"Hey u okay?" Gabriel said looking back at me.

Him talking kinda woke me up.

"NO." Alex said strongly still talking to the guy.

"What did it say,son?" The man said back.

"I said no, I made a promise I wouldn't let anything stop me. So I'm gonna keep trying and it will be a lot easier, if you would help me. WE DIDNT COME ALL THIS WAY TO GIVE UO NOW. We're done being told what we can and can't do. We made it across half of Southern California. Past aliens and soldiers-"
Alex explained.

"A diddler, DONT forget about the diddler," Dariush added in.

"All the way here. Nobody helped us get here. All we had was each other. So you're gonna listen to me, because we're not kids anymore ( stranger things :( ) and we're the best chance you've got. I'm going to ask you one more time general. What do we need to do to get this thing working?"

"Alright, someone need to go down to the basement and fire up, the emergency generators. Start then in sequence, exactly 4 seconds apart. Send your fastest, strongest —" the guy started.

"ILL DO IT!"

"ME TOO," said Zhen-Zhen and I.

"I'm Sorry, that sounded like two young girls?" The big man said.

Wow kinda offensive, I feel hurt. Jk

"Ohh, Yeah! Aliens don't stand a chance against them," Dariush commented.

"Alright! You girls will need to climb through the vent, the vault door won't open until the power is back on."

"got it," we said jinxing.

Zhen-Zhen and Alex walk over to each other so I slowly turned to Gabriel.

"Be careful please, I can't lose you." Gabriel said looking down.

"Don't worry... you won't." I said softly.

"See you soon..."

"Promise?" He asked. Looking back up, placing his hands the each side of my face.

"Promise," I answered slowly. I look over to see Zhen-Zhen ready to go.

So I get up on my tippy toes and kiss him of the cheek before running off to Zhen-Zhen.

"Ahhhhhh" we both screamed as we fell down the vent.

"Ow," we laughed, I got up quickly not realising my ankle was bleeding again. Only if I noticed before...

We made our way around looking for a hitch of switches.

"There switches," I said pointing to them.

We both quickly ran over to them.

"Four three two one," we counted.

Once we got the last one, everything lit up.

"Yes, okay lets go" I said grabbing her hand.

"Look the vault," as Zhen-Zhen started to put the numbers into the vault, a lady lying on the floor whispered something.

"no.." I could just make out what she said and put zhen-zhen out of the way, the alien dog jumping on top of me bumping me out of the way so he could get to the screaming lady.

"go go I'll catch up, I promise," I whispered to zhen-zhen.

She slowly put surely got up and walked out, the alien not seeing her.

I looked down at my leg, holding it as I was in excruciating pain. I tried to get up but I kept falling down.

"come on.... come on" I whispered to myself.

As I finally got up with the help of the wall I slowly made my way to the vault, luckily the alien didn't notice.

I closed the door, behind me soon falling back to my butt.

"fuck, uh" i just looked around for a easier way out, I couldn't find anything.

At that moment I knew it was done for me.

I could feel the water in my eyes slowly roll down my cheek, falling on top of my lips.

The saltiness of them eased my body.

I didn't brother calling out, I knew no one would hear me.

But I guess it didn't suck too much, like I could just think what it would have been like if I did make it and what Gabriel and I would be like.

Everything began to shake.

"They did it, good job guys," I said closing my eyes.

"ZHEN-ZHEN WHERE IS SHE!" I yelled as we began to run out of the building.

"SHE SAID SHE WILL CATCH UP SHES PROBABLY ALREADY OUTSIDE COME ON!"

Dariush, Zhen-Zhen and I waited out side for y/n and Alex.

"Alex?" Zhen-zhen said quietly. Unsure if it was him.

I slowly made it out to be Alex.

"ALEX, OH MY-" everyone made there way over the him and have him a hug.

"Where is she, where's y/n?!?" I look around everyone was clueless.

"I'm going back in," I said running off before Dariush grabbed my hand.

"Dude come on," he said pulling me back.

I felt my eyes start to water.

I-I can't let her go.please

"What happened zhen-zhen? What happened back there?" I asked.

She told us that she saved zhen-zhen's life mostly, but she also said that she was that y/n was losing blood from her leg and that y/n looked really tired.

"HEY KIDS COME ON!" The soldiers where here.

"PLEASE HELP, OUR FRIEND IS STILL IN THERE!!" We all began to yell at the multiple men.

"What's there name?"they asked.

"Y/n" I said softly.

"OK YOU KIDS GO WITH THEM... LETS GO BOYS,"

The other men behind us wrapped towels around us and guided us away from the building.

I tried to refuse but they just pulled me away.

Y/N'S POV

"HELLO Y/N"

I slowly opened my eyes to see everything collapsed around me, but in the distance a voice yelling my name.

"HELLO YES IM OVER HERE!!" I Yelled back.

At first I thought is was Gabriel but then two military men pulled me out of the ditch I was in and carried me towards an ambulance.

"Where my fiends? Where's Gabriel?" I asked Concerned.

"They are safe, now let's get you to a hospital,"

Ayyyy so hopefully that was okay
And don't worry there will be more chapters but I was thinking making it into another book like a series because it will be like a different topic.

So the next book or chapter will be about them going back to high school and trying to find each other or whatever.
