"Y/n I-I love you," he said is his soft deep tone as tears continued rolling down my cheek.

I froze, my heart skipping beats, his hands loosening the longer I took to say something.

"G-Gabriel-i," I got cut off by my mother storming into the room angry.

"GABRIEL STEP AWAY FROM MY DAUGHTER!!!" She yelled storming over to us.

We both quickly got up from the floor.

"Mum! Stop! I'm fine!" I Yelled walking back holding Gabriel's hand tightly.

"No honey you're not, I can see you are in pain, him and his friends are making you sad again!"

"Mum I'm fine! If you actually stopped bossing me around and listened to me for a second you would have known that even though my friends have only been here for 10 minutes, this is the most amount of time I've actually been truly happy!"

She stayed quiet.

"Mum these people are not only my friends they are my family, maybe even more than you are."

"Honey please, you don't need them. Gabriel get away from her, you're messaging up her mind,"

"No Gabriel don't! Mum I know you're scared that you're gonna lost me but I'm not like my brother and dad, and how they left us. But you know what I thought about it. You can't hold onto me my whole life please. I don't even have any friends or a job here, where with them I could actually live my life, just please mum if not now then think about it just dont rip my friends away again." I said stepping towards her so we were about one step apart, I looked deep into her eyes. They were filled with sadness but sympathy.

I knew what she was going to say, and she didn't like it.

"ok." she breathed as she turned her head towards Gabriel.

"take care of her, but y/n I want you to call me once a week and i'll visit you as much as I'm allowed. I'm sorry, I never really realised how you felt." My mum had her head looking back at me slowly raising her hands, soon taking a hold on mine.

"I love you, be safe," she whispered as she pulled me into a hug.

"thank you," I said as a small smile appeared on my face.

My mum soon left the room after asking what I was going to do, but all I said is..

"i'm not sure but where ever I'm at I promise I'll be with the people I live, Oh and I ok try and tell you where I am,"

When my mother had left gabriel ran up to me grabbing my waist, pulling me into him. As I crashing into his chest I heard everyone crash into the hospital room. I quickly looked up at gabriel and lightly kissed him on the cheek before turning up to Zhen-Zhen and squeezing her.

It was weird i was actually happy, i haven't felt like this in years. mostly since my father left but who cares now, cause i'm now free and surrounded by people i love. love.

shit Gabriel. i haven't said it back yet!

As everyone left the room so I can get my thing to leave, i left two eyes staring into the back of my head.

i spun in my heels coming face to face with the boy of my dreams. i wrapped my arms around his neck going onto my tippy toes just so i can come face to face with the boy.

"I love you too, Gabriel," I said softly.

as i was looking into his eyes i could tell that he as happy to hear that as his eyes lit up with happiness. he gripped his hand on the back of my head resting our foreheads together.

i closed my eyes only to soon be met with soft gentle lips against mine, it wasn't like any of our other kisses this one was more meaningful and passionate, like we had both been waiting for the moment forever. before i knew it he drew is lips away from mine, i looked up at him pouting and using the puppy face.

he giggled and leaned down into me head.

" we can continue this later," he first whispered, he moved back to to be looking down at me again.

"when you know, we aren't in a creepy hospital," he said with a cheeky smiling, hold back the laughs.

i smiled and shook my head,

he's so adorable, i thought.

i grabbed my bags got dressed and left with the gang.

we all stayed at a hotel, because we had to wait for my car to be fixed.

Zhen-Zhen and alex shared and room cause well, you know why. ;)

dariush wanted to be alone, but he wasn't for long before he got some girl some the park we hung out at. poor girl, i don't know what she sees in him.

that leaves gabriel and i, he insisted on sharing a room, which means i couldn't really say no.

before the first night at the hotel, i took everyone to my favourite spots around town.

one of them was yes the park, then we walked along the pier, Gabriel almost jumped in cuz dariush dared him too, but i just looked at him and shook my head.

he didn't end up jumping in.

we did get stopped by a lot of people because they knew everyone else, but i soon got recognised.

as we walked to the next stop, i pulled out my phone i saw that my mum had texted me telling me she was gonna go on her own vacation, all the way over to australia ( where i live )

i quickly text her telling her i'm happy for her, but as i went to put my phone back in my pocket someone grabbed my phone.

i pulled my head up to see gabriel looking at my phone cover.

it was clear but it had polaroids, the ones from when it was the apocalypse.

there was 2 photos, one with the all 5 of us and the other was a picture of us sleeping that Zhen-Zhen took before she woke us all up, she didn't tell me until we all split.

i  remember what she said as she did.

"y/n i've really grown to like you, and right now i love you like a best friend even though i've only known you for like 3 days but at camp you were like the only one to try and talk to me other than Alex of course, but just in case we never see each other or  we get split up or even if one of us doesn't make it i want you to have these, it's the photos from when we were hiding in the house," i grabbed it only thinking there as two, till one other one fell on the floor.

" what's this?" i said picking it up,

" oh right u can have that one too, i thought you would love it," she said with a cheeky smile. i pulled her into a hug then we let and got on with out mini mission for the boys.

" I still think it's unfair how she gave you the pictures, and oh- what's this one?" he said looking at the other one of us two.

" uh yeah- aha it's good cause then i had something to remember you guys by." i said looking down.

"y/n how the hell did you get a picture of us sleeping?" he said worried.

i just laughed and pointed to Zhen-Zhen.

He shook his head and then wrapped his hands on my waist, me thinking he wanted to hug, well was stupid.

i mean who would think that next he was going to pick me up and put me into a chair, he patted his back and told me to hop on like the old times.

I giggled and jumped on, his hands like always burning threw my clothes, but still with the soft touch of a feather.
