I put on the dress and reach behind for the zipper. I push it up but I can't zip it up all the way. For a few minutes I just pace the room trying to zip it up but in the end I have to give up.

I start walking towards the large chest of drawers that hold my cosmetics when William steps into the room, running a hand through his ruffled hair.

"How bad does my hair look?" He asks me.

"It looks good in a natural way. Why are you so worked up about it?" I ask pulling open the first drawer.

He walks over to the floor length mirror next to me and tries flattening down his hair. "I'm worked up because Molly just met me on the stairs and she said that my hair makes me look like a poodle."

I start to laugh and in a couple of seconds I'm bent over to stop my stomach from hurting. When I straighten up, I find William staring at me with amusement.

"What?" I ask, still laughing.

"You do think that I look like a poodle." He states.

I force the laughter into a broad smile and say. "No, I don't. I still think it looks good and cute too."

I kiss his cheek before going back to choosing my makeup. I hear him try again and after a few minutes he groans. "I guess I'll just go take a shower."

I set out my things on the long table in front of the mirror and open a pouch when I suddenly say. "William?"

He stops the bathroom's door and turns back to me. "What?"

"Umm...I couldn't reach it, so can you please zip me up?" I ask him.

"Sure." He says with even wasting a second.

I turn around as he comes to stand behind me and sweeps my hair over one shoulder. His hand touches my back making a cold sensation spread through my body. Before I know it, he's done and kisses my cheek before going back to take his shower.

I force myself to forget about what just happened and focus on the task at hand. Like always I go with minimum makeup and I'm done in five minutes. I decide to move onto ironing my hair. I plug in the ironing rod and run a brush through my hair.

I'm done with all of them except the ones at the back which I can't reach when I see him come out in the mirror. He's wearing a suit and holding two ties.

"Which one?" He asks. I realize that they're both the same shade of pink as my dress.

I point towards the one which is plain pink silk. "That one."

As I turn back to fixing my eyeliner he stands behind me and puts on his tie. Once I see that he's done, I ask. "Can you do me a favor?"

He gives one final tug and the tie settles into place. "What do you want me to do now? Help with your earrings?"

I smile. "No. I can do that. I was wondering if you could iron the hair at the back since I can't reach it." I point at the few strands of hair left.

"I can do that but I've never done it before in my life." He tells me.

"Seriously? Ashley seemed like..." He stops me. "Can we please not talk about the devil?"

I nod. "I'll be glad not to."

He picks up the ironing rod as I turn around.

"Take some in your hand and then run the rod over them. It's just like ironing clothes." I instruct.

"I've never done that either." He says.

I look at his reflection in disbelief. "Seriously?"

He shakes his head as he smiles and does as I hold him to. As he irons them, I twirl some of my hair around my finger. After a few minutes I happen to look at us in the mirror and a smile spreads across my lips.

I'm standing there twirling my hair and he's hunched over behind me. We almost look like a normal couple but then again we're royals.

"Done." He announces coming to stand next to me.

I run a brush through it to make sure that he did it alright. I'm surprised to see that he did a better job than me.

"Thanks." I say, giving him a hug.

"Anything for you." He replies hugging me back.

We make our way down to the banquet hall where the dinner is going to be held. I'm glad to see that everything is going just the way I planned it to. The seating arrangement is just as I wanted it to be and the waiters are moving around carrying cocktails that I chose.

The moment we enter the room William walks away to his colleagues and Anna hurries over to me.

"Is everything alright? I wanted it to be as close as to what you had in mind." She says.

I nod my head. "No, it's better than alright. It's perfect. It's just the way I wanted it to be. You pulled it off real well. Thank you." I tell her.

"No problem. I'm glad you like it your highness." She gives me a little curtesy making me smile.

"By the way your hair looks amazing. You ironed it so well." She says.

I smirk and lean closer to her. "I didn't, William did."

I straighten up to find her staring at me with her mouth hanging open. "What?!" I laugh as she pretends to faint. But then all of a sudden she becomes serious.

"Umm...Harrison...He...Kissed me." She stutters.

It's my turn to get shocked. "What?!"

She nods. "I was in here before everyone arrived going over the things and he came in and just kissed me before telling me that he loves me."

A smile breaks across my face. "Oh Anna. I'm so happy for you."

"I know. We're going to a movie after I'm done since he's already free." She tells me.

"Really? Why don't you go now?" I suggest.

"But what about all the work?" She asks.

"Don't worry. I'll take care of it." I say, pushing her towards the double oak doors. She waves back at me as she walks out of the room.

I look around the room, looking for someone I can talk to but I'm saved the hassle when Harriett walks over to me.

"Hey! You're looking incredible." She complements.

"Thanks." I reply.

"I noticed that you and William are matching." I just nod with a smile on my face.

She stares at someone behind me and I turn around to see who it is. Helen.

Harriett leans towards me and says. "Between you and me, I think that a woman like Helen and a status like hers should have hundreds of men trailing behind her. I wonder why she's still single."

Hearing her say this reminds me of what I thought the first time I saw Helen.

The woman in the uniform intorduces herself as Miss Helen. I'm surprised because she should be married by now.

"Excuse me, I should probably go talk to her in case there's anything important that popped up." I say moving away from Harriot.

I walk to Helen. "Hey! I thought you were going to skip the dinner."

"I was but I thought I might as well attend it. And you're looking gorgeous." She tells me.

"Thanks Helen." I reply, smiling.

"I saw Anna leave, do you know about that?" She asks.

I nod. "Yeah, I told her to go because she had to be somewhere."

I'm saved from spilling the secret when William arrives. "Hi Helen." Then he turns to me. "Can I talk to you for a second?"

I nod and walk away with him. "What is it?"

He steps out of the room and leads me to a corridor which is empty but the music and noise is still audible. He holds out a paper to me, which I take and unfold.

The document makes no sense to me, so I look at William for an explanation. "What is this?"

"It's the orphanages bank statement." He replies.

Now, the whole thing starts to make sense to me. I look at the amount mentioned which is currently in the account and it says $45 Million! I look up at William with my mouth hanging open to see that he has a huge smile on his face.

"William! This is amazing!" I scream as I throw my arms around his neck and give him a tight hug. He pulls away slightly and presses his lips to my forehead. I close my eyes and let myself absorb all the happiness in the air.

When we pull away, I ask. "Who gave so much money?"

"This is the amount that's been collected so far, more's still coming in. No one in particular donated. The donations came from all sorts of people. People from politicians to small businessmen in Uzbekistan. My point is that they understood the meaning of what I said." He says as he rubs his face which he does when he wants to calm himself down.

Seeing him so happy makes me smile too. I gently place a hand on his cheek and guide his lips to mine. Our lips barely touch when,

"There you are!"

We at once jump apart and stand a few feet away from each other. I look up to find Miranda standing a few feet away from us. Her eyes are on me which makes me self-conscious.

"What?" I ask folding my arms.

"Harriett was right. Your hair does look amazing." She comments but William beats me to replying. "Thank you. I'm really glad that you like it."

I stare at him for a moment and then we both start laughing. In a matter of seconds he's hunched over with his hands on his knees and I'm leaning against the wall behind me for support.

"Whatever." And with this the intruder walks away.
