Chapter thirty-seven: "Please Go Away"

As soon as me and Cloud stepped out of the building, we were bombarded by interviewers and photographers
This is troublesome, it's too crowded to run and escape them

"Ms. Price, Any words about your relationship?" a reporter asked me

Cloud pulled me by the arm and whispered "Don't answer her question, if you answer one then all of them want an answer" he advised me

I kept my mouth shut and pretended I wasn't hearing all of the questions thrown at me and Cloud
It was hard not to ignore some of the questions because they touch on sensitive topics like Cloud's family

It was a great idea that we were wearing sunglasses because it helped us navigate through the crowd without blinding us by the flashing cameras left and right
No matter how far we've walked the crowd just kept following us which is why we never got to escape them

The noise and lights made my head hurt so much that I had to grip Cloud's hand to stop, he noticed my uneasiness even if I was wearing sunglasses. He knew right away that my head was hurting because I have a hand resting on one side of my head
I was still recovering from the lack of food and rest yesterday and the paparazzi is just making my condition worst

Since we couldn't escape them Cloud removed his coat and put it on top of me so I could be covered, I felt him hug me close to his chest then I looked up at him to see that he was staring at the paparazzi

His hand reached for the temple of his sunglasses and removed it right in front of them with an irritated face, Cloud didn't need to speak that they needed to stop because his eyes were portraying so much anger because he was pissed

One by one, all of them started to notice his piercing gaze in his forest-green eyes and knew they needed to stop. The first person to stop was a woman interviewer than she urged the photographer that she was with to stop taking pictures, others followed suit

Everybody was now silent and none of them made a single move

Cloud hugged me tighter "My girlfriend is getting a headache because of you all, if she fainted right here right now I am going to make your lives miserable"
Alright, that threat that he made also shocked me

He wouldn't just casually threaten their peaceful lives if I fainted right in front of them
Cloud right now was dead serious and there was no hint of anything funny behind those words

My hand slowly reached for his coat and I tugged it lightly to catch his attention, Cloud switched his attention to look down on me. I pleaded with him with my eyes as I shake my head "Just tell them to go away, don't threaten them"

There a was a throbbing pain on my left side of my head and I lost balance but luckily Cloud caught me quickly since he was just right in front of me, I used my strength to remove his coat on me and faced the paparazzi "Please go away"

My head was hurting so much that I had to close my eyes and rest it on his chest right in front of them

"If you managed to keep your jobs it was thanks to her but if you people ever force yourselves to follow us like this again I won't hesitate to do it"

A guy from the paparazzi spoke up "But what about our articles? Our bosses won't let us off if we just came back empty handed" he explained
It's true that they need a story to put it on their website but they were going to far

Cloud looked at me before leaning close to my ear to whisper "What are we gonna tell them Angel?"

"Just say what you think about our relationship so we can get out of here" I said to him in a desperate manner of wanting to get out of this predicament

His eyes were filled with so much worry that I have to give him a small smile of encouragement so he could end this, Cloud sighed before glaring at them which made them froze in their place

"So you all want to know more about our relationship?" He asked then all of them nodded simultaneously

He pinched the bridge of his nose is frustration "I met Angel since we were little and I grew to love her"

They finished writing down what Cloud said before looking at me waiting for my answer

"Cloud used to be someone I hate before but surprisingly after many events that happened between us I ended up loving him, is that the answer you all want?" I ask

"That event was the wild goose chase right?" A woman asked me

Me and Cloud both looked at each other and chuckled "It was not only that, there were many more" Cloud said with a smile on his face while gazing down on me

All of them started to look eager wanting to know more but I finally put a line to stop them from crossing it "But it's a secret" I added with my finger on my lips like a hush

When we started walking away all of them tried to ask more but Cloud twisted his head then they went quiet again

He puts an arm around me once we reached my campus "Those people are so annoying"

I rubbed my temples and while leaning a bit of my upper body next to him, I stayed silent since my energy was now low and no matter how much I try to stop and regain my energy it would still be low

"Angel if you can't push forward I can take you to the hospital" Cloud suggested to me, he couldn't take his eyes off me even for a second while we walked together

He was keeping a watchful eye because I might faint again due to my lack of energy
I swore I did ate breakfast this morning but it was not much since my appetite was low too

"Cloud, I told you I'm fine"

"But you're not! It's quite obvious Angel you can't fool my eyes"

"If I take a rest then I might miss out on my lessons in class" I tried my best to persuade Cloud
Being a college student wasn't easy and it would only get uneasier if I take a rest and miss out on a class

No matter how smart you are as long as you miss a class you'll be 3 steps behind quickly and also because the professors are monsters in giving out assignments

He shakes his head at me "I could ask somebody to seat in for you in class, you could learn it later but for now your health is important" the hand that was holding mine tightened preventing me taking another step closer to my university

"Cloud if you keep this up you will be late for your class"

My boyfriend checked his watch which was my gift to him "I still have an hour before it starts so it would be a perfect time to take you to the hospital"

"Cloud"

"Angel I'm not taking a no"

I crossed my arms at him and pouted "So do I!"

"You're making this harder than it already seems" he complained and I grinned at him mischievously with my hands behind my back

I ignored him and continued to walk to university but suddenly I felt my feet being lifted off the ground and I was now slumped over at Cloud's shoulder like a towel "What the-" "I'm not letting you go to class"
