Flashback

Sophia was in a bar, sitting at the counter taking a sip of her drink she eyed around the crowd of the people to select her victim for tonight. Her eyes landed on a dark haired man on the dance floor. She put her drink at the counter making her way to the dark haired man.
"You got a way with your hips" She complement him. He checked her up and down, smiling at her comment.
"Why don't you try out" he replied, taking his hand out offer her. Sophia slide her hands in him, locking their finger, they starts to dance together.
"You're like you own the dance floor" She told him
"Because I am" he replied swinging her around just to pull her back.
"You're the owner?" She asked him
"Not me, my dad" He answered
"Isn't the same thing" She chuckled.
While dancing they move closer. Their body heats became unbearable as the saccubus leaned in to initiate the kiss. Sophia pulled him closer by placing hand on his neck slightly squeezing it. He winced as the saccubus stopped.
"I had an accident yesterday... but it's alright" he groans as he kissed her back getting lost in the hunger feeling of lust in their tounge. He pulled apart looking at her eyes.
"I was watching you the whole time when I came at the evening, I just didn't know how to approach you" he said. Sophia heard him, which only increase her hunger more.
"It's a good thing here I am" She replied kissing him again.
"Do you want to... continue this somewhere else?" He asked hesitantly.
Sophia nodded at him.
They made their way out of the club when another man approached them.
"Mavrik, so good to see you bro" the man said hugging him.
"Jay, hey man, what are you doing here?" He asked once he break the hug
"Just came to enjoy myself..." he replied while he looked at Sophia, his denomour changed suddenly as he eyed the saccubus.
"But I can see you have a company" he told her. Before Mavrik could replied anything else he added "I'll let you leave, see you soon" he said moving past him.
After Jay left them Mavrik turns to Sophia again
"Are you sure you want to... go to my place?" He asked her again
"I would really like you show me what's you got in there" she said seductively. Mavrik chuckled at her. As they leave the club in his car.

His apartment wasn't far from the club, it was a 10 minutes ride to his fancy apartment. He unlocked the door let her in and led her to his bedroom. He was quite nervous for a one night stand with an unknown girl he just met an hours ago. Sophia on the other hand was getting frustrated as she wanted to get it done as soon as possible. Sophia sat on the edge of the bed while he removed his jacket putting it on a chair. He grab a bottle of alcohol from a cabinet near the closet. He grab two bottles, pouring the liquid in it and handed one to Sophia. He looked at her admiring every features of her body
"Is it weird that I'm suddenly feeling very attracted to you" he asked her while Sophia places the glass on the table. She moved closer to him taking his glass from his hand.
"I have that effect on people" She smiled wickedly.
"It just don't feel..." he paused for a second "good"

"Don't worry, I'll make you feel good" She smirked as she placed the glass on the table and unbuttoned his shirt. He smiled at her actions and let her do what she was doing to him. He was confused yet he wanted to spent his night with her. Unknown to the fact that the saccubus held him under her charms.

She kissed him hungrily wanted while removing his belt and unzipping his pants. He responded to the kiss with the same intensity as he removed her top revealing the saccubus in her black strapless bra. His eyes darkened with lust while Sophia continued kissing him from his lips to his neck, sucking the skin beneath her. The heat radiates within them making it hard for the saccubus to hold her back from sucking the life out of him. He was lost in the perfect body of the saccubus while she removed his pants with his boxers freeing the erection. Her eyes flashed green and she removed the rest of the clothing she wore. She started riding him while felt the bliss of pleasure. Moans and groans filled the room while the saccubus was getting high on each passing second. When she reached to her climax she knew it was the moment she would lose control and without her realising she started consumed the life energy from Mavrik. He squirmed under her trying move from the bed and away from her as his survival instincts kick in.
"Wh-aat... are...you...do..." He managed to asked her before he felt he couldn't form any words. The words took out from his mouth as his heart slowed it's rhythm. The last thing he kept repeated in his mind that it wasn't the end... it can't be...

The next day Sophia was walking around the streets. The repetitive events of this morning was occurring in her mind.

She knock at the door early in the morning while her raven haired girlfriend opened the door to let her in. Sophia was shaking as the image of Mavrik died in his room was haunted her thoughts. She sat on a chair in the living room and drink a glass of water.
"So..." Her girlfriend started but she cut her off
"I killed him Lauren, I..." She chocked on her water "He wasn't like any other guy but I couldn't control myself" She states. Her voice broke as tears fall from her eyes. Lauren just watch her
"It's okay Sophie..." Lauren hugged Sophia making soothing circles on her back.
"We need to find out what happened to you before you wake up" She said. While Sophia just freeze at the mention of it slightly afraid as she asked her
"Are you going to do it again?" She asked Lauren, her eyes stayed down looking at her hands.
"You have to try harder... it's the only way my love" Lauren said while Sophia just nods. She took the glass from her hand placing it on the table. She hold out her hand for the saccubus and she hesitantly took her. Lauren sat her on a chair and moved behind her holding her hand both sides of her head.
"Are you ready?" She asked her and she hummed in response.
Lauren started to chants an incantation while Sophia felt the aching in her hand increased. She started to screamed as it was becoming too much for her.
"Stop... stop.. please..." She cried out to her
"Hold on my love... just few more minutes" Lauren denied her request as she continued her torture on her.
A wave of energy radiates from the saccubus as Lauren threw back, her back hitting the wall while the saccubus fell unconscious.

She had a fight with her girlfriend because she was forcing Sophia to try to remember her past memories which seemed to erased from the existence. She was trying very hard to remind herself who she was, what were her life before she put under a sleeping spell for centuries. She was mad at her girlfriend who wasn't trying to understand her delusion as well. One thing she learned from her heretic girlfriend is that life always find a way to screw you up and it was life's way to punishing Sophia for the monster she became in past months...

Josie woke up with a bad ache in her head. She found herself tied up to a chair while her hands were in shackles. She groans as she felt the ache in her head, still dizzy as she remind what happened to her earlier. She looked around and found her father tied up to a chair as well. His head was injured but the bleeding were stopped. She released a breath of relief when she saw her father still alive.
She tried to move from her position but the restrain in her hand made it very difficult for her to do so.
"Dad... dad wake up" She tried wake her father but he didn't response. She looked around, she was in a store room but she didn't recognise the house. She remembered before she passed out someone called out to her, it was a woman. Alaric stir awake while he heard his daughter's voice.
"Josie..." he groans as he felt the pain in his head.
"Dad... are you okay? Who did this to you?" She asked with worries.
"Whoever she is she was asking for Sophia" he tells her while again groaning in pain.
She was lost in her thoughts when the door opened to the room. She turned her left to look at their capture.
"Who are you?" She asked the raven haired witch with the brown eyes and her mouth soaked in blood.
"Wrong question darling. You should ask what I want from you?" She said smirking at her while she wipe out her mouth with her fingers and sucking it.
"Leave my daughter out of this" Alaric hissed at her
"Relax old man, you have something that belongs to me" She said to them
"We don't know what are you talking about?" She replied and tried to use her magic but it didn't work.
"Those are magic resistance shackles, your magic won't work and it's not like you had it in you" She took a step closer to the brunette "Take a guess after all we belong to the same coven" She tell her. That's when Josie recognised her. It was the same girl Sophia told her about.

"Lauren..."
"I'm guessing Sophia must have told you about me... you two seem close" She tells her in an annoyed tone.
"Why do you keep us in here?" Josie asked her.
"That's the point Jossete, whenever my people tried to capture Sophia you become an guardian angel and always saved her. It's time for payback" Josie remember the vampire told them the heretic's name before he died. Lauren was hunting Sophia and now she is going to get her.
"You must have heard about the hunter Alaric Saltzman, let my daughter go" He yelled at the heretic.
"Mr. Saltzman... aren't you forgetting someone?" She replied while her lips form in a wicked smile.
Josie looked around the room again and realised Landon wasn't there.
"What did you do to Landon?" She asked little afraid to hear the answer.
"He was my snack" She chuckled at the brunette's reaction, while Alaric hissed at her, trying to break free. She went close to the brunette's chair holding both sides looking at the brown orbs
"Just hope that the tribrid would bring what's mine" She said in husky voice. Just then she heard the movements at the entrance door.
"Time's over" She smirked moving out the room.
"We just need to find a way to remove this shackles until the help comes" he assured her daughter. Josie knew Hope would help them. After all she was the 'hero' of the school.

Hope took Sophia with her when she reached to a cabin across the border. She is a tribrid but what she is about to face is a witch/vampire. She heard about the heretics that are ruthless vampires, their list for blood and the amount of power the could possess. Taking her down would be an hard task. She has Josie and Hope would do anything to get her mate back.

The door was locked, she was so pissed to knock, she kicked the door and it fall back inward as she entered the house. She could sense Josie but she wasn't in sight. Sophia was still unconscious and Hope used her magic to get a hold on her, her floating body was behind her. In a brief second the heretic was in front of her.
"I see you're the woman of your word huh..." Lauren said moving forward to reach Sophia while Hope stand her way
"I need my friends first, Dr. Saltzman, Landon and Josie" She said with a gritted teeth. She was hating that she had to negotiate with the heretic.
"I just need a moment" Lauren while she move past her getting close to the saccubus. She moves her through her hair and caressing her face
"It's been a while when I seen this beautiful face" She replied looking at the saccubus. Her face held uncertain emotions as she stares more at the saccubus. Hope was getting impatience she pushed the heretic to the near wall
"Where are my friends?" She growled at her. Lauren hit the tribrid back and she fall on the ground. Hope stand immediately her eyes flashed yellow
"If you dare to hurt any of them..." She growled while a fire ball formed in her hand but Lauren hit her before Hope would attack her.

Sophia was getting conscious as she noticed the smoke filling up the room. She looked at the fight between the tribrid and the heretic. The images of her relationship with Lauren flashed through her mind. She started to shake.
"Lauren..." She whispered but it was enough for the two supernatural being with super hearings to heard her. Lauren stopped as she turns towards the saccubus. Then Sophia looked at Hope who was ready to attack the heretic
"You traded me?" She asked the tribrid with disbelief in her voice
"She has Josie" The tribrid replied. At the mention of her mate she remembered Sophia kidnapped Landon too.
"Where is Landon?" She asked worried. Lauren looked at her skeptically before she could replied she felt as the wooden stake piercing through her chest but not her heart. She turn around to saw the phoenix boy standing there with a stake dragging through the heretic's back.
"I thought I killed you" she growled at Landon.
"Being a phoenix has it's perk right" he answered. Lauren fall on the ground. Sophia came forward hugging the phoenix boy as she holds him close. Landon feels little awkward but he huggs her back.

"Where is Josie and Dr. Saltzman?" Hope asked them as Landon breaks the hug.
"They are upstairs, we need to hurry Dr. Saltzman has lost lot of blood" Landon replied as they upstairs.

The scent of her mate hit her nose as she opened the door. Josie was struggling to get free from her restrain as she felt someone touching her hand opening the shackles. She felt the spark from the touch as all her worries washed away. She knew Hope would save them as she always saved the day. Hope came in front of her untying the rope from her body.

"Are you okay? Are you hurt? She didn't hurt you is she?" She asked Josie and the brunette can see the worry and concern in her eyes.
"Mmhh..." She hummed at her. When Hope release her from her restrain she stand up from the chair only to tackled in a hug by the tribrid. The warmth of her surrounded her as she inhaled the fresh lavender smell of the tribrid. She couldn't deny that being near and in her mate's arm made her feel safe that nothing would ever harm her. Hope would always save her no matter what. But then the fact that it would only end up for a short term she pulled away from the hug. While Landon was releasing her father from his restrain.
Hope turns to look at him as the old man was injured.
"Do you need my blood to heal?" Hope asked the old headmaster
"I can still take a hit and survive" he groans. They all come downstairs where the heretic's body was still laying on floor, dead. Temporarily.
"What are we gonna do to her?" Sophia asked
"I have an idea" Josie said looking at her while she remembered the magic resistance shackles.

Coming back to the school, it was almost midnight, Lizzie was pacing around the entrance when she looked at the familiar car stopped in front of the school. Lizzie immediately hugged her twin as she stepped out from the car
"MG told us that heretic bitch took you, I'm glad you're both okay" She said looking at her father who has a bandage on his head. Landon just scoffs at her while he moved past them going straight to his room.
"You're staying the night right?" Josie asked her father as he nods at her.
MG came to them "I would have been there but someone knocked me out" he said referring to Hope.
"My head really hurts. I need my meds" Josie said as they all entered in the school campus leaving Hope and Sophia behind them.

Hope open the car trunk revealing the unconscious heretic back there, Sophia walked near to her as she glanced at Lauren.
"Are you going to kill her too?" She asked the tribrid.
"She is hunting you for months... and I'm sure as hell that you demands some answers too" she replied while she carry her to the basement, locking her with that same magic resistance shackles so she couldn't use her magic.

Sophia was watching Hope locking the heretic at the cellar, while the past memories of Lauren obligate her thoughts. She put her trust in her and Lauren betrayed her.
"Are you gonna stare at her whole night?" Hope asked the saccubus.
"Nope I'm just leaving" She replied while she turned to move out
"I shouldn't have traded you but I had no choice to keep Josie out of danger" Hope said. Sophia seemed to understand, she knew Hope cared about the brunette, it was the bond that connects them.
"I know you care about her so do I" The saccubus replied.
"What's your deal with Landon? You have a sudden interest in him" she asked the saccubus. Sophia thought for a moment thinking if she should tell her or not, she hasn't told Josie about that yet.
"He's my mate and I really like him" She confessed while Hope had an awe expression on her face. Her face softened at the mention of the mate bond between her ex boyfriend and the saccubus.
Speaking of mate
"Josie hates me" She said looking at the heretic behind the cells.
"She doesn't. She just thought that you would leave her again" Sophia replied. She knew Josie would deny that she didn't like the tribrid anymore but it was their bond which always brought them together. Their bond was different, the emotions, the pain, the heartbreak, it was all too much for them. Sophia saw Josie going through all that for past 10 months.
"I would do anything to made her believe that I want her in my life " An idea pops up in the saccubus mind as she smiled slightly at the thought of it.
"Let's make a deal Hope, help me win my mate and I will help you get your mate back" Sophia said turning to look at the tribrid holding out her hand for Hope.
Hope chuckled at her "To win our mate" She said taking her hand, shaking it.
"You should got to your room, I need rest too" Hope said turning to leave, while Sophia's voice stopped her.
"There is something else you should know about your bond Hope" Hope stopped turning at her.
