Chapter nine: "Still Hurts"

"Penelope" Ramira called out my name

I looked up at her from my plate full of food "Yeah?"

It was breakfast time and all the girls looked at each other awkwardly as they try to say something to me, Ella sighed "We noticed that you have back pain, you didn't have it last night" she pointed it out

I glared at Cloud from the distance being seated at the other table with the guys not knowing I was glaring daggers at him "Why don't you ask him?" I grumbled

Natalie and Ramira cleared their throats

"And how about the...middle?" Brie asked me
What the heck are they talking about?

I just decided to be honest "It still hurts" I answered simply before I continued eating

The entire night, Cloud made me do an entire before sleep workout with him so I could lose my brattiness and my entire body hurts like hell.
He should become a fitness coach instead of becoming an Astronomer at this point

Adeline finished up her food "Did you guys use protection?"

I raised a brow at her "What protection? We didn't bring any protection"
Who would bring workout gear to a wedding party?

Wendy dropped her spoon by accident "Sorry" she then stood up "I'll get another spoon"

Ramira, my sisters, and some of my girl cousins looked at each other. Juliet sets down her glass of pineapple juice "Let's just hope that it doesn't bring a new life right now" she spoke to all of us

"Anybody other than us should keep this secret, got it?" Caramia instructed them and the girls agreed
Why do they need to keep this conversation a secret? It's just an after work out pain after all

Vivi glanced at me then sighs as she puts her hand on her face "The least that you should do is be quiet last night, I was in your neighboring hotel room"

I gave her a sheepish grin "Sorry, I can't help it"

Natalie patted Vivi on the shoulder like how a person is comforting someone
I must've been too loud last night

After breakfast, all the girls started to go to Aunt Laborè for the dress fitting along with another dress designer. While I was wearing the dress that was supposed to be simple and easy, it felt so painful with a sore body.

Natalie saw my struggle so she walked up to me and stood in front to cover me from Aunt Laborè's view

The girls helped me put on the dress and I feel touched that they worry about me a lot

I still gave Cloud the silent treatment and avoided him like the plague when he tries to talk to me
My entire body was sore because of that guy

My legs are sorer than my waist and arms combined. When I reached Caramia's bedroom all the girls are in there, Vivi and Juliet hooked their arms around mine trapping me between them

"Was that your first time unprotected?" Natalie asked me while holding a small notepad and a ballpen at the other hand

I was sat down on one chair while my two cousins are on both of my sides

"That was my first time and it was unprotected, why would you ask?" I asked while leaning back at the chair

"Oh God" all of them groaned

We heard knocking at the door and Brie stood up to answer it

"Have you seen Angel? I couldn't find her around the hotel" I could hear Cloud from the other side of the door

Brie glanced at me then back at Cloud "I don't think she wants to talk to you right now" she smiled before closing the door shut then locking it

"What are we gonna do?" I asked them since I was called here

One of my cousins named Zoe scratched the back of her head "We don't really know what to do next"

I sighed then slowly stood up to avoid the instant sore feeling of my legs "Then I guess I'll be going, see you guys later for the rehearsal" I left the room and headed back to the hotel room

Cloud was waiting for me while he sat on the bed with a serious expression "About last night, I'm sorry about that"

I scoffed "You seemed to enjoy my pain of getting my entire body sore" I comment then started waddling to the bathroom to start up the jacuzzi inside and warmed up the water

My feet brought me back to the room and grabbed my bathing suit, not the black one that Cheryl bought me but the white two-piece one, so it would be easy to remove it right after the bath. I changed into the swimsuit and slowly lowered myself into the warm water of the jacuzzi.

A relieved sigh escaped from my lips as my body relaxed, I felt someone dip in the water behind me before a hand grabbed me by the waist and I was bow sitting between Cloud's legs while I rested the back of my head on his chest.

We both enjoyed the outside view of the hotel while we bathed together

"I'm still angry at you" I muttered to him

He kissed my shoulder "Sorry Angel" I said to me before his hands started to massage my back to relieve my soreness
If I didn't love this guy I could've hit him center in the face

I turned my body around to face him and have my legs on both of his sides while I was now sitting on his lap, my hands went to play with his wet hair "The girls kept asking me about last night, they asked if I used protection and if that was my first time because my body was sore"

Cloud's eyes widened and a smirk was now on his lips, his hand went under my chin "I think they were asking if we had sex last night" he answered
That was the most straightforward answer and it hit me right in the head

A loud gasp erupted from my chest "OH SHIT!"
I answered all of their questions so nonchalantly that now they think we really did do something last night

"I could take a hint that the girls are already assuming that we did something last night" he sighed "Too bad it's not true"

"Get your head out of the gutter Marshall, this is serious"

"My head's always in the gutter, now it only needs to be between your le-"
I shut his mouth with my hand before he could finish that sentence.
If Cloud covers my mouth from saying stupid things, I will cover his from saying dirty things

I splashed some water into his face before I broke free from his strong grip around my waist and I managed to get to the other end of the jacuzzi

"I'll just explain it to them properly before the wedding rehearsal" I snapped my fingers and nodded my head
Sounds easy enough

"So yeah, that's what happened" I explained to the girl's everything from last night and I have never seen Caramia more relieved than Natalie in my entire life

"Thank God, I thought we might become aunts from such a young age" Wendy said to me while walking around with one of the flower girl dresses

"You almost gave me a heart attack you stupid bitch" Vivi slapped my arm and I gave out a small laugh

"Sorry about that Vivi"

"Girls get to your places now!" Aunt Holly announced to us and I started walking to the piano beside Cloud who intertwined his finger with mine while we hold hands.

He let's go when he sat down at the side and the rehearsal started with me playing the piano

Ramira entered with her Dad, her smile was contagious. Even though it is only the rehearsal you can feel that it almost felt like the actual wedding.

Cloud has his eyes only glued to me during the entire rehearsal of me playing the piano. I shot him a smile with a wink and he winked back at me

The rehearsal left me a bit tired but it was super fun since we get to laugh quite a lot with Dylan who keeps forgetting his wedding vows every few minutes

Cloud puts his arm around me while we left the wedding venue "So what did your sisters say?"

"They told me that they're relieved that they won't become an aunt yet" I giggled

His eyes were filled with warmth "Don't worry, if I ever got you pregnant before marriage I'll take responsibility and step up to becoming Dad"

Cloud sounds so excited at the thought of becoming a Dad
