The girl created a strong steam barrier so that Drew could not get in with his earrings. Drew tried to go deep underwater to find a way to get in and attack from below, but it was not possible since when he calculated the amount of time he could breathe underwater, there was no use getting more and more deeper into the water to get inside the shield of the girl. Her shield even had the woman inside.

"I summon the great galaxy fidget spinner," the girl said and a huge whirlpool was created near her. It started spinning and shooting stars fast. The stars landed on the water and it grew into a tree. The trees produced fruits in the shape of planets. The trees showed the reflection of the sky and water in the shape of stars started dripping from the leaves though there was no rain in the sky. The stars, once they touched the water, became starfish or starflowers. The starfish was enclosed within bubbles and they went to the sky to sit on top of the clouds which went in all directions like a white bird. The whole scenario made Drew feel like an amusement park was more interesting to the girl than him.

Drew felt like giving multiple lightning strikes below the water to reach the girl, though it was impossible. He went near the girl, outside the barrier, to see the best possibility of attacking her until she ate her words that he was boring. He knew that by this time, the girl's memories must have piled up to her old age.

"Let me see what new things the planets have to offer me," the girl touched on one of the planet fruits and kept on clicking it on different positions and examing it like it was a Google map. She started jumping when she saw something on the fruit, hidden from Drew's view and slapped her hands on both the cheeks and screamed, "so cute! Let me summon the moonlight butterflies that glow in the moonlight."

The girl summoned the butterflies which came out of the fruit. After all the butterflies came out, the planet dried and went down to the water and another planet in the same shape replaced it on the tree the girl summoned the butterflies. The butterflies glowed in dazzling colors when only the moonlight touched their bodies. At other times, it was invisible.

The old woman then started singing Twinkle Twinkle little star. After some lines, Drew could see that the stars were lighting up in the sky in the shape of a smile.

Is this a severe case of second childhood?

Seeing the old woman using her powers, Drew wondered if this was what it meant to be the most powerful. Outliving others, not having a care in the world for others since their memories had disappeared from the memory, and still have a young body.

Drew stopped his thoughts and decided to focus back on how to win against the old woman. He went inside water and poured water in his mouth without swallowing it. He went up to the sky by floating in the cloud he created since the battle arena had a lot of water, he could create clouds as much as he wanted.

He did not want to loose more as he was frustrated from all the recent losses. He could see that the only possible way to survive was to use his newest attack which may have been given to him by the ring.

He had been experimenting with it ever since he used it in the class by using devices to measure electricity and its effect in every possible way. It was his weakest yet strongest attack. As long as he was in touch with water, he could activate the attack. Since the girl had been playing with water it should work. He could hide his body in the clouds so that there was less chance he would get burnt and drink the water in his mouth and fall down as just electricity since there is water vapor, and finally when he can connect to the water near the girl, he would aim for the eyes so that she finds it difficult to track hos body.

As the continuous sound of a bell rang, the girl shouted, "Oh no, I forgot. Hey! Wherever you are! By any chance, if you survive, remember that it was because I procrastinated and nothing more. Don't think you defeated me if you manage to win against me. Remember that."

Drew completely lost himself. He did not know what was worse, the fact that he could not defeat her, or she thought that he was stupid enough to not understand the facts.

I understand every word you say, bubbly granny. You can rest in peace.

After the barrier opened, Drew drank the water, and he jumped through moisture with more control as he had practiced, to reach the old woman in the girl's body. When he got to the water surface, he unleashed his complete strength, but yet, the old woman was stronger. Drew tried to hang in the battle even after the sound of the bells stopped. After a few seconds, he could see his body going down from the clouds and the cloud disappeared through the water that acted like reflecting eyes.

Drew opened his eyes. He was lying on the water. He got up and in front of him, he could see the woman and the old woman with her memories had vanished.

"You won, congratulations," the woman said.

Yeah, right! But I have no choice, do I?

"So tell me all that I have to know," Drew demanded.

"The ring was created to create change in each timeline to see the impact of a small change in each timeline. Ethan has not found my younger version yet, so I can't explain anything to him yet, but as for you, there are other enchanters here, so if you find what is needed to get back to your timeline, you will survive there, or else, you will die here without a trace of your existence," the woman said.

"So what are you here for?" Drew asked as she was not helping at all.

"I am just a cursed one who is in charge of testing the people who I am supposed to challenge. If my opponent loses, I get to have one percent of their powers and they die, else, I get to rest like the rest of my people, who can rest for eternity unlike me," the woman said with grief in her eyes.

The water surfaces started cooling and frost started to form everywhere in the place which had nothing but water and land.

"Suppose you want to choose a road, but can't because a chain is pulling you in the other road, what would you do Drew?" the woman asked with curiosity.

"Nothing. Because I already know the destination which is fire or ice, and either of those has the same feel. At first, I had regrets while choosing the roads thinking about the other because all the roads I saw were almost equal, but later when I started meeting people I had left in the previous roads again, I understood the final destination is the same. I wish there had been a GPS in my time to have quickly realized this fact, then it would have been less tiring. I used to spend time wondering in the past why no one would construct a road though most times I could see stones being thrown," Drew replied. "It was a complete waste of time thinking about these roads."

The woman laughed," you aren't as boring as my other self thought."

Drew smiled. The mist thickened and Drew heard the woman say goodbye.

He was back in the wheelchair again and saw petals flowing, and when he looked at the water, the petals were dancing in magnificent colors, singing the song of farewell with the images of the happy woman reflecting on the water.
