(June 2nd)

Yeri was just at her wits. She had enough walking down the seamless forest trees that never parted ways, the smells that filled the cool-ish air, and the sounds of scary animals lurking around her surroundings. Not to mention, it was the middle of winter, and things get hectic during this time of season. The snow gave her no mercy and kept spitting down. Thankfully the trees gave her a bit of cover, but it didn't act much like an umbrella. She already tripped in a river and had soaked her boots and a bit of her clothing. And since the cold air was never going to disappear anytime sooner, she was shivering as hell.

"I was foolish for venturing out here by myself." Yeri muttered to herself while wiping the snow off her face.

She looked up hoping to see a bit of hope, only then did she realize that she forgot her phone, which means she couldn't call her friends, family, and hell, even the police. She huffed in frustration just realizing how idiotic she was, and that if she got lost in this cold, there's no way in hell would she be able to fight to see the next day. As she lingered onward to Peace Village, the thoughts of dying frightened her. She really didn't want to die, she only just graduated a few weeks ago and her friends invited her to go to Japan. But all that would be a waste if she died out in the cold of night. Just when she thought she was actually going to die, she saw a sign.

'Welcome to Peace Village!
May the best happen to you here.'

Yeri almost leaped in joy (ha, joy XD) when she realized she had absolutely no strength left. All this walking in the cold weather wore her out. Now, all she needed to find is a red mansion, not hard, right? Well Yeri had the answer for you, it was surprisingly hard.
She walked past the sign meaning that she finally entered the village. With all her mighty power of strength she had reserved, she walked around aimlessly tying to figure out which direction is which. She sighed, it was useless. It's snowy, cold, and unbearable for her. Every which way Yeri looked, it was white. Despite how dark everything is around her, Yeri had the eyes of a cat, and she was praised a lot because of it. She half smiled remembering her past, and with one last ounce of strength left in her body, she took a big leap forward when something caught her eyes.

"Red." she whispered.

Suddenly filled with glee and raced towards that huge building, not even caring about her tiredness. She slowed down when she went up to the door. And with one huge inhale, she knocked on the door.

No answer, so she waited.

Still, no answer, and Yeri was getting impatient.

Just when she was about to turn around and die in the outskirts of town, the door swung open to reveal a tall girl in front of her. Yeri looked at her features. Round brown eyes, long dark brown curly hair that hung loosely beside her waist, her lean framed body, porcelain skin as pale as those creepy dolls, an unusual velvet gown paired with red shoes and a red paper crown on her head.
The other girl also studied Yeri's figure as well. Then her slotted eyes gazed back at hers. Yeri was so mesmerized by her gorgeous brown eyes that her words were caught in a lump in her throat. The other girl gave a smile, but what Yeri found odd was that it wasn't a usual smile, more like a twisted up one.

"Hello. What are you doing here?"

That greeting was far off from what Yeri was expecting, that she almost chocked her words out.

"Uh-ummm... well uhhhh." Yeri spluttered up, before clearing her voice. "I, well. To start off.... I was told that there was this red mansion house situated here, and so I was curious to see it myself and uhhh...." yeri trailed off gazing to the ground before looking back up to the particular girl in front of her.

"Well here you are. Happy now?" the girl said with that smile of hers.

"Yeah... um." But before Yeri could finish her sentence, she was cut off by the wind. Her body started to tense up by the coldness and started shaking uncontrollably. The girl looked down with a pitiful gaze before opening the door wider.

"I normally don't do this, but you seem to be extremely cold. I fear you may get a cold."

Without any questioning, Yeri took no time to hop in the house. The tall girl closed and locked the door behind them. She then walked in front of Yeri, telling her to welcome herself in.

"By the way, uhhhh.... what's your name?" Yeri asked with a bit more confidence in her tone.

The tall girl with the red paper crown then bowed and smiled, but her smile seemed different, more like a sincere and normal smile.

"Park Sooyoung, but you can call me Joy."
