BLAIR POV

Ever since Wesley's dad came to visit, Wesley's been happier than I've ever seen him. It was like he's gotten part of his groove back. His smile has been brighter, he's laughed more, and just overall been happier.

The two went out a few times to get food and just hang out together. I really hoped Mr. Foster was serious about his apology and hope to get back to the way things used to be, because I don't want to think of how Wesley would feel if things didn't work out between them.

One night I was studying in my room alone while Wesley and his father went out to dinner when there was a knock at the door. "One second!" I called, setting my textbook down. I opened the door slowly and found two men standing there. I recognized Officer Willows and then next to him was a man dressed in a crisp grey suit.

"Hello.." I greeted slowly.

"Hi Blair." Officer Willows greeted, nodding his head. "Is Wesley Foster here?" He asked.

I shook my head, "No he's out right now. Is there something wrong? Or something I can help with?" I asked, starting to get concerned.

The other man just looked at Officer Willows. I was nervous, what was going on?

"No we're just looking for Wesley. Any idea when he'll be back?" Officer Willows asked.

"Well he went out to dinner about an hour ago so he should be somewhat soon." I answered with a shrug.

"Okay we'll come back. Thank you for your time." The other man said. I nodded and shut the door.

I debated whether or not to text Wesley. I didn't want to worry him and interrupt his time out with his dad, but I also felt her should get a heads up.

WESLEY POV

"Go! Go! Go!" We screamed at the television in sync. We were at a sports pub down the road from campus watching a hockey game together while eating dinner. Dad and I used to always watch hockey together, it was kind of our thing, and it felt good to be doing it again.

As I ate my burger, I felt my phone buzz in my pocket. I pulled my phone out and saw a message from Blair.

Blair: Hey just wanted to give you a heads up that Officer Willows and some other man came to the room earlier and were looking for you. Wouldn't give me any information, they were just looking for you.

"That's strange." I murmured to myself as I slipped my phone in pocket.

"What's strange?" Dad asked, looking over at me.

"Blair just texted me and said Officer Willows, the head of campus security, and some other guy came over to the room looking for me." I explained.

"Any idea why?" Dad asked.

I shrugged, "Maybe an after meeting after I got arrested." I answered.

"Should we head back then and see what's going on?" Dad asked. I was having fun with Dad and things were starting to feel good, but I needed to know what was going on.

I nodded, "Yeah we should go and see. You don't mind?" I checked.

Dad shook his head, "Yeah, no problem, we have plenty of time to go out again." He said with a smile.

We got back onto campus about 15 minutes later. I assured Dad that I was okay alone and we parted ways for the night. I walked along campus, lit up by lamp posts.

I headed towards the dorms when I ran into Officer Willows and the man in the suit. "Officer Willows," I greeted, nodding my head at the other man. "I heard that you were looking for me." I said.

Officer Willows scratched his head awkwardly and turned to the man in the suit. "Yeah. We're going to have to bring you down to administration." He informed me.

"Why?" I asked.

"The incident with Pete Brown. We need to talk more. He's leaving the school and we want to ensure that something like this doesn't become an occurance with you." The man in the suit explained.

"Okay." I responded, and started following them to the administration building, unsure of what was to come.

On the way I quickly texted Blair.

Wesley: Found Officer Willows and the other guy, they want to take me to administration to talk about the Pete incident. I'm not sure what's gonna happen.

Blair quickly texted back, Blair: Ok. I'll be down there in 10.

I was grateful for her support, something in my stomach didn't feel good about this.

WESLEY POV

"Have a seat. The dean will be with you in a moment." The secretary told me as I followed Officer Willows and Mr. Trent, the man in the suit.

I drummed my fingers nervously against the arm rest of my plush chair. The lobby of the dean's office was nice and modern looking. Glass walls and shiny gray-black floors. The only part you couldn't see into by glass was the actual dean's office, giving it a more intimidating look.

I was restless and unsure of what was happening.

"I'm meeting someone." I heard Blair's voice explain outside the lobby I was sitting in. A minute later she burst in, straight over to me.

"Sorry, I ran as soon as I got your text." She apologized, taking a seat next to me.

"No worries, nothing's happened yet." I said, pecking her on the lips quickly.

"Did they say anything yet about what's going on?" She asked.

I shook my head, "Just that they wanted to talk about the incident. " I answered. Sensing my nerves, she squeezed my arm reassuringly and sending me a brave smile.

"I bet everything's fine." She said confidently.

"I hope so." I mumbled. She squeezed my arm again, and then the dean's door swung in.

"Wesley Foster." He called. I gulped and slowly stood up.

"I'll be right out here." Blair promised. I gave her a grateful smile and then slowly followed the dean into his office.

"Have a seat." He offered, pointing at a chair that was positioned across his desk, chairs identical to the ones in the lobby.

"So you probably have a rough idea why you're here today." He started, looking for a confirmation.

I nodded slowly, and he continued, "Well Pete Brown is dropping out of Vanatta University. Have you heard about his injuries from the incident?" He asked. I didn't have a chance to respond because he continued, "Well he suffered a fractured nose and deep cuts and bruises. This isn't the first time Pete has been involved in a physical altercation, and we are somewhat concerned here. He did not report who the first altercation was with, but we have reason to believe it was with you." Dean Yonder said.

My heart was beating hard, I did not like where this talk was going. "Do you have anything to say about that altercation?" Dean asked.

I nodded slowly, "It was me." I admitted.

Dean nodded, "I see. What conflicts led to these altercations?" He asked.

"The first one was because he cornered my roommate Blair Fairbanks in the shower, forced himself on her and was harassing her. Then after I told him to leave her alone, he harassed her again and threatened more violence on her. I then lost my temper and that was out second altercation." I explained.

The dean nodded, jotting down some notes. "And did Blair report these incidents?" He asked.

I shook my head. "I was defending her. He attacked and harassed her. I did what I needed to do." I said frantically.

He looked at me and narrowed his eyes. "Violence is not the answer, it never is. We now seem to see you being involved in two violent incidents here on campus. At Vanatta University, we are against violence, and it appears you have a problem refraining from using it." He lectured sternly.

I scratched my head nervously. "What's going to happen?" I asked quietly.

"Well, the school board and I are going to investigate and discuss, but we could be talking about expulsion." He said gravelly.

"Expulsion?!"
