Foxete's POV:
I walk for miles. It's hopeless. I can't find Keori or Keeva. I was able to bandage my wound and clean it, but I don't have food or water. I'm just walking in hope of finding someone. Anyone. Well, not anyone. Finding Freddy would be an inconvenience. According to my signal tuner, it's been hours. I call Illoha every once and awhile to check in. They can't find Keori or Keeva either. I think I see a city in the distance, so I begin running towards it. It has a sentence in Evonian that I'm able to piece together.
New Keekos
I hear yell in Evonian. I can understand bits and pieces, but I'm so exhausted I don't even try.
"Hybrid... monster... thief?" Were all things said in Evonian
"Is Kreko alive?" I ask, "I'm with General Keeva and another Evon girl."
"Where are they?" Their 'leader' asks me. She oddly looks a lot like Keeva.
"I don't know." I admit.
"Bring her to the Governor." Two soldiers grab my arms. I don't fight back. I'm too tired. There's no point. They aren't my enemies.
"No need to grab my arms. I'll go willingly." I sigh.
Let's hope I'm going to see Kreko.
Keori's POV:
"Ugh!!" I yell out in frustration, "We've been walking forever!"
"Calm down and just trust me." Keeva sighs.
"Why can't we just put up a distress beacon?" I ask.
"Do you have the parts for that?" She asks me.
"No..." I groan.
Where is Foxete?
Illoha's POV:
I track Foxete's signal to a metal city. It almost mirrors my home-world exactly.
"We're definitely on Veemos." Dex exclaims.
"State you name and business here!" A voice commands from the other side.
Foxete's POV:
They put me in a cell like a common criminal.
"Alright, hybrid, you can leave." The general opens the door and I see Illoha and Dex.
"You couldn't last an hour in this place without getting jailed?" Dex jokes.
I roll my eyes and smile at Illoha.
"Now you can see the Governor." The general tells Illoha.
We walk up like fifty flights of stairs before we finally reach his office.
"Permission to enter, sir?" She asks.
"Permission granted." A very familiar voice responds.
Kreko.
When the door opens, I see Kreko sitting at a desk with my bag and the galaxy sword.
"Illoha." He states bluntly.
"Hello... father." Illoha's head is pointed to her feet.
"Hello to you too, sir." I sarcastically bow.
"Foxete." He sighs, "I knew this was your stuff..."
"And you still let me sit in your dungeon?!" I scoff.
I see a hint of amusement flash on his face.
"Dex Reynolds, it's been awhile." The Governor stands up and shakes Dex's hand. "Kindly, fill me in on everything." He turns to me.
"We should all probably sit down, this is gonna be a long one." I sigh.
