"Wow! The view is stunning," Avni exclaimed, watching the Eiffel tower from their penthouse on the top floor of the building. The snow covering the tower reflects the early morning sun rays, making it even more appealing.

Siddharth smiled, hugging her from behind and resting his head on her shoulder. He locked her between the glass wall and his torso, inhaling her fruity fragrance.

"Do you like the house?" He asked, turning her around and kissing her cheeks.

"Yes," Avni mumbled as his lips grazed her neckline, creating butterflies in her tummy.

"The view?" He whispered, kissing her jawline, completely lost. She became his sweet addiction.

"Yes," Avni murmured as his husky voice and actions messed with her senses.

"The place?" Siddharth continued to torture her leisurely with his touches and kisses.

"Yes." Avni arched her neck sideways, giving him better access.

"The bed?" Siddharth said in a mere whisper.

"Yes." Avni's breath hitched, and her stomach was in knots as he licked her earlobe. Her eyes shot open in confusion, not feeling his touch, and he stood in front of her, smirking at her reply.

"Me too," Siddharth chuckled, crossing his arms.

It took a few moments for Avni to realize what had happened, and she blushed a deep shade of crimson red, comprehending his naughty act. She wet her lips, trying to come up with something feeling his intense gaze.

Siddharth groaned, finding it sensual, and he grabbed her by her waist in a split second. His lips found hers and kissed her deeply, relishing the taste of chocolate on her lips that she previously ate. The kiss was wild and full of passion as he fulfilled his raw desires, and she gave in enjoying the moment.

Their tongues were battling for dominance. She eventually gave up loving his control over her mind and body. Her hand played with his hair pulling him closer while his hands rested against her cheek, holding her face in place.

Siddharth left her instantly, realizing that she needed to breathe, and rushed into the washroom without any delay. If he stayed any longer, he would lose the tiny bit of control and end up in bed. He wished to give her enough time to find comfort and accept these desires without hesitation.

Avni blushed, recalling the morning incident, drying her wet hairs. The city of love is weaving its magic in their life, and she loved the progress.ย

Avni inspected the house leisurely. The place wasn't huge, with only a kitchen, hall, and bedroom just like she desired. Their own little space! She smiled, loving the idea. Apparently, she had absolutely no idea about anything like how long they would stay, but that seemed unnecessary.

Avni's eyes widened in astonishment as Siddharth came into the hall. He looked more handsome, if that's even possible, in faded blue jeans, a white T-shirt, and a jacket.

"Get ready soon, baby girl. We're going out," Siddharth said, settling down on a couch and grabbing a newspaper.

Avni frowned, observing the newspaper. "You read French?" She questioned in surprise.

"Yeah," Siddharth stated as a matter of fact and explained further as she stood confused, "I did an internship here for two months during college."

It was his turn to drool over his gorgeous wife as she walked out in high-waisted white jeans and a lavender sweatshirt. She paired them with sneakers and tied her hair into a ponytail. Never did he witness Avni putting in efforts to get ready, and now that she did, she looked flawless like a pretty doll.

Avni prayed for a moment before coming to him, and he loved that habit of hers. She never forgets her traditions and values wherever she is.

"Shall we go?" Avni spoke, entwining their hands, and they together proceeded towards their brand new Lamborghini Siddharth arranged for them.

"I'll drive," Avni pleaded in excitement, loving the car, and Siddharth obliged. When did he ever deny his girl!

Driving with her husband sitting next to her was thrilling. He directed her while she continuously nagged him to reveal the place like always.

"Disneyland!?" Avni exclaimed, halting the car and jumping out of it. Siddharth parked the car in the meantime while she gaped at the entrance.

Avni's eyes wandered across the vast entry as she spotted her favorite characters, including Anna and Elsa from Frozen.

The sparkle in her hazel blue orbs was worth everything though Disneyland bored him to the core. He wasn't a fan of cartoons in his childhood and rather enjoyed playing sports.

Avni clapped, encouraging the kids who danced with their favorite characters. One of the kids later pulled her inside, and she enjoyed it to the fullest while his heart melted with her bright smile.

A mini boat ride concluded the morning, and they settled down in the auditorium for a famous show. There appeared many characters on screen, and Avni focused entirely on the show.

Avni felt some weight on her shoulder and smiled as Siddharth dozed off, leaning onto her. The jet lag and a few arrangements kept him awake while she peacefully slept during the journey. She ruffled his hair, automatically adjusting her position for his comfort, and continued to watch the dance show.

"Huh?" Avni raised her brows with a soft smile playing on her lips as he partially opened his eyes. It gave her a stiff shoulder, but she barely cared.

"You could've woke me up," Siddharth sighed disappointedly, massaging her shoulder.

"What happened?" Siddharth questioned in confusion as she seemed lost in thoughts.

"You know what! Amma and Papa used to sit in the same position without moving an inch whenever I slept in their lap during journeys. I used to wonder how they could sit still for so long. I just realized it's possible if you care enough for someone," Avni answered, recalling her childhood.

The love and admiration he witnesses in her eyes every time she speaks of her parents is what he desires for himself. It's the purest form of love. While they might not be there yet, he hoped to be good enough to deserve that someday.

For a husband? Yeah! He might be doing a decent job. But to be above all, it takes so much more. He wished for life to bestow such a situation where he could bare his heart in front of her and show his love through his action. Isn't it said that 'Actions speak louder than Words!'

"I can walk," Avni nudged Siddharth, who lifted her in his arms as soon as the show ended. She could clearly feel people's gaze on her.

"But I wish to carry my wife."

Avni let go, and her hand went behind his neck as she made herself comfortable. "I can get used to this," She giggled.

Avni gasped upon reaching the destination! A snow world. Everything around was glistening and magical. The first time they went to such a place in a mall was nice, but this is magnificent. The place was huge and was entirely covered by snow.

"Take me to the tree," She demanded. "Two steps further," She giggled, instructing him and having fun irritating him to the core.

"Baby girl! This is too much. I will drop you off," Siddharth warned as she played with his patience.

"I know you won't," Avni laughed, and Siddharth agreed, realizing that's the truth anyway.

After Avni had fun skating, making snowballs, messing with his patience that seemed intact, and meeting Olaf, she finally lay down on the thick white layer of snow. Siddharth thoroughly enjoyed every moment she acted like a little girl and derived pleasure from the smallest actions.

No! She didn't want a star from the sky. A simple red rose would do.

She didn't need expensive jewelry. A cute teddy bear has a better chance.

She wouldn't like a luxurious palace. A simple penthouse that kept them close could melt her heart.

She wouldn't go behind branded clothes. She loves anything her parents pick for her with care.

It felt nice for a change. Every woman he encountered wanted to share what he had --His wealth, fame, and luxury. Only she wished for something that would amplify his happiness in return --His time, attention, and presence.ย

The day when his parents talked of marriage, he wondered if they could find a girl who truly cherished him and not the worldly things that lay ahead. He realized how lucky he was after spending time with her.ย

In the era where money is the basis of most relations, he was more than grateful to fate for blessing him with Avni, who only saw the real him and never cared a hoot about anything else.

"This pebble! It's so pretty," Avni exclaimed, finding a soft stone in the snow.

Avni never realizes that she's the wife of a billionaire who could lay the world at her feet and did everything like a simple woman. It's hilarious that she derived pleasure from the simplest of things while he could go ahead and purchase everything she laid eyes upon.

Siddharth was lost in thoughts when a snowball hit him all of a sudden. He chased her, making one, while she tried to escape.

Later in the evening, Siddharth drove her to a fancy restaurant. The place was small yet cozy with a beautiful ambiance. It felt homely and radiated peace. The dim golden yellow glow could entirely change anyone's mood.

Siddharth led her to a corner with a round table occupied by a few people. He pulled her aside before she took a step ahead.

Avni glanced at Siddharth, and he explained, "A few of my friends from college pestered me to introduce you." They couldn't attend his wedding due to unforeseen weather conditions and wanted to meet his wife.

Avni was starting to get awkward before he pulled her closer by her waist and kissed her hair, whispering in her ear, "You have me beside you, baby girl!" That calmed her to a great extent, but there was still some nervousness. She wasn't one of those people who quickly got along with strangers.

Siddharth guided her towards the table and pulled a chair for her. She could hear the surrounding people whispering an 'awe' before he pulled a chair for himself and sat down.

"Shut up, you guys!" Siddharth rolled his eyes as they suppressed their laughter.

Avni glanced at her husband, who sat comfortably, crossing his legs. For the first time, she witnessed a new side of him -A carefree, happy side of him, and she instantly felt the urge to know these people.

"Hey Avni," She heard the woman, the only one in the group, greet her, and she smiled awkwardly in response.

"Let's quickly do the introductions," She babbled with great enthusiasm and began, "I'm Caroline, and feel free to call me Caro. This grumpy silent guy sitting next to me is Brett, my boyfriend." and added, "unfortunately!" rolling her eyes.

Brett hit her head gently and shook his head in response. He quickly corrected Caro, "Hi, Avni! Don't believe my girl. She's only teasing me."ย

Avni smiled in response at Caroline's way of reversing things.

She continued while Avni felt no more like a stranger with Caroline's sweet way of putting her at ease.

"This brown-headed, carefree guy is Mike. The biggest harmless flirt. He has his way with women," Caro winked while Avni laughed.

"Hello, Gorgeous!" Mike extended his hand and Siddharth beat it with a sarcastic warning, "Don't even start, Mikey!"

"No Gorgeous. He's afraid that I might steal you," Mike winked.

"Waiter!" Caro called, not paying heed to the confused expression on a guy's face she hadn't introduced yet.

"And me?" The guy uttered, feigning shock.ย

"Here comes cute Noah! The one who's been eagerly waiting to receive your attention," Caro chuckled, teasing him.

Avni couldn't stop laughing throughout. Everything Caro said for fun initiated serious yet silly discussions, adding a burst of resonating laughter to the table.

"Mmm," Avni moaned in a low voice, taking a bite of the noodles. The food Siddharth had ordered for her was one of the best she ever tasted.

"Did you know what happened with Mike yesterday?" Brett began, and everyone intently listened while Mike pleaded not to disclose.

"He went out on a date with a high school sweetheart as he put it and farted when there was pin-drop silence around," He announced, making everyone laugh.

"You totally deserve it, bro!" Siddharth added laughing at Mike's expense.

"Let's not get into your details with your beautiful wife by your side," Noah teased.

It was a pleasant surprise for Avni to know that these guys laughed off discussing the most embarrassing things about each other.

"You never mentioned your amazing friends. They are totally cool," Avni whispered into Siddharth's ear, to which he smiled in response.

"Trust these people," Siddharth said, walking out of the restaurant with their hands entwined, and Avni had no further questions or doubts.
