I woke up early that morning. Jungkook was still sleeping but I noticed that he was sweaty. Was he okay?
"Jungkook? Are you alright?" I asked him and he slowly opened his eyes. "Oh, yeah don't worry about that we get side effects if we stay on land for too long." He responded wiping in his eyes. "Isn't it dangerous? Do you know how long you can stay on land?" I asked.

He shook his head. "No. No one has ever tried to stay on land longer then 2 weeks. Once there was a siren who wanted to live on land because she didn't want to kill and be a siren and she thought it wouldn't be a problem to just live with legs. But the side effects got worse everyday and when the second week was done she became very sick. She couldn't walk anymore and she threw up with every movement she made. She immediately returned to the water but she never got her legs back. We all think the next step for her would've been death. That's why no one dares to stay longer then 2 weeks. But that story is 1000 years old, so I don't know if that's all still the case." He told me.
I listened carefully to every word he said.

Interesting.

"Shouldn't you return in that case?" I asked him. "Maybe, yeah. But I'll come back soon. In the meanwhile try to find a spot to build a home, so you at least have a roof over your head and a place to sleep in." He told me. I nodded and started to walk through the woods. I found a pretty spot with a little waterfall and wondered why no one had made a home there.
"I wouldn't even think about it." A man said from behind me. "What do you mean?" I asked him. "I wouldn't sleep here." He continued. I wanted to ask him why but then I remembered that Jungkook warned me not to talk to guys.

"I'm sorry, Jungkook told me not to talk to other men." I said before turning away from him. He seemed worried for some reason. "I'm Hoseok. You can call me Hobi though." He said. "Hoseok I really appreciate your help but I have to refuse it. You need to go before he returns." I almost yelled at him. Why couldn't he just leave? He was putting himself and me in danger.

He looked at me confused.

"Leave!" I hissed at him.
"Can I at least know your name?" He asked me.

"I'm Y/N. Now go."
