The whole ride to the school was quite awkward. The twins and the saccubus sat at the back side of the car while the tribrid kept staring at the brunette through the front mirror as she sat beside Alaric on the passenger seat. Sometimes their eyes locked but the brunette immediately turned away pretending that the longing stares doesn't affect her but it did. Sophia laid her head on Josie's shoulder and Hope had to pretend that it wasn't bothering her.
The whole 20 minutes went away like this. They didn't talk much. Josie did mention the threat on her friend to her farher and now they also targeted the brunette as she always rescued her friend. When they reached at the school ground the twins went back to their room, so did Sophia.
Hope and Alaric took the vampire in their car trunk to the warewolf cellar. Hope put the barrier spell around the cell.
"This should hold him till he wake up" The tribrid mentioned. Alaric looked deep in thought.
He sighed "I thought Josie being away from the school would keep her out of trouble but it seems like there are always problems in their life" he said mentioning his daughters.
"We will figure it out Dr. Saltzman" the tribrid replied "I won't let her get hurt"
"If malivore wasn't enough, why does they are following them?" He questioned
"Not them, it's that weird saccubus who they want" Hope corrected him "Which is why Josie's in danger too"
"Is that the only thing that you criticise her" He asked. When the tribrid heard the approaching footsteps towards the cellar.
"There is a vampire held hostage in this school without my knowledge" The new headmaster spoke as he entered in the basement.
"Did I forgot to report him?" The tribrid asked sarcastically.
"We need him for some quarries then we will decide if it's a risk to getting him out"
"Which is the subject matter of my school Mr. Saltzman. I think you overstayed your welcome" The headmaster tell him.
"Keep me updated" he tell Hope before leaving the basement.
The tribrid just gave him a fake smile and leave the cellar too. While the headmaster stare at the unconscious vampire.

Sophia was walking to her room when she saw the decoration for the decade dance. She made her way towards the room, the programme was about to start. She turned back to go to her room when the curly haired boy approached her.
"Are you not you coming to the dance?" He asked her
"Oh I'm just back from a tough night" she replied to him.
"You should join, dancing is a stress release" he tell her feeling little nervous.
Lizzie and Josie went to their room.
"Where were you the whole day?" Josie asked her sister
"I'm sorry if I died multiple time just because not to get kill by a monster to find our way out because we suck at maze" Lizzie tell dramatically to her twin.
"You were with Hope... I thought you hated her" her voice was in disbelief.
"Hope and I got stuck in a labyrinth by a malivore monster"
"So you're... friends now?" The brunette twin asked.
"It's not that..." Lizzie noticed Josie stumbled at her step.
"Are you okay" She asked the brunette.
"Yeah I'm fine..." Josie replied as she remembered her conversation with MG. "Lizzie I want to tell you somethings, it's about..." She was saying when Lizzie interrupted her
"I want to tell something to you too Jo. It's what Hope told me earlier..."
They both interrupted when the saccubus barged in their room without knocking.
"Josie... I want you to go to dance with me" Sophia request to her friend which was more like a demand.
"Didn't you got attacked by a vampire an hour ago" Lizzie mocked her
"I did..." Sophia glanced at Lizzie with a fake smile "thanks for your concern Elizabeth..." She used her full name to irritate her. She looked at Josie
"The dance will be start in 5 and I want to go... so what do you say sweetheart... be my date?" She asked the brunette using her charms. Josie knew the saccubus was doing this and she still got under her effect but she managed to broke her charms
"I told you to stop doing that Soph... it's only matter of time when you'll lose control" The brunette said little disappointed at her friend.
"What are you even doing?" Lizzie questioned her crossing her arms.
"Fine... I know you're mad that I didn't listen to you... but can you... do this for me... please" She gave the best puppy eyes she could muster. Josie sighed defeated

Sophia waited for Josie at the entrance of the venue. They make their entrance together. Josie was looking tired and the saccubus noticed that
"Hey... you're looking pale" She gestured at the brunette
"I'm okay" Her replied wasn't enough when she stumbled at her steps and Sophia hold her hand.
"Now you're making me regret bringing you here" Sophia said "Did you take your meds?" She asked the brunette but Josie didn't replied her which was enough that she knew Josie didn't take it.
"When was the last time you had them" She asked again.
"Before we come here" She replied.
"Which is like four days ago" Sophia exclaimed "Jo there is a full moon tomorrow. You know it will get worst if you won't have them"
"I saw it's recipe in my uncle Luke's journal, I'll make it again"
"And when were you going to made it?" She asked her.
"Today before you texted me 911" The brunette look at Sophia who has her head down in guilt as the brunette speak
"Don't worry I'll take care of that. Let me have a drink" She tell Sophia and went to grab a drink.
Sophia stood there wating for the brunette. She cared about the girl. Being her only friend back at France. They got closer in a little amount of time. She charmed the brunette to have her way with her but she always resisted the blonde girl. Which was one of the reasons why they were still friends besides her being a witch. Josie helped Sophia to control her hunger around her when she first learned about the saccubus which worked far better but she some times slipped away.
"You made it" He turned around to see the phoenix boy. A smiled appear on her face seeing the boy in his light white shirt and blue jacket. He was looking gorgeous.

Josie had a drink and took one with her when she returned to the place where she left Sophia. She looked around to search for her. She stop at her track and when she saw the saccubus dancing with the phoenix. They were dancing together in a rhythm as their body and soul melded to become one. They were seem so lost in each other. She wasn't jealous of him but at that moment she envied the boy. Everything she want, which was hers goes back to the same boy. He took away her mate from her and now her best friend. Thinking about the past made her heart constrict. Tears were threatened to fall from eyes. She couldn't stand there and went outside the school.
She didn't realise where she was going till she stopped at the dock. This was the first time she came here ever since the night of the talent show. Nothing has changed at that place. Coming here bring back the memories of that night. Her heart beat was increasing and she was taking deep breaths. She hold her chest as she felt it would explode any minute. And then she felt the same pain of rejection all over again, which is what she was afraid of. She stumbled on her feet and fall on her knees and sobbed. She covered her mouth not to make any sound. The pain grows and her heartbeat rises. She couldn't breathe.... this is the end.
That's what happens to those who got rejected by their mate. They'd die because of the grief. That's what she heard of and read in different stories. In spite of the evidence if they were true. In that moment the one image who appeared in front of her was that wolf sitting beside her in that dark forest.
Just when she thought it would all be over the pain suddenly dissappear. Her heart beat became normal and she was breathing just an instance. She felt a presence behind her and turned to saw a white wolf standing in front of her. Bleeding. The golden orbs looking at her like it was seeing right through her soul.
She knew the wolf very well. It was the same wolf from her dreams. Who always calm her. Make her feel in peace. Her mate. Her twin flame. Who is also the only tribrid in the world and the very same person who caused her pain for the rest of her life....
"H-ope..."

The vampire was locked in the cell and there was time till he woke up and the tribrid can avenge him for laying a finger on her mate. She needs to know who want to cause her harm. The brunette's hate and ignorance towards the tribrid was also unbearable and frustrated for her. Her friendship with the brunette's twin ruined because of her own fault decision. Besides her relationship with her so called new friend was also triggered her wolf to attack the saccubus rip her to shrades. She called her sweetheart, held her hand, she laid her head on her shoulder and the brunette literally risked her life to save her. If some part of the tribrid didn't want to kill the saccubus before the attack on Josie it does now. She has the very unique thing which was precious to the tribrid. She had lost her mate before but she didn't intend to made the same mistake again.
Again it was her fault at the first place. If she hadn't made her decision in a trance things would be different today. She regretted that choice every day in past ten months. Her wolf was upset with her for months, they had the same identity but different thoughts. Her wolf was desolated in sorrow for her mate. She felt the pain and heartbreak when she rejected her mate and she also felt the loneliness when they were away. She would felt the heaviness in her chest which turns to an unbearable pain and suffering which made her weak. Even if she is the strongest creature in the world. She knew it was her mate's pain which made her hate herself every day. It grows every full moon as sometimes she got out of control. With the events and incidents happened around her doesn't make it easy for her either.
If she rejected her and the bond was broken, why this is happening to her? She never knew the answer. She couldn't share it with anyone as she became more distant with everyone around her. Spent most of her times alone or in wolf form. And one day the pain stopped as she couldn't feel her bond anymore. But she knew it was there. She somehow felt relief from the unwanted pain which went away but it also made her think that the bond between them completely broken. Which scared her to lost her only chance in redemption. Redemption for hurting her own other half which put her in a misery for the rest of her life.
She was running in her wolf form. Beyond the boundaries of the school grounds where she could take out her frustration. She didn't realised how deep she went into the forest when she got tackled by a wild animal. A wild bear. The tribrid was pissed and frustrated and the bear came in her way at the wrong place and at the wrong time. It attacked the wolf and pierced his large canines at her front foot making her bleed. The wolf howled but throw back the bear from afar. Before the bear got the chance to stand up to its feet and fight again the wolf attacked it clawing at it's stomach and back foot. The bear got back and before the tribrid could attack it again she felt the huge pain her chest. The bear took the chance and step away from the fight limping away from wolf. She was familiar with this pain before, it was the bond. She turned to her feet and ran at the certain direction she didn't recognised. She just wanted to be near her mate. The blood was dripping from her wound but she ran as fast as she could. Within few minutes she was back at the dock where she find her mate falling on her knees helding her chest. She didn't felt the pain anymore as her only focus was to making sure her mate was safe but crying as she look that tears in her eyes when her mate look at her.
"H-ope..."

Sophia and Landon was dancing when they stare at each other's eyes. Dancing was just an excuse to spent some time with the curly haired boy. She was irresistible but she couldn't resist the cute smile on his face when he looked at her earlier. It was weird for Sophia but she enjoyed his company. She was feeling more than just lust towards the boy. She would be lying if she doesn't want to take the situation to her bedroom and give the boy the pleasure of being with a saccubus.
The song changed making them broke from the trance.
"I never really approached a girl before but with you I felt little different" Landon admitted. Sophia remembered what Josie told her about him.
"Don't be lover boy, your girlfriend would be very pissed if she found you flirting with me" Sophia replied him. Landon seemed tensed at her response
"Who told you that?" He asked her
"Isn't the tribrid your girlfriend" Sophia asked him.
"Hope..."
"Hmm..." She hums in response.
"She is not my girlfriend Sophia" Landon tell her the truth. Sophia felt something clicked in her when the phoenix said he wasn't in a relationship with the tribrid. She wanted to kiss. Hold him. And doing all the other stuffs she was craving for ever since she met him.
And then she remembered she didn't control of herself earlier and she didn't want to risk it with Landon.
The song stopped as the DJ changed it to something rock.
"I think I need a drink" he said and leave the girl there immerse in her thoughts.
Sophia found herself getting frustrated every passing second. She needed to complete her sexual desires. She move past some guys from the stage to made her way to the drinks counter. She took six shots at vodka. Trying to control her trembling. When she heard a familiar voice
"Aaand you're a drunkard too" She turned to her side to find the wolf boy she met earlier.
"I had a rough time"
"I bet you did... saccubus" he looked at her. "Didn't know you're good at dancing" He tell her. Sophia smirked at him using her charms on him. Josie told her not to use her charms on anyone around the school but she was a rebel
"Wanna know what else I'm good at..." She said trailing her index finger from his lips to his abdomen. The wolf boy just stare at her, fully under her control. He pulled the girl in a heated but hungry kiss as they both escape the party and somehow made it to her room in one piece.
