this before, you can't —"

"I saw her okay!" He ran his fingers through his hair. "Just help me find her."

Daniel massaged his forehead. "Fine, I'll help you." Daniel nodded, finally agreeing to it.

"Thank you." Scott managed to smile at him.

Ever since Anna left, Daniel couldn't understand why Scott could not move on from her. There was a point in Scott's life when he spent a year looking for Anna and the Ontarios thought he needed therapy, it was really bad.

"Please don't tell mom and dad, this is nothing like last time. I swear." Scott was serious.

"I won't, but you should know there is a probability that she isn't really here." Daniel said to Scott. He didn't want Scott getting his hopes up.

"We can at least try." Scott said calmly.

/Coming home by Diddy/

Naraya and Anna are seated in the resturant, they were talking.

"So you mean there weren't any hot men at the gala?" Naraya asked Anna.

"Naraya please okay? Stop talking about me when it's about you. You lost your job, and we're talking about a gala?" Anna frowned at her cousin.

"Anna it's not the end of the world! When life gives you lemons you make lemonades." Naraya smiled. "Who cares about that stupid job anyway, I was getting bored." Naraya shrugged like it wasn't a big deal.

Anna couldn't get why Naraya was nonchalant about losing her job. "Is there anything I could do to help?" She was concerned.

Naraya rolled her eyes. "I'm fine, stop worrying okay? We'll figure something out."

"Why don't you work here instead?" Anna asked her.

"For the hundredth time, no. I don't want it to seem like I always put all my burdens on you. You've helped me too much." Naraya declined.

"What do you mean burden? You're my cousin, I'm supposed to help you. Besides, you're Isla's second mother." Anna frowned at her.

"Anna, I know you mean well. But let me do my thing okay?" Naraya said to Anna. "So now, you've decided to move back to America?" Naraya changed the subject.

"It's only for sometime." Anna told her.

"And Isla? Is Isla going with you?"

"No she isn't. I don't want her to change her environment. She still has to go to school remember?" Anna told Naraya half truth. Another reason was because she didn't want Isla there. "But I'll be coming home from time to time."

"Have you told Isla and Syla about your decision?"

Anna nodded. "Aunt Syla was against me leaving Isla at first but she came around. And Isla?" She chuckled. "Peaches doesn't know I'm going so far away, she thinks America is close by."

"You have nothing to worry about, Isla is in safe hands." Naraya assured Anna.

   Back at the Ontarios mansion...

"I'm proud of you my baby." Rhonda gave Scott a hug.

"Mom, you don't need to be mushy." Scott chuckled. "Where's dad?" He asked as he pulled away.

"He's at the office with your brother." Rhonda smiled.

"Daniel? Daniel is back?" Scott was actually surprised as Daniel didn't tell him he was coming back.

"Yes. Scott dear, has your brother told you anything?" His mother asked him.

"Anything about?" Scott squinted at at her.

"I don't know, a girl he's been seeing recently?" Rhonda asked her son.

"Really? Daniel is seeing someone?" Scott had surprise written on his face. "I didn't know that."

"Your father and I have a hunch that his last trip out of the country was not just any trip, we think he went to see someone."

"And you think it's a woman?" Scott furrowed.

"Yes. It has to be a woman."

"Mom," Scott chuckled. "I think you should stay away from Daniel's business, if indeed there is a woman, he'll tell you guys." Scott laughed at the thought of Daniel with a woman.

Scott knew his brother too well, he knew Daniel never talked about the women he was dating or seeing. He never even introduced any woman to his parents, although too, Scott never did too. Daniel said women were always a distraction, Scott would always laugh and tease him about being married to the company.
