It has been three days since the incident and Madison was on leave from her work. Ryan on the other hand was working from his home office.
Ivory and James we're back with kids at the house, Ivory didn't intended to leave Madison alone. Also Madison's brother visited her yesterday, though no one knew what exactly happened, all they knew and what Madison told everyone was that Diana was obssessd with Ryan and hence the attack happened, she asked Ryan to shut his mouth on him cheating on her.

More than cheating it was disrespecting our relationship. Was her only thought, for some odd reason she wasn't even considering it as cheating.

"Madison?"
"Madison?"
"Maddy!!'

"Huh?" She looked to see Ivory who was calling her for past ten twenty seconds.
"Can you help me with Steve?"
She looked at Steve who was yelling at James for not bringing his favourite cupcake.
Past three days all the happiness was brought to her from Steve and Lucy, she was spending as much time as she could with them, they always had something to talk about and play.

"What happened young man?"
Steve looked at Madison with a pout on his face and arms folded across his chest, his nostrils had those invisible flames coming out. Madison suppressed her smile by bitting her lips, and sat in front of Steve

"I want cupcakes"
"Umm..." Madison made a face as if she was thinking something and then with a huge smile she turn to look at Steve
"What if we make cake at home?"
Contemplating what to say Steve at the end , end up eagerly nodding his head for cakes.
Holding his small fingers she took him towards kitchen .

She took aprons and put one on Steve, who on seeing this held his head and chest up with pride, and then another on her

"Okay.. so Chef Steve... Where to start from?"
"I don't know you tell"
"Umm..... Okay... Let's start with batter and chocolate syrup, so Steve I want you to break these chocolate cubes and put them in that bowl... AND don't you dare eat them" she said with a bright smile on her face.
Steve giggled at her warning and nodded before he started his work.

Meanwhile Madison started preparing the batter.

She looked at Steve and saw that his mouth had chocolate coated all over him, as he got caught eating a cube, putting her hands on her waist, she pretended to look angry , when Steve look at her and nervously bit his tongue, instead of saying something he he put his hands forward , giving her leftover to eat, with his charming smile asking for forgiveness, made her heart melt as she laughed out at him and soon he joined
"Come here my cutie pie"
She pulled him in her arms as he giggled more.

Unaware of Ryan's presence who was standing near fridge with a bottle in his hand.
He had a smile on his face, he felt jealous, jealous that a kid was more deserving to have a laugh with her than him, jealous that she was talking to every one except him, jealous that she was giving him silent treatment, yet his heart was warm today because his ears were ringing with her beautiful laugh.

Silently he went out of the kitchen and headed towards his study when Ivory stopped him
"Ryan, can we talk?"
"Yeah..."

"Look I know I should not interfere in your personal life, but it's so evident that Madison is avoiding you... It's not your mistake that Diana is after you"

Ryan's expression changed at the name of that bitch.... If she knew the truth Ivory would have beat shit out of Ryan by now and he would be at some hospital at the mercy of god knows who.....

He closed his eyes and opened them trying to relax

"Look Ivory... I don't know how to put this but... Madison takes time, she doesn't react immediately, it's not in her okay.... and I am giving her that time.... She needs to clear her head"

Ivory shrugged her shoulders as she took of towards her room not before telling Ryan that they would be leaving two days later as James had something important at work.

Ryan was sitting on his study , lost in his thoughts... When he heard a knock, straighten himself up he asked the person to enter

It was Keith his assistant
"Sir, Mr.Hashting wants to have the meeting as soon as possible , he his. Asking for it by tomorrow"
"Oh..god... Somebody please kill me ughhh..."
Banging his head on table he rested his head for sometimes there as he continued
"Fine!!! Give me the files and you come along the team here today to discuss everything , I am sorry I am doing this but it's important"
"Sure sir"

Madison and Steve finally made the cake they desire , removing the aprons, Madison took Steve to Ivory's room
"Hey.. I guess he needs a bath" she said sheepishly as a grin formed over Steve's face.
"You too"
Ivory replied with a bright smile on her face as she looked at Madison who had somehow managed to decorate her hair with a little flour, her face had flour and chocolate all thanks to that cute chocolate syrup fight with Steve.

Agreeing with Ivory, Madison excused herself and went to her room for a bath, the chocolate stick on her face was now irritating her as she enter her room, without thinking twice she entered washroom without locking it as she thought
I can change at closet , I really need to get rid of these chocolates man...

Ryan looked at clock it was six in the evening, two hours before his employees invade his house for work, he thought to inform Madison about it, at least he got a reason to interact to her.. he thought.

He met Ivory in living room
"What are you searching for?" She asked as she saw him looking at kitchen
"Huh? Oh... I am looking for Madison but before that I really need to pee.. do you know where she is?"

"Yeah.. she went for bath"
And then an idea strikes in her mind as she saw Ryan cursing as he badly needed to pee, before he decided to end up in some guest room washroom she said
"Oh don't worry , she is using my washroom... She is helping Steve first, yours is free"
He is so going to be irritated finding the door locked...
Ivory internally laughed at his misery.

He ran towards his room opening the washroom door he hurriedly closed it and started doing his business when he heard a voice
From behind the bath tub curtains and his eyes went wide

"Ryan?"
"Madison!! MADISON... Oh fuck MADISON... Shit... Just don't come outside I am sorry ... Fuck... Shit"

"I am sorry , I didn't knew you was inside... Shit I am sorry, just be inside I will leave in a second.. shit"
