Chapter 48 | To Escape

[Y/N]

Because of the lack of windows in my room and the lack of a clock, I had no idea how long I had been stuck in this hell hole. It could have been a few minutes or it could have been a few hours. But what I do know that is help is sure to come soon. That's the only thing keeping me sane in the empty room as I'm alert.

I don't know how long it had been since I'd last seen Chanseong or the Tiger Hybrid. Before I could worry about Chanseong or the Hybrid return, the alarm blared throughout the building. I couldn't help but smirk. They were here. It would only be a few more minutes until they found me.

But alas, the alarm was blaring and I was slowly getting a headache because of it. Waiting for minutes in the loud noise was causing my brain to pulse. Couldn't they have gotten a less annoying alarm for this rich-ass building?

Then the door opened.

Much to my dismay, the person who entered my little prison was the bane of my existence. I couldn't help but scowl at him. He just chuckled, making my anger explode. He should be thankful that I'm chained or else he would've been kicked in the balls so hard he would never have children in the future.

"Now, now, don't be so feisty," Chanseong smirked but then his smirk quickly fell and his eyes were dark with anger. He lunged at me and grabbed my neck so hard, I started seeing stars. "How did they know we're here?"

I grabbed his hands to put some space so that I could breathe. Stupid asshole probably doesn't understand that I can't talk if he's grabbing my neck like this.

"How?!" He demanded.

I couldn't answer as I could feel my consciousness slip away from the amount of pressure he had on my neck. He let go of my neck as he threw me onto the bed. The chain gave a loud clank as I started coughing uncontrollably to get as much air into my lungs as possible.

"I can't fucking answer you when you're choking me dipshit," I cursed at him, my voice hoarse from the lack of air.

Then he grabbed the collar of my shirt and pulled it so hard that I stumbled forward. His face was inches away from my own.  Then I felt something cold on my temple. I turned slightly to see that the motherfucker had a gun pointed at my head. Seriously, where is he getting a gun? This is South Korea, guns are illegal.

"I'm going to ask this once, how did they know we're here?" He snarled.

"Listen dipshit, I've been locked up here for god knows how long. How am I supposed to relay my location?" I said rolling my eyes, my throat still sore from his grip. It was probably going to bruise.

"Fine," Chanseong stood up straighter then took out a small key. He unlocked the chain on my ankle then roughly grabbed my arm. "We just need to get you to somewhere more isolated."

Fear and panic rushed into my body. I knew I didn't have my phone on me currently, so Eunwoo wouldn't be able to track my location. So I did the only thing I could do.

I fought back.

I kicked Chanseong as hard as I could, causing him to stumble. I quickly rose to my feet but the world spun as the blood rushed to my head. I shook my head, trying to keep my focus and rush out of the room and maybe even lock the Hybrid in my prison.

As I rushed toward the door, I felt something grab my ankle, successfully tripping me as I fell face-first into the ground. I groaned as I felt blood coming flowing from my nose that was most likely broken now as I couldn't feel it or smell or more importantly breathe through my nose.

I gulped down a breath as I tried to get up but I was flipped over so that my back was on the floor. Chanseong was sitting on top of me, straddling me. He had a dangerous look on his face with a smirk that made me shiver.

Warning: Allusion to Sexual Assault.

"This seems familiar, doesn't it?" Chanseong chuckled darkly as I could feel the panic rise in my body. "Don't worry, this time. I won't let you get away."

I started yelling, screaming, anything I could do get him off of me as I thrashed about. I didn't want history to repeat itself.

Chanseong growled as he tried his best to stop me from moving. "Stop!" He ordered. Tough luck because I wasn't going to stop. "Why don't you just submit!" He growled.

"I'll never give up," I spat.

He let out a growl as he used one hand to stop me from moving and the other hand was trying to rip off my clothes.

With panic, I started groping the ground around me as I continued to thrash about, hoping to find something that I can use to protect myself from the crazed Hybrid. That's when I felt the cold metal of the gun that Chanseong must have dropped when I kicked him. I gripped the gun tightly as I swung it with all my might on Chanseong's face.

I heard a sickening crack as his grip on me loosened. I pushed him off of me, still gripping onto the gun. When I stood, my head spun once again. I wiped my nose, trying my best to get my breathing to normal as I moved to the door.

"Oh no you don't," Chanseong growled as he lunged at me. I saw that there was a dark bruise starting to form on his swelling right eye.

He gripped the gun trying to pry it out of my hands. I tried my best to keep my hold on the gun as it was my only protection.

I didn't know who did it. It could have been me or it could have been Chanseong, but the gun went off and my eyes grew wide and there was a ringing in my ear.
