BLAIR POV

Joey and I stayed in the dining hall for over two hours just talking. He was from Salem, Oregon and was accepted on a football scholarship, and was majoring in Broadcast Journalism hoping to be a sports journalist eventually.

As we talked I couldn't help but slip a yawn out. I looked at the clock overhead and noticed it was 10:40 p.m. He noticed my yawn and I felt awkward because I didn't want him to think that I was bored of him. "Sorry, I'm kind of an early riser, early bed kind of girl." I mumbled sheepishly.

Joey smiled, "It's okay, it was a cute yawn." He said and I felt a blush creep up my cheeks. "But you're right it is getting late and I have a Biology test tomorrow, but maybe we could do this again? Maybe tomorrow night?" He asked hopefully.

I nodded my head eagerly, "That sounds great." I replied, tucking a piece of hair behind my ear.

We parted for the night and I headed straight for bed.

The room was empty when I got back and I figured Wesley would just be out for the night. I didn't really care though, I just wanted to go to sleep.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The next morning I woke up refreshed and ready for my day. I picked my phone up and saw that I had received a text from Joey. 'Joey: Good morning! :) Does dinner tonight at 7 sound good? I'll pick you up at your dorm.' I smiled and quickly typed back, 'Blair: Sounds great! See you then! :)'.
I looked over and saw that Wesley's bed was empty and untouched. I shrugged and quickly got changed into workout clothes so I could go for a run before my two classes of the day.
It was a beautiful day out and I felt really good about my date tonight.
The whole day went by quickly and I soon found myself back in my dorm trying to pick out an outfit for my date.
I still hadn't seen Wesley today but I wasn't too concerned, knowing him he was probably out with some girl, his new fling of the week.
I pulled out a couple of options and was mulling about what to wear when the door opened and Wesley walked through.
"Hey Roomie," He greeted casually as he plopped down on his bed.
"Hi," I replied distractedly, inspecting my clothes.
"Did your dresser explode or something? Why are there clothes all over your bed?" He teased.
I rolled my eyes playfully, "No, I'm trying to decide what to wear tonight." I replied.
Wesley sat up, kicking his shoes off. "What's tonight?" Wesley asked.
"I have a date." I replied.
"With who?"
"None of your business." I told him sassily.
I picked up a light colored floral skirt with pink roses and decided that this was it. I then pulled out a plain white shirt, a chunky white belt, and a mini denim embroidered jacket. I quickly headed to the bathrooms and got changed before heading back to the room to do my hair and makeup
I left my brunette hair in loose waves and went with simple makeup.
It was just 7 o'clock when there was a gentle knock on the door. Wesley looked as though he was going to get up but I shot him a look that said 'Don't even think about it'.
I opened the door and saw Joey standing there in a denim button down shirt with the sleeves rolled and khakis.
He was holding a bouquet of daisies and was smiling. "Hello," I greeted shyly.
 "Hello, you look gorgeous." He blurted and blushed. "These-these are for you." He stuttered handing me the bouquet.
 "Thank you, that was so sweet." I replied, taking the beautiful flowers. "Shall we?" I asked and he nodded.
I closed the door behind me, but not without first seeing the frown on Wesley's face.
