*3 weeks later *
(Corpse's POV)

It has been 3 weeks since Sykkuno and I made it official. Lexi knows but she is keeping it a secret from her aunts.

I go to Lexi's room since it is 11am. This is unusual she is normally up by now. I walk into her room to see her curled up under her blankets still sleeping.

I walk up to her small body and place my hand lightly on her shoulder. "Hey babes..you need to wake up it's 11 in the morning." She groans at me and turns the other way.

"Come on we need to run some errands today."

"No" she growls out.

"Babe..don't talk to me like that."

"Too bad." She gets up and goes over to her closet.

"Need help?"

"No I don't want your help." She says rudely.

"I don't like this behavior Lex. Check it."

She sticks her tongue out and I go to the kitchen to make breakfast. I decide on making a fruit salad for all of us. A few minutes later Lexi walks out wearing a Batman hoodie, jean shorts and her vans.

She almost looks uncomfortable. "Honey is everything alright?" She just shrugs. I pick her up and place her on my hip. "What's going on in that little head of yours?"

She looks down and plays with her fingers like they are the most interesting thing in the world. "You can tell me anything."

"I..I don't know.." I sigh a little.

"Baby if there is anything bothering you, you can tell me." She just nods and lays her head on my shoulder.

"Do you not want to tell me?" I ask her.

"Stop asking me things!" She snaps at me.

I don't know what to do she's never acted like this. I decide to sit her in the corner because I have no idea what else to do.

"You do not talk to me like that young lady. Now sit here for 5 minutes in silence and think about how you've been acting this morning." She squirms a bit.

"No." She giggles and runs off. She's at the door when it opens. Sykkuno walks in.

"What's going on here?" He asks.

"Alexis is acting up."

"Why..she's normally so good.." He walks over to Alexis and picks her up. "Honey..are you feeling okay?" She just shrugs.

I sigh because I don't know what to do. This is all new. "Do you feel sick?" He asks her softly.

"My head hurts.." she mumbles. She normally has headaches after rough nights.

"Well you could have came to one of us and we would have given you medicine earlier." He tells her and kisses her cheek. I walk over to the medicine cabinet and get the chewable tables for her.

She takes one and I start serving breakfast. "Thanks corpse." I smile over at Sykkuno.

"No problem Syk. We are going to Target in a little bit. Want to come?"

"Yeah sure. Sounds fun. I need to get some things there anyway."

We all finish up breakfast and go to my car. I drive to Target and Lexi clings to my hip. "You need a few more t-shirts and pants, missy. I underestimated how many you would need."

"Okay." She says starting to act like her normal bubbly self again. I place her down and she holds my hand, mr.rabbit in her other hand.

I walk her over to where the girls clothes are and she pulls that face of discomfort again for a small second. I pick up a few things but she doesn't seem to like them so I put them back on the rack.

She drags me over to the boys section and looks up at me with puppy eyes. "Of course babe why didn't you say anything?" She just shrugs. Sykkuno is off doing who knows what.

Lex picks out some basketball shorts, a few more T-shirts, new socks because her other ones are worn out and some sweatpants. We also pick out some new beanies.

She's back to her smiley self. I go over to the electronics section and get a new charger for my phone and a new wireless mouse for my computer.

We meet up with Sykkuno again in the front and pay for everything. I pick up Lexi again. "Are you happy with your new clothes?" She nods and kisses my cheek.

"I love you." She whispers.

"I love you too." I tell her.
