Keeva's POV:

I wake up hazily. I'm surrounded by flowers. The galaxy sword lies a few feet away from me.
Fox...
Keori...!
I look around. Fox is curled up in a flowerbed shivering. Her bag a few feet away. I shake her to get her to wake up, but that just leaves me with blood on my hands.
She's hurt.
I shake her until she wakes up
"Where... where are we?" She asks groggily. I help her sit up.
"You." I hear an angry growl come from above us.
I look over and see Keori with tears in her eyes. Fox, leaning against my shoulder, looks down.
"You left my best friend!" Keori sobs.
Fox doesn't say a word. I help her to stand, but she refuses to look either of us in the eyes.
"Veemos. I'm... I'm guessing that's where... where we are." She shudders with the cool breeze coming through.
"I don't care." Keori snaps. I've never seen her this angry.
"Keori..." Her voice comes out in a hushed whisper.
"Keori lay off." I put my arm out in front of Fox.
"No, let her." Fox looks up at her, "I deserve it."

Fox has tears in her eyes. She just stares at Keori.
"I left Foxy. Again." She wipes her tears.
"Yes, you did." Keori scoffs, "Traitor."
Keori walks between us and purposely bumps into Fox.
I turn to look at her.
"This is war.." I start.
"I know I can't save everyone." She straightens her back, "I'm not like Bonnie."
We see Keori sit down by a field.
"Let's set up camp." Fox sighs, "We need to rest and eat. I'll try and get in contact with Dex."
I nod and walk to Keori.
This is a mess.

Foxete's POV:

As soon as Keeva leaves I walk towards the woods and lean on a tree for support.
I left Foxy... again....
I get dizzy.
My heart is in my throat.
Thump, Thump, Thump.
I can feel my knees giving in.

Freddy was so close to getting the sword...
I let myself slide to the base of the tree and sit down. I dial Dex's number and listen to the rings.
...
I call him again.
...
Nothing.
I sigh and dial Illoha's number. She answers instantly.
"Yes?" She asks.
"Hey... Princess." I sigh.
"What happened?" She asks worriedly.
"We...We found... Foxy." A lump forms in my throat.
"That's good!" Her voice trails off, "Right?"
"We..." I take a deep breath, "I lost Foxy...again."
She stays silent.
"Oh." Was all she could say.
"We're on Veemos I think." I change the topic, "I used the galaxy sword."
Again, no response.
What's a fitting response for after your girlfriend says that she uses the same weapon that killed half your people and you mother?
"Are... are you okay?" She asks concerned.
"Physically." I lie, looking at the wound in my side. Don't worry about that now.
"Ophelia tracked your location, we're coming to find you. Find a safe location. I love you." She sighs.
"Love ya' too, Princess." I smile.
She disconnects from the channel and I walk back to Keeva and Keori. They're nowhere to be seen. My heart races, did they leave me? I walk over to where they were before. The galaxy sword and Keeva's signal tuner sit on the ground.
Where did they go?

Keori's POV:

We've been running for 10 minutes straight. That beast hasn't stopped chasing us.

*While Fox was talking to Illoha*

Keeva didn't say anything when she walked over, just sat and examined the galaxy sword. Suddenly Keeva grabs my wrist and pulls me upwards so I'm standing. Across from us is a disgusting, hairy, giant with 15 eyes. It has a spear pointed at us.
"Run."

*Present Tense*

So here we are, running from a hairy giant. We ran until we couldn't hear its giant footsteps anymore. I lean against a tree while I regain my breath.
Keeva laughs, "One thing after another, huh?"
I smile back. Suddenly, her face goes very pale.
"Keeva?" I ask.
"Do you have a signal tuner?" She asks.
"No..?" I panic.
"We left Fox with all of our equipment." Keeva facepalms.
"We're stranded?!" I hiss.
Keeva sighs, "Yep."
