๐Ÿ‘‘Amora's P.O.V

My chest tightened with fear as I marched down the cold corridor. The air carrying a heavy scent of dust and mold the only light source coming from the flickering lanterns that hung from the cold brick walls.

"Open the door." I ordered glaring at the tall man who stood before me his eyes widening in shock.

"Your Highness you are not supposed to be down here." He whispered as though he was afraid someone would hear him.

"I didn't ask you where I'm supposed to be I however gave you an order. You have five seconds to open the damn door!" I growled finding it hard to keep my anger under control. For some reason a part of me tried to convince myself that he wouldn't do it. The act being too cruel and inhuman to be done to anyone especially your own family members but then I was reminded that the man I fell in love with was nothing but a cold hearted beast who hid behind a beautiful face. Walking through the opened door my heart painfully hammered against my chest increasing its tempo to one of urgency and shock as my widened eyes landed on her ghostly pale face where a sad smile danced.

"You shouldn't be here." She scolded me standing from her sitting position to lean on the metal bars of her cell her dull blue eyes playfully glaring at me.

"Neither should you." I whispered pulling out a pair of shiny keys I stole from the pocket of the sun dress I wore.

"William's not going to be happy about this." She muttered stepping out of the opened cell enveloping me in a tight hug.

Choosing to ignore her comment which only added to my already high irritation toward the lying bastard I hastily walked over to the cell to the furthest side of the dimly lit rectangular concrete box finding a sleeping Sergio. Opening the cell I shock the sleeping man awake who looked as shock as the guard did to see me.

"What are you doing here!?!" He screeched flying out of the small bed glaring at me.

"I came to take you out of here." I answered simply shrugging my shoulders.

"You're not supposed to know we're here! Who told you?" He asked anxiously glaring at his youngest daughter who burst out laughing at the silent accusation.

"Yes papa I sent a silent message through twelve stories of concrete for her to come get me!" Rose grumbled sarcastically clasping her pale hands together for infuses.

"Maria told me." I answered simply walking ahead of the bickering two attempting to leave the room when I found the wooden door locked.

"Don't waste your energy a blind fool could see Maria wanted to trap you." Sergio quickly added his words causing me to stressfully knock my head against the wooden material in pure frustration.

"She's up to something with mama." Rose grumbled lazily walking back to her cell pulling out a recent magazine from under her pillow. "They are trying to stick Ria's new baby on Willy." Rose said casually causing my eyes to increase in size.

"Rosalie!" Sergio shot back glaring at his daughter.

"How the hell do you know this when you've been here for so long?" I asked joining her in her small cell.

"Mama came a few days ago saying that she found the perfect Queen for William. Seeing that he refused to sleep with Sara while you were gone her plan to get her pregnant flopped. That being the only way left for mama to trap William but then there's Ria." Rose said pausing with a far away look in her now shining eyes.

"Rosalie it's not your place to tell her about William's past you know how he feels about it." Sergio interjected.

"I'm only telling her what she needs to know papa. William would tell her the rest." Rose answered her father quickly earning her a quick nod before he left going back to his cell leaving us alone. "Everybody knew how William felt about Ria so mama decided that she'd settle for Ria to be his Queen. Ria being William's first love even though she broke him, he still loved her and so did Ria just not as much as he her of course. Their relationship didn't last as long as he'd hoped instead it ended in flames for the entire kingdom to witness." Rose concluded before turning back to her magazine where the picture that now hunted me was pasted onto the front page.

William's P.O.V

"I guess you win in the long run William congratulations on our new baby girl." My cousin slurred glaring at me where I sat unaffected by the chaos that surrounded me.

"I'm finally getting a granddaughter from my son that I could play with! I for one am happy with the news thank you so much my love." My mother said happy tears running down her reddened checks which only added to the silent anger that ran through my body.

"You're highness you requested my presence." A soft voice said nervously catching my full attention.

"Ah yes. I'd like you to run a paternity test on an unborn child for me." I said calmly before my mother's irritating voice pitched in.

"I am not going to stand by and allow you to put so much stress on my daughter in law and grandchild especially in her condition." My mother said hugging a visibly tensed Ria which only made the entire situation that much suspicious.

"I could care less what you think I wasn't asking it was an order. That child; if there's even a child. It defiantly is not mine because I never touched Ria. I don't know what game you're trying to play mother but I will assure you if this test comes back saying that she's not pregnant it'll coast you all your heads simply for wasting my damn time." I growled standing from my seat startled when my office door swung open slamming against the concrete wall.

"Your Highness there is a problem in the prison!" A heaving guard shouted a tired sigh leaving my dry lips.

"I want the results in the next hour." I ordered earning a quick nod from the doctor who stood with her back pressed against the wall.

"What the fuck were you even doing down here!?!" I roared finding it hard to keep calm when the door to my father and Rosalie's cell was opened and was met with the face of my wife.

"Don't you dare ask me anything. I owe you no explanation for my actions!" She shot back causing my right eye to twitch with incoming rage.

"Get the fuck out!" I growled turning away from my red faced wife to our spectators who pretended to be interested in the plane grey walls that surrounded us. Closing the door behind them I turned slowly trying desperately not to lose it.

"I'm only going to ask you once more Amora. Why are you down here?" I asked calmly.

"I said that I'm not going to explain anything to you William after all you told me that your father went away on business and Rose went to boarding school. So that's where I am right now. I went to boarding school and on a business trip and conveniently ended up in the prisons of your disgusting kingdom. Who would've thought." She bit back sarcastically earning herself a disapproving scowl.

"I am not playing around with you Amora you're going to answer me weather you like it or not." I warned stepping closer to her body. "What the fuck was that for!" I growled clutching my right cheek where her hand painfully collided with in a quick movement.

"For thinking that you could boss me around. You're a lier William and I'm sick and tired of living a lie." She said calmly snatching her hand from my grasp. "How sick are you to lock your own father and sister in this dump!?! Pretty sick that's what you are." She screamed quickly answering her own question her brown eyes glaring at me.

"They committed treason Amora. They knew where you were for six months and willingly looked on as I drove myself crazy searching for you and our child." I said simply knowing fully well that she wouldn't see that as a good excuse.

"I was the person who ran from your crazy ass not them! They did nothing wrong you can't convict people because they refused to play along with your selfish game William. If anybody needed to be punished for their actions it was me not them...I was the one who was selfish." She ranted poking her finger against my chest.

"How did you know they were here?" I asked my jaw tightening at the realization.

"That's besides the point. You always do this simply change the topic you never own up to your wrong doing William!" She said frustratedly walking into one of the cells.

"I know that I was wrong for putting them into prison Amora I allowed hurt and anger to affect my decisions but they broke a law and I as King have to stand by the laws of the land." I explained slowly moving so I stood in the door way of the opened cell.

"Clearly you don't stand by all the laws of the land." She bit back turning her attention to a magazine that laid on the bed which I'm guessing belonged to Rosalie.

"Name one law of the land I don't stand by Amora." I growled wanting to hear her reply even though I knew exactly what it was.

"Fornication. Adultery. I could go on but I'd stop at those two." She said plastering a sweet plastic smile on her delicate lips.

"If you're referring to that picture neither of the two laws were broken. I was a married man kissing my wife." I answered dryly glaring at the shocked expression that flashed across her face. I'd like to say it didn't bother me that she thought I would actually cheat on her at this point in our relationship but it did.

"How the hell did you end up with Sara then?" She asked causing a small smile to tug at my lips.

"After being with Ria for a little over a year she announced that she was pregnant and of course I was excited. Doing what I thought was right I went against my parent's wishes and ran away to get married to the daughter of the shoe maker. As far as I knew we loved each other and I refused to marry someone I didn't love simply because she was of "my class and color". I was going to be a father and nothing my parents or grandparents told me was going to change my mind against marrying the mother of my child and my first love. We got married on the first of January and later that night she told me that the child she was carrying wasn't mine." I said hoarsely averting my eyes to the white sheets that covered the small bed and not the brown skin woman who's face was plastered on the magazine.

"I was okay with it I guess. I was willing to be in the child's life even though I wasn't the father I'd already accepted him as mine. Then three months later my cousin returned home from the United States and she left me for him. The father of her child who later became her husband some months later when they welcomed a beautiful baby boy into the world. She even named him the name we picked out months before...Elliot. It was almost ironic but that picture was taken hours before she told me about the baby not being mine. Exactly three months before I'd be permanently marred." I said pointing towards the picture shrugging in hopes of getting the sickening feeling to leave.

"Sara was an escape goat I planned on marrying so my father would finally step down seeing that I needed to at least have the possibility of producing an heir to inherit the throne. I found nothing interesting in forming a relationship when all that was going to happen was me making a fool out of myself so I took the easiest way out. She loved what my power could bring her and I aimlessly stumbled through life not quite knowing what exactly I wanted. That's when I turned into that monster you often talk about but at least I thought my cold heart softened a bit the first time I heard your angel like voice and saw the purest innocence shine bright in your eyes." I said looking up at her where she stood with an unreadable expression on her face.

"I never thought that love at first sight was possible but that was until I saw you. I know I could be a asshole at times."

"Most of the time." She butted in smirking at the frown that found itself on my lips.

"Most of the time and I've hurt you but I've never hurt you intentionally. I'm a bit rusty with this whole caring thing and I'm sorry for lying to you about Rosalie and Father it won't happen again I promise." I said genuinely stuffing my hands into the pockets of my dress pants.

"You're forgetting one more part." She mumbled stepping closer to to me.

"What?" I asked confused.

"You forgot to say I love you dummy." She giggled before tiptoeing and molding her lips to mine.

"I love you dummy." I mumbled against her lips earning myself a smack on my chest.

"You are abusing me milady and that's a punishable offense." I whispered seductively lifting her body into my arms before smashing my lips onto hers once again.

"We are not doing this here put me down!" She grumbled when my hands slipped under her dress.

"You sure about that?" I asked nuzzling my face into her neck.

"I'm very sure William put me down and let's get out of here already." She whined winning the argument once again.

โœจ๐Ÿ’โœจ

"I'm going to check on Sophia and Rosalie." She announced attempting to climb out of my lap before I held her in place.

"Stay another minute." I murmured causing her stif body to relax in my arms once more.

"Your Highness I have the report on the paternity test." The doctor announced frowning when she looked up and saw Amora looking at her intently.

"The woman isn't carrying your child Your Highness." She announced causing me to glare at her from where I sat.

"Was she even pregnant?" I asked already knowing the answer to the question.

"N..nno Your highness she wasn't." She stuttered.

"That'll be all." I said calmly dismissing the stout red head before picking up my phone and dialing a number.

"Well aren't you brave advertising that you have women doing paternity tests in front of your wife." Amora hummed turning to look at me causing my movements to cease.

"I told you that when you weren't here my mother kept throwing people at me all of which I did not entertain. I guess she believed that Ria was an exception." I explained to my now smirking wife.

"I remember. I still think you're brave I could've forgotten about our conversation." She stated lazily her attention now focused on the gold stapler that sat on my desk her words earning her a low hum of agreement as I finished dialing the number.

"Kill them." I ordered sticking true to my word. I wasn't the type to play games and I wasn't going to wait to see what other tricks they had up their sleeves. I've always believed in tackling problems right at the beginning reducing the chances of possible disaster.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" Amora screeched knocking the phone out of my hand.

"I'm sexually frustrated that's the only thing that currently comes to mind." I answered flatly.

"You."

"Somethings have to happen baby no matter how cruel it may sound that was necessary and I'm sorry you had to hear that but if you expect me not to hide things from you you're going to have to try and see somethings from my side at times." I explained before pressing my lips to her temple.

"Something is definitely wrong with you William." She mumbled turning so she could look at me.

"And yet people still have no problem with testing me." I stated shrugging lightly before pressing a kiss to her cheek.

"Just give them a strict warning I'm sure they'll stop." She begged her brown eyes holding mine.

"Maybe." I sighed tiredly running my fingers through my hair.
