Foxete's POV:
We wander through the woods for awhile in search for food. Despite not being able to connect to any other signal tuner, or send out an S.O.S, it's okay, Illoha can still track my armor, so as long as I have it on me, they'll know where we are. The planet is cold, covered in grey snow. The clothes I have on weren't made for cold temperatures, it seems that Jake and Arie weren't ready for the cold climate either. Suddenly, I hear a noise and my ears perk up. I hear the groaning of those creatures on the planet. I quickly shove Arie and Jake behind me and pull my gun out. Suddenly, one of the creatures jump out at me. I quickly shoot at it. More come, so Jake and Arie begin shooting at them as well. I see an entire heard of them coming.
"What do we do?" Arie panics.
"Run!" I call back.
"What?" Jake shoots at another zombie.
"I said, run!" I turn my head to him, but one of the zombies tackle me.
Jake shoots it with his normal pistol instead of the laser one. He picks me up and begins running. We see a building in the distance, so we run towards it with the heard of zombies behind us.
"They'll just follow us in!" Arie groans.
"I can deal with that." I pull out a bomb from my backpack.
I click the click the big red button and chuck it at the zombies. They are swarmed in flames, so we take advantage of that and run inside.
"How long have you had that?" Arie frowns.
"The whole time, but I couldn't use it." I look through my backpack, "I brought everything except food."
"We'll, none of us thought this would take more than an hour, did we?" Jake rolls his eyes.
"Jeez Ze! Be careful!" I hear a hushed voice in the distance, "I heard people!"
We all hide up against two different walls. Jake and Arie on one, I'm on the other. 2 kids, no older than 17 walk down the hallway. One of them had brown hair with purple tips and magenta armor, she looked almost human if it wasn't for her purple veins. The other one looked like a red goat on 2 legs. There's no nice way to say it. I thought Dex looked like a goat, but he takes it to a whole other level. The girl turns around and sees me. She screams and throws some sort of purple gas in my direction. I teleport behind her and cover her mouth.
"Shut it or those things will come get us!" I whisper.
The boy yanks me off of her and punches me in the stomach. I fall to the floor, but Jake comes out from the other wall with his gun pointed at them. Arie helps me up. The girl hurls some sort of purple smoke at us. It's really thick. Arie and Jake fall almost instantly, so I catch them and lie them down. I pull my shirt over my nose and teleport away from the smoke, wobbling. I was extremely lightheaded, but I ignored it. Must have been that purple vapor.
Melenee's POV:
Ze grabs my hand, "We can't leave them there."
I shake his hand off, "We aren't risking our lives for strangers."
I hear a scream come from the building. Must be that Foxete girl.
"I offered for her to come with us." I tear up.
"Would you have left me?" He asks, "Why would she leave them?"
Ze takes his gun out and runs towards the building. His power is super strength, so I know it will be impossible to stop him.
"Ze!" I groan.
I give in and run towards the lab. When we reach the lab, Foxete is still standing, but I can tell she is in pain. The zombies haven't reached her friends. Ze begins shooting at the zombies to clear a path for them. I spread my gas to the zombies to attempt to knock them out. I look over and realize that Foxete isn't anywhere to be seen. I see her appear and disappear over and over she moves smoothly and is barely getting touched by the zombies. After about 3 minutes of her teleporting around I can tell she is getting exhausted. Ze runs in and takes Jake and Arie outside. We killed all of the zombies outside, it's just the ones inside with Foxete.
"Take them and go!" She yells as the zombies block the exit. I see her chuck a radio out. Ze catches it, "Call Dex! He'll tell you what to do!"
"It says no connection." I call back.
No response.
We stare at the lab. Not one sound is made inside or out.
Pop
Foxete appears in front of us. She wobbles and falls over. Ze opens the backpack that Jake was resting on. It must be hers, because her name was on the inside. There are just a bunch of explosives and weapons. A jacket is neatly folded inside as well, but we don't touch it. I walk over to Foxete and check her pulse.
She's alive.
